I have visited this Rite Aid for years. The employees always greet me with a hello. They are so friendly, respectful and professional. Todays visit was to obtain 2 vaccines I needed. The consents for the vaccines could not be found by the fill in Pharmacist. As I left, Manny asked me to wait. Manny went to the back of the store and printed more consent forms. I was able to leave with the needed/requested vaccines today. I am so thankful to Manny for going beyond the call of duty and making sure that my visit to Rite Aid was exceptional. I felt not only relieved, but also cared for. I also received a $5 reward for purchases $25 or more for getting a flu vaccine. Manny made sure I had this discount with the purchases I made. This Rite Aid is pretty bad. They have outrageous wait times and the staff is rude and incompetent. Good parking lot, if people knew how to park. They never have medication ready and forget about trying to get someone on the phone. read more

This pharmacy is sub par. They answer the phone maybe 1/10 times, if lucky, and there are constant issues with how long it takes them to fill my prescriptions. There are also constant issues with coverage, which should never be a problem and is always due to them billing the wrong place. The only decent thing about this pharmacy is all the parking. Overall it's extremely frustrating to come here and the only reason I do is because it's so close to my apartment that any other place would be more of an inconvenience. Do yourself a favor and don't come here if you don't have to. This pharmacy is scamming people out of money big time!! They need to get sued!!! They are short changing ppl's prescriptions and then charging them extra money to get refills because they give them half the amount that's prescribed on the bottles!!! My husband has to take cortisone to stay alive!!' His prescription (it says on the bottle) calls for a quantity of 120 pills. He counted them this time and there were 70!!!!!! In the past he went to get a refill and they charged him extra $50 and told him he has been coming in too early!!!!! He takes his dosage just as prescribed there's no way he should be running out!! He's not the only one there was one day he was there and they did this to three other customers!!'n you better count your pills when you go here because it's highly likely they aren't giving you all your pills!!! He had to go one week without them and his body was basically calmly shutting down!!! Someone please open up a lawsuit!!!! Terrible!!! My dentist called to prescribe me antibiotics, talked to a lady called Rina I believe, when I went to pick it up they said there is nothing with my name for pickup. I go to my dentist to pick up the prescription in paper the next day, so I can fill it in person at the pharmacy. They took it. Then a few hours later I get a text message saying my insurance denied it because "it's too soon", meaning they won't cover it because they see the same prescription was filled yesterday, except Rite Aid says it's not in their system, and the person who took the order is not available either to explain. I then tried to call the pharmacy to find out what was going on, they kept hanging up on me. I called my insurance, Blue Shield, they called Rite Aid to clarify and they also kept on hanging up on them. Even they got pissed and recommended me to change pharmacies. This is on the worst experiences I had with any pharmacy, ever, and I come from a third world country. read more

