I do not like to leave a bad review, but my dining experience today was beyond unacceptable. My family and I sat down and got our drinks quickly but our food took an hour to come. The reason was unclear--likely a lack of staff in the kitchen--but we had no idea as none of the servers communicated to us while we were waiting. We also asked multiple times what was happening but were being mislead about the timing. We did finally get our burger but the onion rings were not warm unfortunately. We also had the Carolina ringer, might be one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Nate was super friendly and helped us with our beer selection. Don't even get us started on the amazing beer. Walked in and waited for someone to acknowledge us after standing there for over 10mins. The sad part was that they weren't very busy at the time--almost 75% of their tables were empty but most of them were dirty with dishes/leftover food on it. The pizza was different. I had one of the specialty pizza. It looked and taste like a semi-deep dish pizza. It had lots of tasty ingredients w/bbq favor. The price was not cheap $30 for a pie. We came in the brewery thinking it was Rickety Cricket and sat down looked around and everything was different. We quickly realized it wasn't rickety cricket anymore haha. We had zero expectations of the place, just looking for somewhere to stop on our roadtrip and we were SOOOO happy we stopped. Danny, the brewer, was working at the bar and he was so friendly. The beer was great and they had some really unique brews especially for a "small town" brewery. Danny said the pizza was great so we got a "Dill-dough" and OMG it was delicious. WOW! KIngman arizona is not exactly a huge town. Can it support a massively delicious pizza spot or brewery? I had my doubts. So happy to discover that they can. The brewery is amazing, the food is delicious and the beer is more than satisfying. I don't think tourism is a big thing here and it seems like the pandemic has killed the main drag. It could also be that the main drag has been dead a long long time. One thing's for sure, this place packs the locals in. This is my 175th unique brewery visit. Yes, 175! We had previously been in Kingman for lunch at a nearby BBQ place and saw Rickety Cricket, RCB, nearby but didn't have time to stop. Well today we had time and stopped in. RCB has an outdoor patio set up alongside the roadway, as many businesses do post-Covid. It also has a really nice indoor tasting room restaurant area. We had already eaten so this stop was beer only for us. RCB has a lot of beers on the menu. I went with a flight of 6 and then added in an extra pint. Low Hanging Fruit is a pineapple mango blonde ale. It had a nice aroma and light flavor. Definitely a flavorful but easy drinking beer. I'll be Your Huckleberry NEIPA that didn't work for me. It wasn't bad I just didn't enjoy the IPA with the huckleberry. Prickly Bear prickly pear pale ale. Say that 5 times fast. This had a nice light sweetness to it with a little bitterness. Hazers Gonna Haze is a nice hazy NEIPA. I enjoy NEIPA's and this one was pretty good. Good hop aroma and flavor with a fruity overtone. The Sourbound And Down kettle sour ale was a pretty good sour. I'm not sure what the fruit flavor was in it but I did enjoy it. Not overly sour for my tastes. Kilted Cricket Scottish ale. I love a Scottish ale and this was a pretty good one. I had to try the Crispys which is a toffee pecan porter. Unfortunately unless ordering a flight there is no option for the smaller 4oz pour. So it was either a "splash" type of taste or a pint. How about allowing the option to get the taster sizes in other than a full flight? Anyway, I went with the pint and I'm quite glad I did. This was a full, rich beer with flavors of molasses (toffee) and a nice nuttiness. This was quite a good porter. SWPFTD went with the red ale and quite enjoyed it. We will definitely come back in when we are in the area. The food looked good so we will be sure to come on an empty stomach. The beers were definitely the standout here with a plethora of interesting and unique flavors.
