I've found the Pharmacy staff here to be very helpful and relatively quick as well. I order my meds on the Rite Aid website and go in to pick them up once I've received a message that they're ready and waiting for me. I think that if you did have to wait around for a prescription to be filled that it would take a while. But then every pharmacy that I've ever been to takes quite a while to fill prescriptions if you're waiting for them. I suspect most of them have minimal staff and they're filling a lot of orders. My tip would be to avoid waiting in the store by ordering on the Rite Aid website in advance. The rest of the store is not the largest Rite Aid, but with the exception of the Papyrus cards (that often have depleted stock levels), the store is clean and stocked well enough. If at all possible, I try to avoid this Rite Aid and its pharmacy Every single time I go, most of the shelves are empty with a few random products here and there. I have no idea how they stay in business without items to sell. Look at the photos of typical aisles. You would never waste your time going there knowing aisles are mostly empty and you would be lucky to get what you want (and then might as well play Lotto with that kind of luck) But for some reason the refrigerated drink section and hard alcohol are always fully stocked. And there are NOT any signs saying they are remodeling or "be patient with us while we." It is hard to find an employee if you need help, so I always have to go to the cashier since no one is around. The cashiers are always super friendly. Maybe they are just happy to have something to do and get to interact with another human since I cannot imagine they get much business with a store that REGULARLY looks like it was cleared out as part of some disaster related hoarding. -----PHARMACY---- Called to see if they were open since we just had storms and they had been closed as a result, and they were very rude. I asked if the prescription was called in (yes) and if it could be ready that day. In a very annoyed and irritated voice, she responded "we are 2 days behind on all prescriptions. If people would stop calling to see if we are open, then maybe we could actually get them done." Wow. I explained it was for my sister who was in the ER the day before and we needed the meds to make sure she did not end back up in the ER and if she could just make sure they has the meds in stock. She was still short with me but looked it up and they had it. Later, when my sister got a text that it was ready, I went in to pick it up. There was more attitude and the employees not wanting to go out of their way (although my asks were in the scope of their jobs) to actually help me solve the situation. I will save you those details By the time I got my prescription, I was so beat-down by the experience that I forgot to ask for a pharmacist to help me understand the meds and, big surprise, they did not offer. Which means I had to call once home, taking more of my valuable time to ask questions that they could not fully answer and were not helping me problem solve what the solutions could be. Soooooo, if you want to an experience of how NOT to run a business as a lesson, go to this store. Otherwise, find another drug store that 1) actually has products in stock and 2) hopefully nice employees who are competent and willing to actually help figure things out when they are not black and white. I doubt a manager will even respond to this post. Besides, what are they going to say other than "sorry you had a bad experience like most other customers. There is no way that any time soon, we can correct all of these critical business issues. Sorry. It sucks for us too. This rite aid has helped me so many times when I'm in a pinch. Whether I needed a small snack or a drink I'm always able to grab what I need and checkout. I've lucked out quite a few times with their seasonal home garden supplies. They usually have some solid deals and coupons throughout the store. Parking isn't the best because the lot is shared with multiple businesses but that doesn't hold me back. read more