I'm bummed that I didn't catch the name of the friendliest guy that helped me and my family at the ice cream area. He was so sweet and he was so great with my lil one. Earlier in the day my lil one asked her Papa if she could take him out for ice cream. It was the sweetest thing. When we were at Rite Aid, she asked him what he wanted and we let her order. The clerk took his time in asking her questions, and waiting for her responses. I was SO glad the employee was so patient with her. My lil one is a tad speech delayed and so she's not only shy but can sometimes be a lil tough to understand unless you're really paying attention. That was the case with the employee. He was so patient and was listening closely. He asked if she wanted a cone or a cup, one scoop or two, etc. After he got the ice cream that my lil one ordered for her Papa he then took her order. It was so nice of him to take that much time with her. When it came time to pay, my daughter waited for the total, gave the clerk her (our) money and waited for the change. She said her thank you and everything. I cannot thank the employee who helped us enough. He really made my lil one's night. She had such a great time ordering ice cream, paying, waiting for her change and receipt, the whole 9. I was walking around the store shortly after having gotten our ice cream. I didn't find the items that I was looking for. I didn't get ANY help from anyone else although I was looking to see if there were any other employees around that would be able to help me. I do NOT AT ALL care for this store for anything else. I haven't been able to get prescriptions filled here. They always seem to be out of stock of the things that I need. They have a lot of disgruntled customers, all the time. The clerks in the front are not the friendliest. I have asked for help with different items and nobody was willing to help me. So, I can understand why this store has the horrible ratings that it does. I have first handedly experienced the same horrible attitude and lack of customer service. It stinks. So, the only reason I come here anymore is because it is close to our usual grocery store and because my lil one likes their ice cream. The rite aid in Glendale California is the absolute worst!! There needs to be new management, a revamp, or something! It's ALWAYS backed up. I don't have 45 mins to an hour to wait for a prescription that should be ready the same day if it's sent in the morning! The line is ALWAYS crazy long. I always go to this rite aid for my moms prescriptions but this time I went in for my covid vaccine shot. The workers were very friendly and the pharmacist was not only friendly but helpful when I came to asking my questions. I was in and out of that place so quickly. Didn't even feel the shot. I would recommend anyone needing to get there vaccine to just make your appointment there. And if you do happen to have to wait a few minutes don't make an issue and just wait. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! Dropped off my underwater camera film to be developed on Monday. According to the pick up chart my film should have been ready on Thursday, I went in on the following Monday and it wasn't ready. That manager assured me Ill be called when its ready to be picked up.. apparently it takes 7-10 days. Now.. the following Monday, 14 days later I have received no call so I called myself. Asked if he could check if my film is ready to be picked up. He replied with,"Let me transfer you to the pharmacy so they can check on that." Before I could correct him (thinking he heard incorrectly) I was hung up on. I called back.. and was told,"Your pictures are ready, the total is $9.32. Anything else you need?" This Rite Aid is the one I always go to for over 15 years. I like that it's clean and the remodeling they've done inside. I used to live in Glendale for 25 years and moved to Pasadena and still drive down to this rite aid. That's the last time I do that. The women Asian pharmacist is a completely rude person. She clearly hates her job and HATES being there and dealing with customers. I asked her a question and her rude response left me stunned. OMG why is the pharmacy line always so freakin long!!! The employees are sweet... They get it. They try. There just isn't enough of them and they get snagged up with some people and oO boy ...you're going to be there for a while. I always get prescriptions here and lately a whooping cough shot. Someone ahead of me always decides to get dramatic with the employees and make things take longer. Doc writes the prescription, they fill it. Have a problem with your prescription take it up with your doc. Have a problem with cost, take it up with your insurance. Just for the love of gawd ...keep things moving. This Rite Aid has been my go to since I was old enough to walk there alone , some of my fondest childhood memories involve this rite aid but as of late the pharmacy is what I have needed to use and unfortunately the pharmacist there is sadly misinformed he believes he is allowed to speak to people however which way he pleases ... he abuses his authority and belittles patients he has absolutely no bed side manner and quite frankly bullies his pharmaceutical peers he blatantly states that " they don't know anything they are just technicians" he drug shames patients out loud and falsely denies claims through insurance he tried tearing the portion that clearly showed he didn't run it through my medical and when I asked for it he then gave it to me I went through my paperwork and since August I was eligible for dual insurance coverage and still am he just didn't want to use it and after I made my argument he stated I would get a refund in the mail .... I had my prescription called in and went to pick it up and the lady at the register said its like $79.00 and I said was my insurance not applied she said no you don't have insirance . Like really I have been going there for over 5 years with the same God dam insurance and she tells me I HAVE NO INSURANCE what kind of service is that. Wow this is u real. Well after long 8 hr drive and checking in to hotel pretty late the misses takes shower and the hotel shampoo and conditioner does not agree with her yea. I had search discover and share. And thank you rite aid. Growing up in Los Angela's makes me no stranger to rite aid. But one I went to as kid was not 24/7. I like Rite Aid compared to Walgreens and CVS because they remodeled their stores recently. I'm telling you, that shit goes a long way. Because otherwise, all those places are the same. They all sell the same thing, but Walgreens and CVS make me depressed with their blank decor and sterile florescent lighting. Rite Aid has nice wood trim and pleasant mood lighting. I think it's trying to seduce me into buying stuff. It worked. Rite Aid is also superior to Walgreens and CVS because they have Thrifty's ice cream. Thrifty also used to be a pharmacy chain back in the day, but they must have got bought out by Rite Aid. That must've been a bitch, huh? Getting bought out? Although maybe Rite Aid bought Thrifty's just for their ice cream because that shit is worth it. It's the best ice cream you'll ever have, albeit that opinion is tinged with the nostalgia of my childhood. I remember making the short walk to Thrifty in the 100 degree summer heat and being too broke to buy ice cream. I'd just watch other people buy it and pretend I had some, too. The best flavor (in my imagination) was mint chip. Well, when I finally got my hands on some money through kicking ass at dice games at school, I bought me some mint chip at Thrifty's, and it didn't disappoint. It's also dope that their ice cream comes in a cool cylinder shape due to the scoop thing they use. It makes it taste better. Trust me. It's like an ice cream gun that they load with the flavor you want and shoot it into a cup or cone. You should get a cone, though. It'll make it taste better. read more

I don't tend to leave bad reviews but do not waste your time trying to get anything from the pharmacy here. They take forever, the staff won't even look at you until they feel like it. They give vague and false reasons as to why certain meds can't be picked up. In my case they said the meds couldn't be picked up until the next day only to find out the meds couldn't be picked up at all because there were no available refills. Why make things up?? Why say all the meds were available and ready to be picked up if there were two missing? It's unfortunate and frustrating that this is one of few 24 hr pharmacies available. read more
