Very delicious Colombian food. My first time trying them out and I sat in the restaurant. When trying a new Spanish Restaurant I usually opt for Rice and beans with grilled chicken. It was so good, I almost finished the plate and it was very good serving size. They are on Uber eats thankfully so I'll probably just order that way from now on but I def recommend giving them a try.

I haven't had Colombian food in a while and thought to try out this local restaurant. Ordered online, yet it was a bit delayed when I arrived. The dish was good. The yuca and potatoes had a lot of flavor and stood out from the rest of the dish. Other parts of the dish were good, but it would be great with some seasoning. Overall, it was an interesting experience. I'll come back here to try out their baked goods.

Feels like you're eating a home style meal. Authentic dishes, fresh ingredients, good portion, lots of flavor and affordable. Only reason I didn't give it a 5, was because the wait was longer than I expected. -Bake clams were juicy, garlicky, with a sprinkle of red onions and cilantro. -tostones loaded with fresh limey guacamole and a grill shrimp on top was my favorite. -cazuela de marisco a mix of shrimp, mussels, clams, calamari in a white carnation sauce, served with white rice, 2 tostones and green salad with Italian dressing. Delicious! -grilled chicken with grilled shrimp was very savory, served with a full yellow plantain (wasn't ripe enough) white rice and beans. A cultural gem on the island

Meh I lived in the neighborhood for over 15 yrs I remember when this place opened I said I'll go in but never did. My husband was raving about how good this place is (3 yrs ago) so we ordered food for pick up (delivery was almost 2 hours to a location that was less than 4 blocks) .. anyways I ordered pork chops with rice and beans He ordered something called county fried And the sampler appetizer. The rice was very mushy The beans lacked flavor The pork chops looked like half of a pork chop (they give 2 but it equals 1) The sampler was suppose to come with a blood sausage instead they just gave us 2 sausages honestly that was the best part of the sampler. The salad that came with another meal that was ordered was the best part of the meal for me.. Honestly I wasn't a fan and probably willl continue to drive by this place . Authentic Spanish food is hard to do and this place misses the mark for me ...

The good: very very clean and the morning pastry selection looks very good. Nice decor and very friendly staff at counter My opinion: disappointed that they don't make oatmeal. I had a pineapple pastry and it was more like bread (would have been good if I liked that kind of thing). The coffee was alright - but not as strong and Columbian as I expected. I would try again for lunch but may skip breakfast time...

    Bistec a caballo

Lets bring out the obvious..Service as excellent this day. The server was always on top of things. I think he is part of the family owned and run restaurant. I had the bistec a caballo and it was super delicious. It came on a hard skillet with rice, yellow plantain and some sauce that was super good. it also included a side green salad with avocados Prices are super cheap and will def go again. The only reason it did not get a 5 star is because i ordered my steak medium and it came well done. its typical of spanish restaurants to overcook the meat.

They post a false happy hour price on the outside for beers, should this not be removed? They did not tell me the actual prices of the beer & I end up spending quite a bit.

They have a happy hour menu with beer and drink prices.

The atmosphere was welcoming and lively. I was greeted promptly by a friendly young lady at the front and she suggested that I try the beef empanadas. They only cost a few dollars so I went ahead and bought two. So as I walked to the car, which was conveniently parked in the lot behind the restaurant, I immediately unwrapped my empanada. At first, I thought it was going to be like other empanadas that I've tried which have a crispy shell however these empanadas are similar in a way, but are very different in texture. These empanadas are a bit softer on the outside and have a denser inside filling which include potatoes and beef and it was quite delicious. I thought I could eat both of them, but after one I was full. I will definitely be back to the restaurant since I'm always in that area and it's literally five minutes from where I live. I can't wait to try other items on their menu.

Went to Milina for Mother's Day brunch before our Mother's Day dinner. (Lot of eating going on on…read moreMother's Day!) We've been to Milina before but never reviewed them. Started out with coconut lemonade and a blood sausage appetizer that came with 2 mini arepas. It was our first time trying blood sausage and we were happy we did! Casing had a nice char and snap to it. Filling was well seasoned and delicious. Arepitas were light, crispy and had a very good sweet corn taste to them. Coconut lemonade was slightly tart which is how I like it and also had a sweet coconut finish to it. I would definitely order it again. For the entree we shared the Parradilla Milina Marinera which came with grilled steak, chicken, pork loin, shrimp and salted fried plantains. We added rice and beans. Grill taste on everything was terrific! Meats were tender and flavorful. Rice and beans were ok. They had free dessert for Mother's Day so my wife ordered chocolate cake which was delicious. It wasn't our first time at Milina and it definitely won't be our last. Servers were very attentive, courteous and accommodating.

The chicken empanada was also good. However, the CANASTICAS (3) DE TOSTONES RELLENOS appetizer was disappointing. It was $10 for three tiny cups, which was not what we expected. It wasn't worth the price, and we could barely taste any plantain. I accepted the conclusion. We also ordered a side of FRIED PLANTIANS (tostones). We received only three pieces, and they were extremely thin--so thin they could bend like taco shells. They were not the traditional thick, crispy tostones we expected. My husband's BANDEJA PAISA was also disappointing. The chicharrón was thin, hard, and difficult to chew. The steak was thin but good. The beans- good. Sausage-ok. A lot of rice on the plate. Then the receipt came with an automatic 18% gratuity. We don't recall seeing this noted on the menu, although it may have been listed somewhere. We were only a party of two, so we were surprised to see an automatic gratuity added. Be sure to check your bill carefully so you don't accidentally leave an extra tip. Overall, the food and value did not meet our expectations. It's simply not for us, though it may match other people's expectations, and that's okay.

We came as walk-ins on a Saturday night and were able to get a table for two right away. They offer your traditional Colombian cuisine along with a full bar and bakery. The digital menus provide descriptions in English and have photos of every item, so don't worry if you can't speak Spanish. The atmosphere is incredibly lively, so it's perfect for celebrations. They have a DJ that pumps out some great Latin tunes! You can tell everyone (including the servers) are having a great time. Definitely not the place for an intimate conversation, so come earlier if you want to avoid a lot of noise. We ordered... *Pechuga A La Colombiana $18.95 - My entrée was grilled chicken breast topped with creamy mushroom sauce and maduros (sweet plantains). It came with the option of two sides, so I chose tostones (fried plantains) and arroz blanco (white rice). First of all, the portion size was HUGE... enough to be split into two meals!!! The chicken was seasoned with cumin, scallions, onion, and more. The tenderness of the chicken and the richness of the sauce paired so well together. The tostones were deep fried to perfection with a crispy and salty exterior. The white rice was fluffy and cooked with oil, salt, and garlic, which complemented the entire meal. *Bistec A Caballo $17.95 - A hearty dish! This was grilled steak topped with fried eggs, served in hogao (tomato and onion sauce). The steak was juicy, tender, and well marinated in a blend of spices. The hogao sauce was tangy, savory, and rich. We also got a side of frijoles (beans), which were really good. *Frozen Mango Margarita ~$15 - The drink was sweet and refreshing as expected, but the tequila was weak. It could've used another shot.... Or two. Noches has won me over with their great prices and generous portion sizes! It's now my go-to spot when I'm craving a satisfying Colombian meal.
