Stopped in for Happy Hour after a busy afternoon! Sooo glad we did! Definitely recommend the Nachos and Pizza!! Sooo delish, well served by our server and ample comfortable seating inside with views! Will be back!!!

We came for lunch a few months ago because we saw some good reviews and wanted to try something different and this place did not disappoint. When we got here it was pretty busy but not slammed and we got seated right away. We loved the decor as it had lots of pictures of dogs and they still had some lights up from Christmas but we thought it added a nice touch to it. The menu wasn't super busy or had a lot of items but it had a great selection. My daughter got the bbq burger and loved the sauce that came with it and the tots were super crunchy which she loves! My husband had the macho salad and he said it was very flavorful, the chicken was super moist and was not dry at all like some other salads we've had with other places. I had the taco salad which I loved! The chicken was super moist and the guacamole seemed very fresh! We will definitely be coming back again when we are in the area!

Came by while in town right before closing. Was greeted and sat quickly. I had the Drake Burger. It was really good. Got a little bit messy after a few bites but overall I recommend you give it a try! The spot is a vibe I'm sure in a Friday night with the music going it's a good time! I

I love Riley's. Although it was a hot day in Folsom, the beautiful deck are provides fans and water mister's which makes for a comfortable environment. The staff are professional and friendly. The food comes out fast and hot. I had the chicken tacos which were delicious. My dining mates had the hamburger sliders and the chicken BLT. Food was enjoyed by all. Do yourself a favor and visit Riley's on Sutter. You won't be sorry.

I've been here a few times, and I love the environments and service here. Zia does an amazing job making drinks and ensuring customers are being served. I've seen her countless times the only one working bar and kills it. I've only tried the pulled park sandwich special which tasted amazing. I will be back to try other food and drinks and would highly recommend this place.

HAPPY HOUR! Had happy hour at Riley's on Sutter and it was a great experience with good service a great ambience and great food and drink! Everything's really festive inside and they have heaters outside if you wanna sit outside. I would highly recommend if you have a family or a group of people to come out over and have some food and drink!

After landing in Sacramento, we were looking for a food joint. Tried a place in downtown Sacramento that didnt work out, so we came here instead on the way to Rescue. Its a really large place. They have a huge outside area as well,as a large indoor area. This place is evidently named after their first rescue Riley. Very beautiful dog. And a very good mission too rescuing more dogs. We ordered several things: 1. Cheeseburger slider- it was ok. 3 of them. It was ok. Nothing special. 2. Calamari- they were really well breaded. I love the crunchiness. It eas really good. 3. Boneless wings- good seasoning. It has a good amount of heat to it. Moist inside. A nice crunch on the outside. 4. Quesa birria taco- they were pretty good. Comes with chips and salsa. 5. Cajun jambalaya- it wasent that good. Flavors were muted. It needed more seafood in it. 6. Wintery cocktail- it was a marshmallow drink. It was really good. Refreshing and light. On the sweeter side. But it was really good. A cool concept restaurant. They can handle large groups. Dogs are welcomed here too. There was somewhat of a wait to order our food even though they werent busy at the time. But super friendly people. Food is good. I thoroughly enjoyed Rileys on Sutter!!

Came in on a Saturday night around 7pm. Greeted and sat promptly. Staff were nice, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. There was a live artist when we were there. Items on menu weren't too expensive, portions were fine. Food items: Salmon tacos: 3.9/5 - Salmon was ok. Felt like a Cajun rub on the salmon before placing in the taco would've upped the score a bit. Felt like it was missing something Tots: they were tots Burger: Friend seemed to like it. Overall, the place was fine. I would try other eateries in the area if we return.

First time visiting and it was a good experience. The food was solid bar/ grill fares- classic burgers, fries, chicken wings, and flatbreads. While it's not the most innovative menu, everything was delivered well. The location on Sutter Street is fantastic. They have an awesome covered outdoor patio heat lamps , large TVs, and the second floor location allows for some fun people watching . We came with a large party , and really appreciated the friendly, attentive service. Our waitress handled the busy party seamlessly and kept everything running smoothly. A great place for large gatherings or casual eats in Old Folsom . Oh and the owners obviously love dogs ... photos of pups everywhere. Dog people are my kind of people :)

Came on a Sunday for my moms birthday. It wasn't busy so we were seated right away - we chose to sit outside which is super cute, as long as weather permits, haha. The staff was very nice & the food was delicious! My only thing about the chicken sandwich was that I thought it would be spicy.. it wasn't. The chicken was smaller than I was anticipating as well, but overall good! They have a pretty large menu so we will definitely be back to try more.

