I had been wanting to try this new restaurant for a few months and was excited to finally get there, but was very disappointed by both the food & service. We arrived at 7:00 pm and there wasn't a line and there were only three tables currently eating. The people working the counter were rude and annoyed by everything. I asked a few questions about the menu and was greeted with short, snippy answers. I ordered a meatball sub and was told there were no more meatballs; however, soon after we received our pizzas I overheard an employee saying the meatballs were ready. Why didn't the employee tell me that I could have waited an additional five minutes for the meatball sub rather than telling me there weren't any? The Marguerite pizza was very bland and arrived cold. We tried adding salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese to give it some flavor, but it was no help. The Boscaiola pizza had a little bit of spice, but also lacked any real flavor )and was cold) and again we added salt, pepper & cheese to it. In keeping with the other flavorless menu items we ordered, the garlic knots looked amazing yet were bland. I think even more disappointing than the food, was the lack of customer service. Kids wanted pizza for dinner, after considering distance and reviews. We decided to place a takeout order from this place. Phone service was quick and to the point. Arrived to the location within 20 minutes. The location is adjacent to the Burger King but you won't miss it since they provide big signs to guid you. The place was clean and family friendly. Walked to the cashier station where I was greeted with an enjoyable welcome from a far. She had our pizza ready and I was out the door in less than 5 minutes. Tried to call to order for a half hour straight - busy line every time. Decide to drive there. Sign says they will be taking their last order at 6:40. I walk in at 6:40. These people know how to make subs to satisfy a hungry person. So far I've gotten the Italian and the steak and cheese. Both sandwiches were stuffed with good quality meats and cheese. Definitely worth a trip when in Ocean City. Calzone was only $6 with sausage and worth every penny. The dough was light,crispy, and the marinara tasted amazing. The meatball parm was a little messy but worth getting dirty for lol. Either one of these can easily feed 2 people. With Ocean City being so expensive for everything, this place definitely delivered on price and quality. We'll definitely be returning next time in OC. read more

We came and sat at an outdoor table in the shade. No service, just have to go in and order yourself. Very friendly and helpful staff. We ordered half pepperoni and half sausage with green peppers on the whole pizza. Absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh and the crust is just the right amount of crispy. Tons of cheese too!! The 28" slices are a little challenging to eat on paper plates. Perhaps ask for a different cut style or cut at home to make for easier eating, or order the smaller size/sizes. Pizza was good but the meatball hoagie was GREAT. We got two pizzas- the boscaiola which was ok, I preferred the bianca. The crust had great flavor and everything seemed fresh. Seriously though the meatball hoagie stole the show and was enormous. A "half" was 11 inches and ended up split between three people over two meals. Stopped in based on the high reviews. We ordered a Stromboli with ham, pepperoni, and onion. For starters the Stromboli looked really good, however taste was lest Than impressive. There was maybe 1 or 2 pepperoni and maybe a slice or 2 of ham in the whole thing, and about a cup of ricotta cheese. Generally speaking calzones have ricotta not Stromboli's but either way it was waaaaaay to much , we scooped most of it out. Dough was good, marinara was good, Stromboli was not good. To boot we were the only guests there and older woman/ younger woman (maybe mother/daughter) were complaining the entire time about the person who closed and didn't take the trash out the night before and were yelling across the restaurant while we were waiting for our food. So unprofessional and a turn off for us. We will not be back. Ocean city has plenty of options for pizza and this will not be one of ours read more

Designed more like a typical sandwich/pizza shop with pizza and hoagies. Not sure that I wanted to stay but we did. Glad I did! We had the Onion Rings (not hand battered but still a great product. Nice and crispy), The Homemade Meatball Hoagie (an amazing product. Fresh grilled roll, 4 giant, well seasoned, flavorful meatballs & plenty of mozzarella) & Lasagna di Carne (an enormous portion easily shared by two people. Also very delicious. They also did a good job making sure it was heated through. No small feat considering the portion size). Staff was friendly and attentive. Erin was exceptional (we thought she was the manager). My friend and I were in the mood for Italian. I had the chicken parm sub and it was outstanding and huge! The homemade sauce was wonderful; the mozz cheese was incredible quality, and the bread was soooo fresh! Chicken: perfectly cooked, tasty and tender. He had the Ripieno Porcellini sub. The meats were so very flavorful, generous cheese, and again: CRAZY fresh crusty bread!! The next day we split a cheesesteak with provolone and red peppers/onions. Same wonderful bread, high quality ingredients. Tender steak, perfectly cooked peppers, onions, mushrooms. Next time we gotta try the amazing looking wood oven pizza and classic Italian sweets.
