There's an old woman who works the bar, I think her name is sherry, who consistently has provided me poor service. Poor attitude, long wait times, rude comments. But as soon as my husband arrives she is nice as pie to him. It's very apparent that she doesn't like other women. Saturday night 12/21/25 I went in to meet friends. I got there first, walked up to the bar to order a drink as my friends haven't arrived yet. Waited. Waited. Waited. A younger brunette walked over with a clear frown on her face and curtly told me she'd be with me in a minute. Fine no problem. Waited. Waited. Waited. My husband comes in we then sit down at a table. We wait some more. Bartenders have not come out from behind the bar still. 30 minutes later my friend arrived, we went back up to the bar to order a drink. The younger brunette proceeded to fill the water container with ice right in front of us rather than taking our order. When we ask if we can order a drink the older bartender snaps at us and tells us if we want better service we can go somewhere else and that they are too busy. Mind you there's maybe 20 other people in this bar at the time. Once we are finally able to order a drink, 45 minutes later, we drink our drinks, I close out and go home. Come to find out our friends got charged for the drinks we already paid for! We have been loyal customers for a long time, we're respectful, we're not rowdy and we always tip well. In return for years of business we get treated disrespectfully and overcharged. Unfortunately I just don't want to go back here anymore after the way I've been treated not only Saturday night but the many times the old bartender sherry has been rude in the past. And I've have advised my neighbors to steer clear for these same reasons.

A very cozy, family friendly environment with a nice patio for family and friends to relax. The inside feels like a small town convenience store and I really like the vibe! Small cute ice cream shop that is pretty standard when it comes to small ice cream shops but I respect it and can see the appeal. Haven't had any major issues with staff, over all they seem very friendly and down to earth. If you are in the neighborhood you should stop by!

I realized I had left my energy bars at home- no problem, I thought; I'll stop at this store to buy a few. Knowing my bike has an expensive bike computer, bike camera, and bike lights, I knew I was NOT going to lock my bike out front, out of my eyesight, and right on the busy street in front of the store for these devices to be easily stolen. Instead, I walked my bike to the store's side entrance, leaned the bike against an outside table, (and I was the only one in the store) and locked it. Upon checking out, the store owner (woman) barked at me and said, "There's a bike rack out front; use it next time." The problem is... there will be NO next time. As a consumer, I always have a choice and will exercise that choice with a business owner who wants my patronage- good luck in the coming recession.

Lamb skewers on a bed of lettuce. Some really tasty garlic yogurt sauce. The lamb well done lightly charred. The flavors were amazing they could have backed off and left a bit of pink inside but delicious. Somewhat still tender. The garlic sauce tasty I could not get enough. Pitas were fresh slightly toasted. A side of feta cheese which was a bit dry but still adding to the overall flavor. I finished with baklava, syrupy like I had in Istanbul at the deli. Only missing the Turkish coffee. A little grungy atmosphere which is typical for this part of town. Overall nice experience, food was really good.

You can get them all over North Dakota and Minnesota, but I haven't found them very often here in Oregon. They don't just have orange juice, they have the good orange juice. Fresh and sweet and full of orange bits. Their coffee, unfortunately, is terrible. They only have brewed, no espresso. But you put enough cream and sugar in it and it's just fine.

So tonight was my turn to use Uber Eats for this little treat. I ordered a Double Shack Burger and then added a discount combo of Coke Zero and fries. It was dropped off, i grabbed it and jumped right in while it was still piping hot. The burger patties and a thick layer of cheddar cheese pertruded from the buns inviting me to take a bite. I did, and it was a little bit of perfectly cooked beefy-cheesy heaven. It took a few bites to get to the bun then the beefy-cheesy was joined by fresh crisp lettuce, a sliced of fresh tomato and the sauce they call "Shack Sauce." The entire thing highlighted how moist, tender and flavorful the beef patties were! The crinkle fries were light brown and crisped to perfection; a perfect companion for the ketchup I had ready at home. Just a really great, simple meal. Even the Coke Zero tasted the way it does out of a freshly opened plastic bottle. No small thing as so many places let the ratio of carbonation, syrup and water get screwed up. Not here at this particular Shake Shack!
