Filled out my information online said I was approved then wasted my time when I got there

Right Way Automotive was recommended to me by my employer. I know that a few other people had gone there with good results. When it came time for my oil change, I reached out to Right Way. Scheduling the appointment by phone was seamless. Sean, who took my appointment was kind and helpful. He made it so easy and even offered to shuttle me back to work, if needed. I arrived at Right Way when they opened at 8:00 AM, along with a few other customers. Everyone was processed efficiently and there was no wait time. Nick, the gentleman who checked me in was engaging and kind. I received a phone call at 10:30 that my vehicle was ready. I arrived around noon and was happy to get to interact with Nick again. He is an asset in the way of front-facing customer service. The price was very reasonable, maybe even less than if I had gone to my usual spot. I was in and out in a few minutes. One thing I noticed about Right Way was that they treated me (a female) like a human, not just some chick that doesn't know anything. Nearly every other dealership or auto repair facility I've patronized has not been able to fully accomplish this. I also liked that they just took care of me and what I needed, without beating me up about needing new windshield wipers or to have my indicator light fluid topped up. ;o) Lastly, you just know that you are being treated fairly. They lead with honesty and integrity. Plain and simple. I went home that evening and told my husband that this was our new place to take our vehicles for service. They followed up with an email to create an online account and have a record of my service history. This was an unexpected, yet awesome surprise. read more

Had a repair done on my engine that cost almost 500.The same day I drove home my car over heated so I pulled over and raised the hood. It was the radiator hose wasn't tighten. I called the owner and explained calmly the problem. Instead of being honest that they forgot to tighten the hose he denied it!! Now before I took my car there to right away Auto, the only problem was the cam. I had an oil leak that dumped oil into the cams so they had to replace it. Everything else was working fine the only other thing stated was I needed to get the valve covers fixed eventually which had nothing to do with the radiator hose. It was taken off to get to the cam. This place will rip you off I wouldn't trust any reviews on here that are good because that's impossible with this place! They're evil.. read more

Honest, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Highly recommend! Scott and Sean were a pleasure to deal with--even when costly repairs popped up that made this girl a little grouchy. Good place to go. But be ready to pay dealer price for you repair. Example is I had front brakes done there. cost me twice of what I paid another place to do the back brakes. The will go over your whole vehicle and point out what needs work . $$$$ read more

I cannot express how thankful I am to have found this little gem of an auto shop near Irvington! I went to Rightway Automotive for the first time last month to have a routine oil change and to have a rattling noise addressed. I waited onsite as my car was checked out, and was informed of the issue and advised that while the fix was recommended, it wasn't exactly a necessity. I visited again today to have my check engine light, a brake signal indicator and a door handle issue addressed (my car is 16 years old.) They were kind enough to provide me with a loaner vehicle and work on my car while I went to work. They called after investigating the issues and gave me a solid education on what was wrong with my car. They also talked me through which issues needed to be fixed immediately and which could wait--something I appreciate while being on a budget. I am so glad I found this shop and so thankful for the excellent customer service and piece of mind they provide when working on my vehicle! read more

I am usually so wary to try new mechanic shops, so I did a lot of research and decided on Rightway based on Yelp and Google reviews. I'm so glad that I went with them. The people I worked with were very kind and extremely courteous and helpful. I know next to nothing about cars, but they typed up a summary and emailed it to me about what needed to be done. The prices were also very fair. I will definitely be a regular customer in the future. read more

I can't express enough how incredible their customer service is. Scott is awesome and makes an effort to develop a personal relationship with all his customers. I will never bring a vehicle anywhere else as long as I live in the Indianapolis area. He turned my 1999 Accord into a well running long lasting vehicle. His pricing is honest as well and all the work they do is very thorough. All repairs I have had done have a two year 100% warranty. 2 out 5 stars got a lot excuses and the alignment was barely in spec.I spent twice the money because it took them more time.its too bad the time they spent wasn't spent very wisely.you could see one wheel was tilted badly the wrong way.I had a mechanic fix it. (Not rightway)A whole bunch of time and money spent,for a simple alignment procedure I had all new front end parts so the issue was their skill.I suppose they can do simple repairs well.Obviously shimming a control arm is not one of them. read more

I took my 8yr old vehicle with 122k ('12 Sonata)here as my fiancé had excellent experience with her 13yr 200K car ('06 Altima). My car has some oil burning issues and from google searches indicated that the PCV was probably bad. The Hyundai dealership up the road said they've never seen a bad PCV in Sonata and that burning 2qt of oil every 3k was within factory standards and that they'd recommend an engine replacement at about $5k. I had RightWay do an oil change and ask them to change the PCV. They didn't give me an excuse or object to checking and changing the PCV value. Turns out the PCV was bad! So while the new part probably won't complete stop the oil burning issue(it's an 8yr vehicle w/ 122K) it should help reduce it significant. I thought my front end alignment was off but forgot to mention it to them with everything else I was having them done to the vehicle, but they discovered it on their 30 point inspection. I was happy they did as I was also buying two new all season tires and bad alignment will just eat your tires, which are expensive. Don't think I will be going back to that Hyundai dealership for service since I've found Rightway. Only bad thing is that they're not open on Saturdays but at least they have a loaner vehicle for you to use. My fiancé is going to need a newer used vehicle so I need to make my vehicle last as long as possible because we don't want to vehicle payments at same time. I think RightWay Auto can help me my vehicle last much longer. read more

5 Stars. These guys are Pros, period. They tell you what you need without padding the bill with a bunch of extra BS. I've had them do some extensive work, and also minor repairs and they have always gone the extra mile to make sure I understood the repair and the price was reviewed as well. I do not bring my cars here because they are lower in price, which they usually are, I bring them here because they do quality work, and are an honest shop. read more

This was my first time going to Rightway Automotive. I found them through an online search for auto repair facilities in and around my zip code. After evaluating a few other facilities, the reviews I read about Rightway Automotive's customer service and knowledge/experience with car repairs solidified my decision to go there. My car was having some pretty big issues making grinding sound when I started the car followed by a burning smell. I called Rightway Automotive and they were able to have me bring my car in the very next morning. From the very first phone call my interactions with them have been amazing. When they finished diagnosing my car, they called to give me an update and I learned that my A/C compressor pretty much "blew up" and needed to be replaced. When Bill called to tell me the bad news he was informative, friendly, compassionate and very understanding when I asked questions and even called him back trying to rationalize the costs and work that needed to be done. Car repairs are never something we 'look forward to' and almost always carry a pretty big price tag. This was no different in my case. The 'bright side' though is that they were willing to work to try and keep my costs as low as they could while not short changing me or my car. They not only take care of your vehicle by doing great work, they take care of you, the customer as well with exceptional customer service! Not to mention, I get a 2-year warranty and my car working like it's supposed to once again! They have earned my business and my recommendation and although I hope I don't have to take it back in any time soon, if/when I do, I'm taking it to Rightway Automotive. read more
