Everything we ordered was great for our first time. Customer service lacked a bit- no greeting , just standing there waiting. Then I noticed the two screens on the wall for pending and ready orders. I figured it's more self service pick up. Luckily we ordered online because another guest was holding up the self service ordering machine the whole time I was there. Definitely adding this to our rotation! Also most if not all of the menu was locally sourced! Loved

Oh!! Rise Southern Biscuits and Righteous Chicken have come such a long way!! Ive tried this establishment on several occasions and was overall left feeling underwhelmed by my food. Ive tried different variations: regular biscuit vs. cheddar biscuit; american cheese vs. cheddar cheese; bacon and eggs vs. fried chicken. But today (as of this review, and the first time trying rise biscuits in about a year), they get a standing ovation!! My food was so delicious. They likely improved on their recipes and considered the different flavor profiles of their offered sandwiches to maximize the overall quality and tastiness. Their tater tots are yummy too! Ive always ordered via uber eats, but my food is securely packaged and warm on arrival. Overall, highly recommend!!

Today was one of those days that I did not feel like cooking. So I always would drive past this breakfast spot. So I decided to stop, and I highly recommend you to do the same. The food was hot fresh well seasoned and delicious. There are no seating. It is just a spot where you can just grab & go. And there's nothing wrong with that. They offer chicken base items like the chicken sandwiches, chicken biscuit. But they do offer other items you can substitute the chicken for like bacon, sausage or country ham. They also have grits, tater tots, Ice coffee & hot coffee. So you will have different variety of breakfast or lunch. Options that you may want to try. I purchased the cheddar biscuit with a fried egg. American cheese and bacon. My sister purchased bacon, grits with cheese. She said that she liked her breakfast. Only thing was next time she would ask for her meal to be without the Bang bang sauce. I think the bang bang sauce is a chipotle mayonnaise creamy sauce based sauce. That they had put on the grits. My niece ask for the chicken fingers & the mac in cheese & that also came with a Buttermilk, biscuit. The chicken fingers was juicy & crispy the mac n cheese was ok she really didn't like it. She's a very picky eater, but it looked good. My biscuit was very good. I highly recommend I will get the breakfast sandwich again. The bacon was crispy, the fried egg was fried to my liking. The biscuit was flaky buttery & cheesy, highly recommend RISE!!!

Wanted to love this but my biscuit was falling apart with every bite. This sandwich was buttery, but I didn't get much of a taste of the honey part. This is a pretty big breakfast sandwich which is a huge plus. This is a takeout restaurant so nowhere to eat inside. There are screen you can order on which makes it easy. Lots of different sandwich type

First timer. Delivery. Ordered cheese grits, two chicken sandwiches on biscuits, fried tomato sandwich with egg on biscuit, cinnamon roll, beignet cinnamon sugar treats, tots. $42 after discount & not including tip. All baked goods super dry & crumbly. Couldn't bite it on the sandwiches b/c it fell off. Fried green tomato tasted like it was soaked in vinegar but I think too much pimento cheese was slathered on & overwhelmed any other flavors. Had to throw it out. The hub ate the chicken sandwich but didn't like it & I didn't try the 2nd BOGO Free chicken sandwich because my own fried green tomato sandwich turned my stomach. I ate only the slab of scrambled egg from it. Tots were soggy & tasted off. Beignets were heavy lumps of very dense dough. They got super hard after a few hours. Cheese grits had an OK flavor but the consistency was unappealing. Packed down & congealed, grits were like mashed potato. Of all the foods, grits were the best offering, but then I grew up in the South, so I love grits.

BREAKFAST BISCUIT SANDWICH REVIEW: This is a very good breakfast sandwich shop in Gaithersburg, MD. I normally visit on weekends when in the area and on these days the foot traffic here is always steady. The ordering process is facilitated via kiosk located to the right of the entrance and at the front of the shop where a register would normally be located. The few times I visited I ordered breakfast items. Their biscuits are delicious and without a doubt southern style. They are thick, buttery, and have the classic tender-flaky texture you'd expect from a southern style biscuit. There might be a little inconsistency at times with the size of their biscuits, but nevertheless these biscuits are on the larger side of the scale of local biscuit sizes. Overall this is a good breakfast biscuit sandwich experience and I will continue to visit when in the area. Give them a try.

Wow!!!! I just had the ham, egg, and cheese biscuit with tatter tots and it was absolutely amazing!!! The biscuit was buttery and not dry. Melted cheese just the way I like it and my egg was fried hard. The ham had the perfect crisp to it. The service was great and my food came out fast. This is a takeout place so you cannot dine in. I ate the tatter tots before I got to my destination lol. I love a good breakfast sandwich so I'll be back for certain because I need to try the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit along with the sausage joint. Yummmm!

