I am new to the city and ristorante Euno is the first place I tried since I moved. I honesty did not find it great, but just "ok". The place itself is small and the decor is minimal. However they do a great job maintaining social distancing by placing dividers btw table. There are few things that I like and other that I did not. What I like: They have a good selection of Italian wine and the prices are quite reasonable. The calamari fritti were pretty good! I really enjoyed their gnocchi with porcini and mushrooms.The chef does a good job with the sauce . The flavors of the Gorgonzola does not overwhelm the dish. What I did not like: The lobster ravioli dish was very disappointing. It was served with some grilled shrimps on the side and there were only 5 ravioli. I guess the lobster meat was inside the ravioli but we could not really taste it. The dish was served with a pick sauce that tasted like it came directly from a sauce jar. Very disappointing! Came here on a Thursday night with reservations. The place was packed so definitely recommend a reservation. We had a great experience at this fancy Italian restaurant in the North End. The complimentary bread was great. There were two types of bread plated and presented well. The olive oil was seasoned with rosemary I believe, so it gave a unique flavor to the dip. I appreciate this level of detail and the extra step to do something different, so I knew we were going to be in for a treat for the rest of the meal. For entrees, we ordered the specials, which I think were off-menu. I ordered the veal chop, and my friend ordered the swordfish. Both dishes were huge. The sauce on the veal chop was savory, cooked perfectly medium-rare, and topped off with vegetables and potatoes. My friend loved the swordfish dish at well. I was tempted into this restaurant because someone told my company that this was the best restaurant in the north end... I might have to disagree. The menu is very small, but the pasta was very good. The fish came with 5 potato wedges, so portions were skimpy for $30 (well seasoned potato though, so more potato would have been great). They are understaffed. Definitely one of the fancier restaurants in Boston's North End neighborhood, it's Italian and it seems like their main focus is on seafood dishes. Which is not to say that they don't have pastas and meats, but the menu items that jumped out for my colleague and I were the seafood. He chose a whitefish, which came with a bunch of grilled vegetables and a risotto. Tasty, he said. And he cleared the plate. I chose the monkfish and was really pleased not just with the consistency and flavor but there was also a nice spread of clams and shrimp with it, plus the grilled vegetables (Brussels sprouts, yum!) and risotto. Loved Euno! We made a reservation thankfully because the North End was incredibly crowded. We opted to sit downstairs in the wine cellar which was incredible! Sitting down there reminded us of our favorite restaurant in Florence, Italy. The food was superb. We started with a seasonal buffalo mozzarella salad, each had 1/2 orders or pasta. I had the gnocchi and my husband had the X. We opted to split the steak. We loved our pastas but would try a different protein next time. The steak was rather large and wasn't our favorite cut of meat. We split a bottle of wine at a reasonable price which was delicious. Our service was attentive as well. Was delighted to a four course meal in the downstairs wine cellar at Ristorante Euno! This is definitely the way to dine at another fantastic North End Italian restaurant. My friend reserved the cellar for her birthday party of about 20 people. The staff and owner were more than accommodating and happy to host our large group (even though we got a little loud after a few heavy pours of wine!) The cellar is a perfect spot for a dinner event. Now for the food... First course: Assorted Antipasti The staff brought around multiple apps for the tables with plenty of food for everyone to try. We had the deliciously crispy calamari fritti, a cheese and charcuterie plate, and my favorite -- the meatballs! They melted in your mouth. Second course: Pasta! 2 dishes to try Okay truly this was my favorite course of the night. I could have ate an entire pot of the Gnocchi con Funghi. It was one of the best pasta dishes I've had in the North End -- just imagine tasting gorganzola, mushrooms and truffle oil in a cream sauce with potato pillows... drooling again just thinking about it. We also got the Rigatoni Fatti in Casa which is roasted eggplant over thicker noodles in a red sauce. It was also very tasty, but my mind was already set on getting as much gnocchi as possible on my plate. Third course: Entree We had a choice of 4 options for an individual entree. The sirloin steak (Bistecca Euno) was a popular option, but the waiter gave a glowing recommendation of the daily peppercrusted tuna special so I had to go with that. He was not wrong, it stood alone as a knockout dish. Served with rice and green beans, it was a filling dish cooked perfectly. Fourth course: Obviously dessert! We had an assortment of treats come out for dessert. The creme brûlée... just amazing. The cannoli was also delicious. Oh and the flourless chocolate cake, yummm. On top of that, several of us finished with an espresso