Spicy margarita was amazing, very small for $16. Ground beef taco. Non cooked tortilla, the green salsa was store bought and not spicy.

The service was amazing, I was expecting a Mexican place but it was for sure a dive bar. They make some great margaritas and they don't use store bought juices which is great! The tacos are happy hour buy 2 get one free but they are very high priced. The corn tortilla was not even cooked.. just out of the bag which was weird to me.. I'm not from Colorado so I was hoping for street tacos but once you have some drinks you'll want to try the beer battered fish taco for sure. I with they didn't have to have it battered for GLUTEN FREE, but the beef is good! Cute little small bar with a few tables. They have interesting signs up that are funny, great place to hangout with a friend and get a quick drink. Just bring $$$$$$$ it's expensive! $16 margaritas and they are pretty small. I wish they had frozen margarita machines.

Margaritas were way better than food. The $20 one with the floater and fresh OJ was great. The rice and beans which they forgot, but then remembered we're miserable. Tacos were mostly mid with not enough meat choices. Drink here, but good guacamole.

Nice patio to people watch. Happy hour was a pretty ok deal: $5 tequila pour, buy 2 (of exactly the same) tacos and get one free. The pork tacos were just ok. The pork seasoning was a little strange with an imbalance of flavors. It was a little soggy. The salsa trio was the also just ok. The medium salsa has a flavor imbalance. Of good note: GUACAMOLE was great. Chips were good Happy hour Location They have MALORT if that's your thing. Nice place for drinks, and the food will fill you, but it will just whelm you. In short, if you want a nice place to hang

    Bison Calle DC tacos

If you're in downtown Breck, this taqueria and bar is a must-visit! The Bison Calle DC taco with its double shell and queso is hands-down our favorite--absolutely delicious. The house margaritas are strong, citrusy, and pair perfectly with their impressive variety of tequila. While the spot is on the smaller side, it's just the right size for the area. The service is consistently excellent--friendly, approachable, and efficient. With its chill vibes and great food, this place is a gem!

This is a really great tequila and mezcal bar located downstairs from Kenosha on Main Street in Breckenridge. The music is loud, but you can still have a conversation. There's a bar as well as tables. Happy hour is twice per day, 11-1 and 4-6. They serve tacos, chips and salsa, and burritos. They even have a couple of desserts. The bartender, Jesse, knows a lot about all the tequilas and mezcals that they have. The drinks are always perfect; and you can do some fancy shots as well! Friendly staff! You won't be disappointed!

We came in for happy hour and dinner after a day of skiing. Service was good very friendly. Food was solid. Nothing spectacular. We got the happy hour tacos, which were supposed to be on special buy two to get one at a discount but the way we ordered and they rang it we ended up getting overcharged, but instead of saying anything I just went on about my way. The margaritas were solid. Not sure we'll be back as the food was adequate but not great.

We went in on St Patrick's day. We started at a table but moved to the bar. Drinks were great! Food was great! Bartenders (Joe & Anders) were awesome!!

We stopped in for drinks - which were really great! The Pura Vida margaritas was my personal fav. They said everything is fresh squeezed, and you can definitely taste the difference! Staff were very friendly. Cute spot!

Well the place was cool and they are a really solid selection of tequila. Seems like a cool place to grab a drink but the food leaves a lot to be desired. The chicken tacos were blah and even the chips and guacamole were sub-average. Cool spot to grab a drink but maybe grab food elsewhere

Coming from Texas, my family has high expectations when it comes to margaritas and tacos, and this place was freaking amazing!!!! Not only was the food amazing, the service was even better! Freshly squeezed lime juice for the margaritas put them at the top of the list for me. The ground beef on the nachos was so tender and flavorful, and it came with so much! The burrito is huge and the tacos were filled with so much meat. Texas approved! This place is great!!

LOVE it here This is the best, friendliest and most sincere staff in town. I start with this info as it is super important to me that I get happy service. Taco Oh Hell yes!!!! Best and probably the cheapest tacos in town. Margaritas are their jam!! They all know their stuff. Lots of regular cocktails/Margs on their menu but they are always making up great new creations too. Next time your there have the Gardiablo or the E-Spicy. Tell them you want it Donna's way though !! Hahaha they will probably growl but will make it and you'll love it

We absolutely loved the atmosphere! The staff of fun, helpful and made our evening! We went to another restaurant nearby and waited 20 min with no one to greet or wait on us. We came in here and we were treated professionally, kindly and the food was fantastic!!! From the front of the house to the back, great restaurant. And the fashionable in Breckinridge was outstanding.