Good customer service. We were greeted on entry and welcomed to ask questions. We ordered 3 biscuit sandwiches. They were all good. They cooked the eggs fresh on the grill any style and bread and fry the chicken, fresh. It's a solid biscuit too, you can get a breakfast sandwich for under $10. I'll try it again.

Pumpkin beignets! Same as original, just with pumpkin spice sprinkled on top for $0.50 extra.

I've wanted to come here since they first opened, especially when they were giving away free food but I decided to wait for all the hype to subside. I had the day off and a doctor's appointment in Rockville, so I trekked the extra five miles this morning to get my biscuit fix. I did the build your own with a plain biscuit, cheddar cheese, and runny egg. It came out to be just over $5.00. I also added a cheerwine donut and biscuit beignets to my order at the do- it-yourself kiosk. It was pretty easy. My order came out quickly as there was only one other person ahead of me. I could barely wait to get home. I didn't. I had one of the beignets. It was warm and soft. It still tasted more like a biscuit than a true beignet, but it was tasty none the less. My biscuit breakfast was very satisfying. I was full, so it made for a very cheap breakfast fix. If I am in the area I will return. They have a loyalty program and you can get a free breakfast sandwich on your birthday. I missed cashing in on mine by one week. There's always next year!

We stoped by to pick up chicken biscuit sandwiches for breakfast. Put your order in on the kiosk and then wait. They have preset items but we felt it best to build your own as you can customize each one. Prices add up and mine became so big and messy I had to eat it with utensils but it was delicious and filling. Coffee was smooth as well. I get a kick out of the kiosk asking if I want to add a tip when I am placing the order and the. Making sure it was correct before leaving. Be careful if you order a coffee to let them know you are getting it yourself as they put a cup of coffee in the bag with the sandwiches one time and it spilled on the drive home making a destroyed meal and a mess in the truck.

I made an online order and while making it, I was bummed to find out that the cinnamon rolls were all sold out by 12 pm but I didn't let that deter me. I ordered an Apple fritter (4$), glazed blueberry biscuit (3$), build your own: blueberry biscuit and sausage (6$), and build your own: cheddar biscuit and righteous chicken with lettuce and tomato (8.15$) for a total of $21.15. I was able to pick up my food from one of the lockers they have for pick up orders with no problems. The Apple fritter was average, pretty small, and thinner than expected. I warmed it up and it was a bit better but still underwhelming. The glazed blueberry biscuit on its own was dry and barely had any blueberries but that wasn't the case at all when it came to blueberry biscuit sausage sandwich. The blueberry biscuit sausage sandwich (my favorite item) was pretty good. The cheddar biscuit with righteous chicken and lettuce and tomato was okay: the cheddar biscuit was decent but the chicken was just okay. All in all, if I were to go back I'd probably only go back to try the cinnamon roll and maybe get another blueberry biscuit sausage sandwich but that's it. I've

I was a little apprehensive that we would have to wait to get a table but the hostess took us right away. We sat outside because we had my dog with us. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. However, she kept forgetting the small things, like glasses of water and sugar for our coffee. When she brought us the sugar each time she would only give us three packets and their were three of us at the table drinking coffee and tea. So that was pretty annoying. The food was good. We usually go to Silver Diner but this was a good change of pace. I ordered the French Toast with Bacon and eggs. It was good, I wish they used different bread for the toast though. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostess who was very friendly. We arrived a bit late like 8pm and they close at 9 but luckily we were still able to be seated. The side car was bit strong but delicious and the Oaxacan Anticuado was a great play on an old fashioned. Charley's is known for their whisky cocktails so it was nice to experience a great drink that was not whisky. For appetizers we ordered a dozen of the half shell oysters. 6 of them were sweet and the remaining oysters were a little salty. I really enjoyed the sweet oysters. It was my first time tasting sweet oysters. They were prepared correctly and very enjoyable. For our entrees we ordered the catch of the day which was Halibat Fish with spinach and The grilled Za'tar crusted salmon with a loaded baked potato. We ordered nearly every premium item on the menu--from the fried oyster appetizer to the crab cakes and various entrées--and none of it delivered. When the food arrived, the presentation was poor, and the taste was extremely below average. Paying a premium price for this quality is unacceptable. Overall, friendly service and a clean restaurant helped make for a pleasant experience, but the food didn't quite justify the price.