Had a GREAT time with Thom at Rileys on Sutter in Folsom! Our server, Annie was a rockstar. You could tell this was not her first rodeo. She knew everything about the menu and Rileys (she's been there since opening)....cheerful and friendly as ever. Great service! Thanks Annie! Food was D-Lish... Had happy hour appetizers and a draft beer. Sat on the patio, loved it-even with it being a little chilly-they had heaters and it was nice. The totchos were delicious, spicy Nashville chicken waffle sliders and onion rings. The waffle sliders were spicy. The Totchos were the best!!! Onion rings were crispy and flavorful. Also ordered the poke for our daughter, who really liked it. Our server was super nice, and we want to return.

This is a fun restaurant with a fun, fusion menu. The ambience is casual and the service is friendly. The food is delicious. It can sometimes take a little while to get your food but they are quick to service cocktails. It's a great place to enjoy conversation and not be rushed. read more

I got a Caesar salad with chicken here and it was GREAT! I also saw so many delicious plates coming out of the kitchen, enough to warrant me coming back with friends. Also, the staff was kind and efficient! They made the atmosphere so welcoming and chill, while putting out food that honestly would make your palate jump for joy! Love Riley's on Sutter...one of our favorite spots to relax, knowing the food will be perfect. Our favorite is the Spartan flatbread pizza...more than enough for two. Mike, the owner, knows how to run restaurants; and we are thrilled he took over the old Hacienda building. The patio, as everyone knows by now, overlooks busy Sutter Street; so it makes for a fun evening. We will return, obviously. read more

It was my first time at Riley's along with my daughter(8yo) and my mother and we were so impressed with everything. The food was SO good! The ahi poke bowl on happy hour was so yummy I wanted to lick the bowl when I was done. It was also a steal for the happy hour price, it came with a decent amount. Kim was our server and she was so sweet and intuitive. Perfect level of friendly and engaged, but still gave you your space to eat and visit with who you came with. It's wild what impact the server's energy has on your overall experience. Can either make it or break it. It was about 100 degrees out but with the misters on we were able to sit on the patio comfortably and not feel like we were getting soaked in a rainforest. Very cool spot, formerly Hacienda del Rio, at the corner of Riley and Sutter in Folsom's Historic District. Large deck overlooks the street, and the view from the rear looks out toward Lake Natoma. Owner is a pro, food is good and bartenders are great. read more

Food was amazing! Service was great! I love what they did with the place and the story behind the restaurant name. I have lived in Folsom all my life, and went to Hacienda frequently, but not for the food. It was drinks and the deck. Now they have great food along with great drinks and awesome remodeled deck. I love how he incorporated the pictures of the dogs! The owner Mike is super nice, and I appreciate him stopping by to see how our visit was. He even shared his story about the name behind Riley's which was very heart warming. I highly recommend! Will definitely be back! read more

First, let me preface this review with we went here thinking it was still some version of the Hacienda. It is not. It changed AGAIN. The new menu has full on identity crisis and a bit confusing. It appears the owner wanted to keep some variation of Mexican food to appease the locals who are used to the space being a Mexican restaurant. Food was blah. Service was blah. Art work was blah. We tried Riley's for the first time Saturday night. Kim took great care of us and she had great food recommendations. Our meal was delicious. Everything she recommended was wonderful. She highly recommended their burgers and we also tried the fried chicken sandwich. It was so juicy and the burger was fantastic. The cocktails are really fun. I had the Nutty Professor. Delicious! It also had a dried edible slice of pineapple on top. It r asted like a yummy gummy. Also, their Caesar salad was very fresh with crispy lettuce and the sweet potato fries were off the charts, crispy on the outside, tender in the middle and perfectly seasoned. read more

I sent an email. 7 days after that, I received a shipping email for one item and a refund for the other. No explanation, no apology. If I didn't call and email, these guys would do nothing. Horrible business.

I brought it to the attention of the employee and was told my change was correct, the item is $1.49. I pointed out the $.99 price to the employee who informed me the owner told her to charge $1.49 even though the price clearly indicates $.99. I told the employee that wasn't legal but she refused to sell it for $.99. I handed her the item back, she gave me my $2.00 back and I left. I contacted the City of Folsom to investigate today. *****There ware 10 boxes with the same merchandise marked @ $.99. Wasn't a accidental mis-marked item. Filed a complaint with the state today!

