The pita was warm and soft, and the hummus was delicious. Lamb flatbread was spiced perfectly, too! On mains - we got the tagine braised short rib, and while the flavors were there, I think it was a little chewier than I'd like. But the market fish was *chefs kiss*! Cooked perfectly, little crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The rice that came with the fish was great, too, so it comes very highly recommended. On cocktails - I don't drink much, but decided to have a few sips for the night and the "Dama Blanca" and "Fig Bang Theory" were SO good. Overall - great place, great cocktails, great food. Came here with girlfriends on a Tuesday night -- we didn't have reservations and the inside was packed. Only option was their patio which was covered with shade and the absolute perfect breeze! We all started with drinks which i love their drink menu! Could they have any more options for you to choose from? I don't think so! My first drink i ordered was the sidecar and wow was that strong! Delicious though. My girlfriend also ordered it and agreed -- strong! The next drink we got was a raspberry gin drink again it was so delicious and refreshing but wasn't as strong. I looked at the menu online before going and I was very disappointed and dismissive because I thought this would be a Spain/Portugal themed restaurant but when I saw hummus and pita and fatoush I really didn't want to go. The word tapas was key, but I decided not to be critical to its origins and just say "why not call middle eastern mezza tapas instead?" because there are many shades of red and to say maroon is not red would cause disappointment and would be dismissive The place has a strange floor plan. It's like a rectangle dining room and a square bar area. The patio seems to be as large as the entire interior space. If there is a group of people walking in talking to the host stand then there isn't space for another group to enter to talk to the host stand so designate one person for your group to check in and just wait outside for them to exit or wave you in All. Of. The. Food. Was. Phenomenal! Holy wholes I was like whoa once the food started shuttling out. Across the group we must have ordered everything on the menu except desserts. The word tapas kept true with its sharing focus because each of these dishes was indeed sharable. The range of flavors across the menu was so wild and it is an enjoyable contrast. If the dish doesn't have a sauce smeared on the plate then you'll get ramekins with a mint-like pesto paste thing or a tomato relish pico thing and all of the sauces were intensely flavorful and a great accompaniment for all of the food. The whipped feta yogurt sauce under the mint cucumber dish was ssssssssssssssssssssinful omgeeeeeeeee Alcohol situation is probably the most comprehensive around the city with unique cocktails, classic cocktails, beer, wine, shots, and non-alcoholic alternatives(mocktails). The bloody Mary is not garnished at all; not even with one measly green olive, but it was probably the best bm I've had, but super strange that a skewer of something isn't garnishing the drink Waitstaff was all awesome despite how packed and chaotic the place seemed; they all crushed it with kindness, patience, and attention. I adore this place! I have been here many times and I had to right a review but every time I stop by to eat here it never fails to impress me. Their menu is very refreshing because it is really hard to find Mediterranean in Oklahoma let alone good Mediterranean too. I always try to get something new when I visit and so far I've had the scallops, skirt steak, lamb and chicken screwers. The skirt steak is my favorite but the others are great as well. We recently had our second visit here, and it once again lived up to the great experience we had the first time! We came for our anniversary last fall and for my husband's birthday this month. It's such a lovely place for a special occasion or if you're simply wanting to try a different take on Mediterranean cuisine! We have had great servers and feel very comfortable in the space. Funny enough we ended up at the same table we'd been at the first time, so of course it's now "our table." Most recently we had the lamb kofta flatbread, scallop risotto and roasted cauliflower. It was plenty for the two of us and so flavorful! I love that they use sumac seasoning like I'm used to from traditional Middle Eastern food. I am Lebanese after all! We all shared entrees. We had the braised lamb shank- which was so tender and flavorful- literally fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. We did the mezze trio for appetizer- which included the pita bread, two types of hummus and an eggplant based dip. So flavorful and the bread was very soft. We shared a salad and a main entree for dinner. We had the fattoush salad and the braised short rib. This was perfectly paired. The salad was light and refreshing while the braised rib was hearty and full of flavors. With being fairly new, and having just opened a week prior to our visit, we were thoroughly impressed. Met up for date night last night with another couple. I made reservations on Yelp, and was immediately seated at 6:30. The bar was busy and it took about 30mins to get our drinks after ordering. However, a manager came and bought our first round for us due to the delay. Thank you for that! We eventually ordered after deciding on the mezze dip trio, tajin short ribs, and tuna Niçoise salad. My friends ordered the chicken kebab and rack of lamb dish. The dip trio was my favorite. The red colored dip and warm fluffy pita bread was amazing! It was the perfect starter/snack. The tuna salad wasn't that good flavor wise but can't complain because everything was still fresh. The short ribs were delicious, just a little chewy and not as tender as I expected. We all shared and also tried our friends lamb chops, and the flavor in that dish was fire! Probably the best lamb chops we've ever had in the city. My friends chicken kebab was over cooked due to the chicken pieces being too tiny so, a manager came out and swapped her meal for another lamb chop dish. My guy was still munchie, and decided on getting the date cardamum cake. The cake was perfect, and tasted similar to a pumpkin cake. For drinks I had the only sparkling rosé by the glass here. Forgot the name of the brand so, that's why I'm describing it as such. I didn't really like it, tasted like there was soap mixed into my wine. Could have been not washed properly, or else that wine just wasn't good but I didn't mention it since it was on the house anyways. My French 75 however was the best French 75 I've had in the city. They have an extensive international wine selection which is amazing if you love wine! Service was exceptional from Julian. She took very good care of us, and was super sweet. She is definitely a gem here so, ask for her if you'd like great service! Overall, we had a wonderful experience. I wished we were seated in a booth, because it where we were seated (high top by the bar) it was way too loud, and the restaurant felt claustrophobic. Our table was way too small for all the food coming out, and just uncomfortable. I think it would have been better for two people, but not four. So, that's my only major complaint as to why I'm knocking a star off. They need to figure out how to better utilize their space, and turn the volume button down a notch. We had the following: Mezze Dip Trio- whipped eggplant / hummus / muhammara / fresh vegetables / house pita Our favorite was the eggplant and the muhammara. The eggplant was whipped to a smooth whipped feta texture- nice, creamy, and smoky in taste. The muhammara was perfect for my Indian taste (ground walnuts, red peppers etc). The hummus was good but the best part of the hummus was the crunchy chickpea topping. All three dips were served with the fluffiest and softest pita bread I've ever had in my life. So fluffy and airy that you could've mistaken them for clouds. Who knew pita could be made this way? Then we had the Lamb Chops- roasted tomato serrano labneh / turmeric rice / pomegranate molasses The Serrano shines through in the labneh with a nice kick and the lamb chops were deliciously cooked to perfection. Half of the bar was inside and half was patio outside which was nice and had heaters for us. Service was fast and great. We ended up getting the mezze trio dip which was amazing! The bar tender was our lead server, and he worked his tail off from initial drink order to final check.
