This place was really good. I'm a big fan of micro brews, especially reds and ambers. So when I met some friends here we came over and ordered a couple of beers. I had the Red Rattler but I asked to taste the Vanilla Pumpkin Spice which was another dark beer. I would have thought something like that would have been really sweet but it was NOT. A friend ordered a pizza but it was too big for him to eat so I had a slice and it was really good too. The place was not very full but it was 5 PM on a Friday and it looked like it was starting to fill by the time I left. The band had just started up too and there was an outside area with games and saw some families out there. Bathrooms were clean and the service was really good. We were there just before their Happy Hour ended so we got a $2 discount off beers, that's always good. read more

When you enter, there's a patio area with picnic tables and canopy outside. FYI - There's a No Alcohol beyond the patio area. When you enter the building, you'll see seating areas, a DJ booth, high top tables and a bar. There's two restroom inside. The bar area is pretty small and not much drinks to choose from. The Friday night I went was pretty lit, they played old school R&B along with hip hop. It was popping but surprisingly it was only a handful of people on a Friday night. I believe they close @1/2am, am not sure. There's a dance floor you can get your jiggy on. They don't have a food menu but when we got there it was late around 10/11ish. Outside on the patio area they were cleaning up a taco stand. Overall the staff was friendly and a welcoming place. I would def pop in when I am visiting Harrahs. read more

We stopped by for some food and drinks before the concert. Given that it was a Friday night, the crowd was surprisingly small, likely due to the early hour of 6:30 PM. The food options were limited: a medium-sized pizza advertised as large, ten mini crunchy tacos, and wings. However, the drink selection was more impressive. I recommend trying the Rattler, which pairs well with the tacos. The spicy cucumber beer was also excellent, offering a fresh taste with a bit of a kick. I loved this brewery! I love supporting communities that have their own version of something generic. The brewery is on a native american reservation. The beer is very good. We got a couple beers to go and they tasted very good. They have a high ABV level for your buck. The actual brewery is very upbeat with karaoke nights. The servers are very nice. Only con is that it does close a bit early but you could get some to go and enjoy them in your hotel room. read more

Take a break from gambling and grab a cold beer! This craft beer place is located across the valet parking area, in a stand alone building. Hours vary. We went on a Thursday night in May and it was Karaoke night. The place was empty at 6:30, but quickly filled up with small groups of people. The bartender started us off with a few great classic songs (great voice, BTW) and eventually roped in some patrons to join in on the fun. Not much in the way of prepared food, but a good selection of chips and pretzels is available. This has been a must visit everytime we are at harrah's. I feel proud supporting a tribally owned brewery and they produce such amazing craft beer. Ever since they first opened I instantly fell in love with their Oasis beer which is a low hop, light and refreshing blonde ale. It's very flavorful and refreshing and perfect for a day out at the pool. Rez dog is a close second and pairs well with bullet bourbon. It's the perfect banana flavor in a hefeweizen. A major bonus is finding a brewery that is very handicap/wheelchair accessible which isn't always easy for me to find. The space is very large and they have a lovely outdoor patio. I haven't visited their new location in Ocean Beach but im very proud of seeing their growth. They even had a stall at Disney California adventure food and wine festival. That should tell you they are amazing and growing quickly. I do hope they will make it further up the coast to the south bay but for now they are definitely worth the drive to SD. read more

I enjoyed a night out here with great company and a few drinks! 2nd time here and both didn't disappoint. Cozy seating areas or grab a seat at the bar. I like that they served beer and wine. Love that they had some traditional games to play too as we sipped our drinks away. Kept clean and a yummy food truck was posted up outside. Just a quick walk over from the hotel. BEST kept secret of this casino!!! Been here multiple times and so disappointed not many people know of this brewery. Its across from the hotel unfortunately they are unable to advertise in the casino. They have karaoke Thursday and Sunday . Different events like UFC as well as food trucks on fri and sat. Looks like they have live bands sometimes . We enjoyed the karaoke host was awesome seems like lots of locals with some great voices. Beer prices for a pint $8 they also have 4 packs to go for $20 and swag for sale. Ambiance is casual and low key. They sell snacks like chips n nuts. First time here after visiting Harrahs a zillion times. Had a flight of 7 beers. Loved the Ale, the Blonde, and the Red. Didn't care for the Hefe or the 2 IPA's. The Blueberry Saison was actually pretty good. Very nice tasting room, plenty of TV's to watch sports, and a nice outdoor space with cornhole game. Well worth a visit. read more