He instantly came over to talk to us when we are browsing to talk about his store pics and I told him I was new and he was explaining to me about the different bourbons and how are they are made and what they had in the store. The good about this place is that there is great service with some of the best customer support I've ever had, especially for a liquor store. He has a large variety of different bourbons and wines. He they do some combo deals on multiple bottles that are listed on the tags by the bourbon. There are a ton of store pics and he loves talking about them and is very passionate. The stores while organized and clean. Mostly store picks are on the right side and the left side has the regular ones. He has a lot of allocated items in the back and on top shelves. Everything is priced around secondary market and some are decent deals. Best customer service no upselling of items. He just talked about what he had and he made sure that I made the correct choice and didn't overspend. He would rather have a repeat customer then making a buck. 100% would come back here again.

Next time, the same crepe was at least warm overall but the chicken mushroom crepe definitely was reheated in a pan. Coffees are pretty basic as well. But you overall pay a premium for the nice decor. I feel that some other places such as Julian's in Folsom and CT In Cameron Park were much better taste wise and if not for just the decor and ambiance I'd totally avoid this place.

If you would really like to be taken care of someone who has a genuine pleasure in the work she does ask for Cheryl. She can always give a good recommendation as well as explain why she would prefer one to the other. The way she talks and holds herself is not only professional but feels like you're seeing a buddy of yours at work. I've not only had the pleasure of being a customer for Cheryl but also a co-worker. Boss man, if you're reading this, you've kept yourself a gem who is not only a team player but someone who takes care of her team. When i was a kid working his second job she'd always give adivce and help wherever needed. Now I'm not so young anymore and I still see how she treats every table and it hasn't changed from the warm way and attention she'd pay for each table in their own unique ways. The food is fantastic, the scenery is gorgeous with views of the river, classic cars, and history. To top, it's all paired with the pinnacle of customer and team service. I'm thrilled to see the old Hacienda building on Sutter Street brought back to life under new ownership as Riley's on Sutter! I know it's been Riley's for a minute, but I'm glad that this spot has quickly become a great addition to Historic Folsom. The service here has always been fantastic--our server was super attentive, and even the bathrooms were spotless. The food didn't disappoint either. We tried the Key Lime Pie Martinis with a graham cracker crust rim, which were tangy and refreshing. Their happy hour menu at noon was a pleasant surprise, and we took full advantage of it. We ordered the Manhattan Pizza, which felt more like a flatbread but was still delicious, and the hand-rolled flautas served with flavorful birria sauce and cheese--definitely a highlight. The location is perfect, offering a great vibe in the heart of Folsom's historic district. Overall, Riley's delivers excellent service, tasty food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Disappointing Experience Unfortunately, our visit was not a good one. The restaurant was uncomfortably hot inside, with little to no air circulation. To make matters worse, there were flies buzzing around our table the entire time. It felt more like being outdoors in the middle of summer than dining in a restaurant. We were seated promptly but then left with our menus for over 30 minutes before the waitress finally returned to take our order. She seemed distracted and inattentive throughout the meal, which only added to the frustration. The menu is massive so many options, yet they don't seem to specialize in anything in particular. When the food finally arrived, it was not worth the wait. We left disappointed and won't be coming back. Very disappointed in the recent changes. The chicken nachos are half the size for a few bucks more than before, and the rude bartender wouldn't even let me vape on the side balcony area while I finished my beer after my meal which I had previously enjoyed doing for YEARS. Doubtful I'll come back. Edit after owner replied: No, they are half the size. They used to be a mountain that would easily feed 2 people. It was pathetic how small they were yesterday and no, they were not cheaper after I had to pay $5 to add chicken. We stumbled into this spot on a whim, and it turned out to be a fantastic surprise. The food was absolutely delicious--starting with the Flautas, which were crisp and flavorful, followed by the Spartan pizza paired with fresh Caesar salads. Every bite was spot-on. The drinks were just as impressive. I'm particular about my Old Fashioneds, and theirs was perfect--balanced, bold, and beautifully crafted. Fantastic spot! Try to get a patio seat if you can because the view is prime and it's tons of fun too! They have done wonders with the place and we love going regularly! Rilays on Sutter is a gem in Folsom! The outside patio is fantastic, offering a great view of downtown that really adds to the dining experience. The service was top-notch, especially thanks to Brittney, who was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