martini. Great way to end the night! Throughout the whole dinner we constantly had staff checking on us and refilling our glasses. It's totally fine. We headed in with a big family on the night Italy won the Euros. The whole North End was popping. Our waiter was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable--you wouldn't know he was frantically busy. It's cozily lit. Tables close together. God I love this place. I set up my graduation dinner here. So glad I chose this place after debating between here and restaurant fiore. Fiore was unhelpful and unwilling to allow me to a book a certain table 2.5 months in advance. Additionally, I had a friend who chose Fiore and he came out of the experience with a horror story involving a manager cursing off his mother. Anyway, some details about Euno... The servers were extremely accommodating and made some great recommendations. One of the things I love about this place is that the menu is always changing so it is hard to make a good recommendation. However, menu items worth checking out include lobster ravioli, zuppe de pesce (can be made with white or red sauce), and swordfish. I always go for the artichokes stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in prosciutto. I truly believe that you cant go wrong with with any of their seafood choices. They get their fish delivered fresh daily and at times may even be out of certain items. But whatever they do have on hand, their chef works his magic and the food has never come out anything short of delicious. I recently tried their creme brulee for desert. Honestly, it was better than I have experienced at some very high rated french restaurants. They use a layer of Bacardi 151 to light it on fire right before your eyes. I would definitely get this again. I will continue to dine and recommend this place as my favorite restaurant in the north end. read more

One of the best places I have been for sure. Super friendly staff who takes care of all your needs. We started with the fresh bread they give out, as well as two glasses of wine that the waiter recommended. We put in an appetizer of the artichoke which was to DIE for. One of the best things I have ever tried. We then got the swordfish special (ALWAYS ASK FOR THE SPECIALS! There are so many and all sounded great. ) and the gnocchi with mushrooms. HUGE portion - crunchy edges, plenty of cheese, but not too much where you can't taste the chicken. A drizzle of fresh marinara, but not enough to drench it. Pasta on the side was cooked perfectly Al Dente - no complaints about this dish. Perfectly executed. 3. The Limoncello. WOW - you HAVE to get this! My boyfriend and I went to Ristorante Euno this past Saturday night for dinner, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! We were seated in the lower level, which has the appearance of a classy wine cellar. The exposed brick, fireplace, and dim lighting gave the area a very romantic feel. We started with their classic caprese salad appetizer which consisted of big juicy wedges of tomato, and creamy slices of mozzarella. In lieu of the typical fresh basil leaves, there was a basil-infused olive oil drizzle which added a creative twist to the classic dish. I ordered the linguine and clams for my entree, which to be honest, were not the best linguine and clams I've ever had but were delicious none the less. There were a generous number of clams, very fresh in taste, atop a bed of perfectly al dente linguine, smothered in a garlicky white wine sauce. Whole, roasted garlic cloves were scattered throughout the dish which is something I have never seen done before, and thought it brought a great element of flavor to the dish. My boyfriend ordered the seafood special that consisted of swordfish, mussels, clams, and shrimp over a bed of parmesan risotto. Each type of seafood was very flavorful and cooked perfectly, which shows that you can't go wrong with ordering any kind of seafood at Euno. Our server was friendly and very educated with the menu. He was able to answer any questions we had, and made great recommendations. The bus boy was also extremely attentive and cleared our dishes the minute we finished eating, and kept our water glasses full the entire time. We felt much taken care of during our entire meal. Our server listed off an excessively long list of specials (that sounded great) but was very hard to remember because he was talking so fast. We didn't really know who our waiter really was because we were helped by three or four people which caused confusion with a few things during the evening. Now for the food. I ordered the sirloin with risotto and asparagus. Being a fine dining establishment I expected much more flavor from the steak and the risotto was too salty. Wow. This is so close to a 5. I went with my wife and parents. The food was excellent. Service was great. The waiter was more than knowledgeable about the food and wine pairing. My mom had the pomodoro which had fresh tomatoes and the sauce was fantastic. My dad had the halibut special which he said was the best halibut he's ever had which is very unlike him. My wife had the lamb special and she loved it. I had the bolognese and it was the best I had in the city. Will definitely go back. Great atmosphere inside but no outdoor seating. Make a reservation.