Named for the nearby highway that mirrors the trail once used by the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians to travel to the coast, SR76 Beerworks bills itself as the first craft brewery owned by a Native American Indian tribe. Located on the property of Harrah's Southern California Resort (though not accessible from the casino floor), the SR76 tasting room is very nicely done. It is large, has several seating areas with different moods (large bar, tables, armchairs, counter under the window) and the design is excellent. It feels polished yet comfortable. There is none of the chaotic hustle of the casino, which makes it a pleasant respite, especially considering the views of the mountains through the large windows. The day I was there the bar manager was DJ-ing a playlist of mostly-80s music, which was fine with me since those were my high school days. They offer three flight sizes: four or eight large tasters, or all ten beers on the board for $8, $15 or $18 respectively. Since I had a couple of free hours but still needed to be able to drive back to San Diego, I went for the 8-taster flight. I was quite impressed. Although my flight was heavy on some of my less-than-favorite styles (Kolsch, Hefeweizen, lager, session pale ale, all of which are in my "meh" category, but they do tend to be popular in general), everything in my flight was at least good if not even better than good. My two favorites were the Rezonator IPA and the Eight & A Quarter porter. Service was knowledgeable, personable and friendly. They read my mood perfectly; checked in on me often enough but were not intrusive. I struggled to locate the entry to the parking area next to the brewery; signage could be better, and Google Maps doesn't quite get you there. When I first got here, my boyfriend was already there and made some friends with everyone there. This place is really cool because it's across from the casino and not connected to it. You don't get the smell of smoke at all. The worker Brian was really cool and talkative. He gave us some history of the beers they had and also on the brewery. They have some games where you can play with your friends. In the middle of the brewery, they have different types of hairs to lounge in. This brewery has a laidback feeling to it so that made it much more pleasing. The beer is also great, some were a little strong for me since it was IPA but still a good taste. read more

Located adjacent to the valet of Harrah's Resort Southern California is SR76 Beerworks, the sole craft beer brewery in SoCal that is owned by a Native American tribe. It is evident that great detail and thought was put into this unique project by the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians. The brand new multimillion-dollar facility is absolutely gorgeous with its blend of modern and rustic decor. Inside the tasting room there is plenty of seating whether it be at the bar or in a lounge-style chair. The isolated location of the brewery is a nice escape from the hubbub of the casino floor. My buddy and I took a seat at the bar and were helped right away by the friendly bartender, Shane. We started off with a taster of the four brews currently on tap: Supul (saison), Hell Hole (pale ale), Temet (Kölsch), and Paradise Creek (wheat beer). Shane was even so kind as to give us an upgraded version of the Supul by adding a homemade elderberry extract to the beer. With IPAs being my favorite beer style, I enjoyed the Hell Hole the most of the four and opted for a whole pint of the well-balanced pale ale. The Supul was special too with its fruity notes of apricot. It makes sense that the craft beer at this new establishment is already at a high quality since brewmaster Brian Scott has been at the center of the San Diego beer scene for years with stints at Firehouse Brewing Co., Karl Strauss Brewing Co., and Mission Brewery. Things are set to become even more exciting at SR76 with Shane mentioning that he is currently working with restaurants inside the Harrah's Resort for a courier food service. Overall, this brewery is a wonderful addition to Harrah's and is a must visit for any craft beer aficionado that finds themself in the area. read more

We visited SR76 Beerworks while staying at Harrah's. It was on our TO DO list as we do enjoy a little beer tasting. The tasting room is nice.. your standard warehouse decor with plenty of comfortable seating and the brewery in the back. The brewery is owned by the Rincon tribe, I THINK, if I'm remembering how it was explained to me. The brewery is fairly new. They just opened in November. As of early January they have four beers on tap: Supul (a saison), Hell Hole (a pale ale), Temet (a Kölsch style), and Paradise Creek (the wheat beer). They will let you do a free splash taste of each so you can pick which you want, or you can do a flight of all four in tasters or just grab a pint of one of them. I found them kind of similar to other new breweries I've gone to, where they taste okay, but that depth of flavor that comes with time and experience seemed a little lacking. I tasted each and decided to go with the Temet. It was fine. I think there is a lot of potential here and I understand they are working on an IPA and a couple other styles, so I look forward to returning and trying more things and watching how they evolve as a brewery. Went to the convenience store at gas station and bought 2 cans of their beer instead. The red rattler was awful, after 2 chugs, dumped the can down sink. Not missing anything here. read more

Music was familiar, mixed from older rock to reggae. Monday is industry night so more people were arriving & a DJ was starting as we were leaving. Most of the decor was plain & industrial just as you'd expect from a brewery. Few TV so you can watch the game too. Service: very friendly & helpful. Definitely couldn't ask for much more. Knowledgeable about the beers on tap. They are able to serve cocktails & wine. Taste: 12 beers on tap during our visit, so we got flights to sample all. All varieties from sours to ales to stouts. Many other local breweries beers on tap too. Depending on your taste/mood-they have something at least close. read more

Brian is brewing some really great beers here that will bring you back to what beer should be.The beer styles flowing from the dozen or so taps here will run the variety from a nice lager to a saison, kolsch and yes of course, a few classic IPAs. I particularly enjoyed the red ale and the blueberry saison they had on tap when we visited last. The beers here are classic, clean and very tasty. The tasting room area is well appointed with couches, games and bar height seating throughout. This is a great place to take a break from the hustle of the casino or the bustle of the pool at the resort....or simply a great spot on a beer adventure thru North San Diego. read more

The beer here is amazing! My favorites are the blueberry @8.5%and the red ipa @7.5%. I'm a fan of craft beer but this is by far my favorite. The staff is attentive and the atmosphere is awesome. They have football playing on Sundays too. All around a great time!! read more