After an entire day of professionally pretending to be an extrovert with roughly 100 coworkers,…read moreacquaintances, colleagues, conference people, and whatever corporate title we're all calling ourselves this fiscal year, my lovely introverted former rebel and I made eye contact and simultaneously declared, Absolutely not!! We promptly escaped the conference dinner like two raccoons fleeing a well lit parking lot and wandered into Breckenridge in search of food, freedom, and emotional support carbohydrates. Then, We smelled it. Not saw it. Smelled it. It was smoky. Meaty. Chargrilled. Whatever magical scented wizardry was floating through downtown grabbed me by the nostrils and whispered, come hither, little goblin. Come hither! I didn't know what was cooking. I didn't care. I just started following my stomach like it was using GPS. (Which somehow led us behind everything,to what looked like a giant boat, I think it was a boat.) Surrounded by what I can only describe as a moat, a pond? At this point I had accepted that I might be entering some kind of burger themed medieval side quest. The place was absolutely unhinged. Every table? Full. The bar? Absolutely feral. The kitchen? Launching plates at people like they were trying to qualify for NASCAR. Servers were speed walking with the thousand-yard stare of people who had answered, can I get ranch, approximately 4,000 times that day. This experience is iconic. Not because it's polished. Because it's beautifully, gloriously, unapologetically chaotic. We were offered seats outside at the bar. (Or wait indefinitely.) Perfect. I have never once said, actually, I'd prefer to remain hungry. Just feed me. While waiting, I noticed people throwing food into the moat. Naturally my first thought was, oh look, a local ritual. Turns out the moat is full of giant fish that everyone feeds while waiting for dinner. Honestly? That somehow makes complete sense here. No notes. Now... The food. My dyed-in-the-wool punk rock companion committed the least punk thing imaginable, He ordered (drum roll). The classic cheeseburger. I had dreams of culinary rebellion. Sighhh. Instead, the man entered complete burger-induced silence. There were no words. Only nodding. And a series of deeply spiritual Mmmm...noises. If you've ever eaten with someone who suddenly forgets language exists, you already know that burger absolutely slapped. Meanwhile, I ordered the Baja shrimp tacos. Listen, whoever was responsible for portioning the shrimp deserves a raise. They did NOT come to play. The shrimp were plentiful, the queso fresco tied everything together perfectly, and every bite had me forgetting I'd been waiting at all. Zero regrets. Let's address the elephant wearing a Yelp account. "The wait was too long." Respectfully... Have you SEEN this place? It is getting absolutely steamrolled from open to close. The staff isn't standing around ignoring you. They're performing what can only be described as an extreme sport. Give these people a little grace. Order a drink. Feed the fish. Better yet BRING something to feed the fish. Watch the controlled chaos unfold. Become one with the madness. The wait isn't part of the inconvenience... It's part of the entertainment. Final verdict? Ollie's has officially been added to my personal Chaos Goblin Hall of Fame. If you're looking for quiet, intimate fine dining where someone whispers the specials? This ain't your place. But if you enjoy incredible food, organized mayhem, a boat in a moat full of fish, a dining room powered almost entirely by adrenaline, and an atmosphere that somehow feels like a backyard barbecue, a rock concert, and family reunion all happened at once?? Go. Lean into the chaos. Feed the fish. Order the tacos. Trust the smell. You'll understand. I would absolutely drive back just for the tacos and the beautiful, burger-scented fever dream that is Ollie's.

The food came out quickly, tasted good, and the service was fast for most of our visit. The only things that stood out were that we were seated upstairs while we had a stroller with our toddler. Our server headed upstairs without asking if we needed a hand carrying it, or an elevator, which felt a little odd. It wasn't a huge deal, but a quick offer to help would have gone a long way. The only other hiccup was at the end of the meal. Everything moved quickly until we were ready to pay. we waited about 15 minutes for our check, which felt a little longer than expected. Overall, those were pretty minor issues compared to the rest of the experience. Great vibes, good food, and we'd definitely come back the next time we're in Breckenridge.

***TREVOR NEEDS A RAISE***…read more I had an awesome experience at Breckenridge Tap House. Right when we walked in the whole place just had a super relaxed vibe. There was no wait at all, which is pretty rare in Breckenridge, especially during ski season. We got seated right away and everything felt easy from the start. It was the kind of place where you can just kick back after a day on the mountain and grab some good food. Our waiter Trevor was an absolute chiller. Seriously one of the most laid-back and friendly servers I've had in a while. He came over right away, brought us waters, and just had a super good attitude the whole time. Instead of rushing through everything like some places do, he actually talked with us and made the whole experience feel way more personal. One thing we really appreciated was how cool he was about the menu. My son wanted to order off the kids menu and Trevor had no issue with it at all. He didn't make it weird or complicated, he just said no problem and took the order. Little things like that go a long way and made the whole meal way smoother. The food also came out really fast and everything we got was solid. Trevor kept checking in at the perfect times and made sure our waters stayed full without being annoying about it. He also talked with us about skiing and the conditions around Breckenridge, which was cool because we had just been out on the mountain. It felt like talking to someone who actually enjoys the town and the people coming through. The best part was honestly after we left. We accidentally forgot something at the table and didn't realize until we were already outside. When we came back, Trevor was literally waiting with it ready to give it back to us. That kind of thing doesn't happen everywhere. Overall the service was great, the food came out fast, and Trevor was an absolute chiller the entire time. I'd definitely come back here again.

Walking in on a cold February day, the mood and ambiance were warm and inviting. The downstairs bar was lively, and the wood ceiling and decor definitely gave off a classic aged lodge feel. We were seated upstairs per our Yelp reservations. A collection of canteens hung on the wall, which sparked a fun conversation and history lesson for my twins. Since they're part of the CamelBak and Stanley cup generation, they hadn't seen anything like them before. My son was impressed by the size of the kids' burger, and the fries were great. The rest of us had the NY Strip. I'd say it was good, but not great--though I did appreciate the blackened seasoning and the chimichurri. The grilled asparagus, however, was simply fantastic. The showstopper was the upside-down apple pie with what seemed to be homemade vanilla ice cream. Both were generous portions and kindly comped by our server for my birthday. I ordered my standard Ranch Water, though it unfortunately didn't come in their traditional canteen cup. Overall, it's a great spot. I look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Colorado.