I've been coming here for a few years and some of the pharmacy staff is knowledgeable and helpful. There is one pharmacy cashier who has no communication skills & as a result I am often left with a lot of confusion and questions. She speaks very fast and talks over you when you answer her questions. I'm not sure if it's the pharmacy or the our medical / insurance system at this point, but something is not working at this point of contact at Rite-Aid. I meet with my doctor yearly and have received a certain medication for 20+ years. I have never had the trouble refilling it monthly like I've had with this rite-aid in Woodinville in the past few years. There are too many issues to count. After giving this staff the benefit of the doubt time and time again, I am done. They can't seem to fill my two regular prescriptions (one for me and one for my daughter) accurately and they keep saying that I need to contact my doctor. Today, a woman behind me in line started butting in when I asked the stoic cashier why they only refilled 2 of my 33 day supply and I was given, "you'll need to talk to your doctor" as an answer. Lady behind me shouts, "you could ask her that a little more politely!" Little did the woman behind me in line know that I had called at 10am that morning to ensure my prescription would be filled and was expecting my medication. She also didn't know that I couldn't fill it when everything shut down for three days and then I flew out for thanksgiving with no medication for the last 7 days! Hello! How is this humane?! To the lady behind me: please mind your own business. I am planning at my next doctor appointment, which happens to be next week, (hooray!) to move all my scripts to Target. They are open longer hours and don't close down from the storms. At least I can start with some positives at a new place. Fingers crossed they are not broken like Rite -Aid is. Stopped by for some shoe insoles and received such good customer service I left with floss and some prints! The first associate showed me how to use the photo kiosk and almost instantly got my prints. The quality is to be expected with the speed but regardless it's an awesome feature. The second associate was helping customers quickly while also delivering great customer service. Both associates customer service skills were worth noting about! Pharmacy is very unprofessional and rude. I called to get a prescription filled and they asked me questions so I told them to contact my Dr.'s office which they said they would call them and call me back with an update. Well, I never heard from them so I went in and asked the pharmacist if they spoke to my Doctor. The pharmacist proceeded to yell at me, stating they were not going to fill my prescription (which I have been coming there for over a year!). I said okay very politely. THEN the pharmacist proceeded to try to embarrass me by going line by line with all my prescriptions yelling at me the medication names, this was during a busy time with about 9 people all waiting by the pharmacy for their meds. What happened to HIPPA laws?? I stopped her as soon as I could and told her I didn't mind going to a different pharmacy and then turned around and left. I have never EVER been treated so inhumanely and rude by a pharmacy before. As soon as I got back home I started transferring ALL of my prescriptions (and I have recurring cancer so there is a lot) to a different pharmacy. Save yourself the headache, gas, and embarrassment and go to a different pharmacy. CVS may be understaffed but they were never rude to me like this before. Shame on them for treating someone with cancer like that. read more

Really bad customer service from the pharmacist. She filled my rx incorrectly then got argumentative and mean, and told me to go somewhere else. She tried to make up an excuse but it didn't make sense, she was obviously lying. I've never been treated this poorly in my life. This place is horrible! I recommend not using them. They almost consistantly cause problems for a very simple prescription, my doctor orders a 90 day dosage, they refused to fill the prescription for more that 30 days. Then after a few months, it is now okay for them to fill it for 90 days as prescribed by my doctor. Their texting service claims my prescription is ready, when I go in it is not, and they need to contact my doctor. The last time I paid for my drugs, is cost under $12 or so. This time they charged me $50. I gave them my GoodRx account and according to GoodRx the cost should be around $12. I feel ripped off. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. I went after work to get some cold medication. I had my backpack on me and went to the aisle. I saw an associate sprinting towards me and was glad that help was on the way as I had a questions anyway. To my surprise I was told that my backpack is not allowed in the store and I had to check it in with the register. I was not comfortable doing that as they did not have a secure place and the floor was not sanitary. On my way out I saw some women with large bags who were not stopped. Not sure what they have against customers with backpacks. I can understand if this was a Seattle downtown business which by the way allows backpacks. Never plan to go here again. read more

3 people in the back, 1 on the register, multiple people in line...need I say more? Management: shadow Rite Aid at Totem Lake: they keep people moving...AND they have a drive through to boot! The one person on the register I suspect is new and not realizing that she's getting stuck with all the cashiering...but the worst part is people who are actually not feeling good are waiting unnecessarily longer than needed because the surely busy staff won't keep the line moving by using the second register available to them. read more

This is regarding the unprofessional pharmacy. Went to get our RSV vaccine as walk-ins. No customers present, plenty of online appts. and walk-ins accepted as per website. Staff behind pharmacy counter greeted us with a sucker in her mouth (!?!) as another person in back complained about working alone that evening. We were given a clipboard with form to complete for immunization. A person in back said no, there are no walk-ins, we must schedule on line -- we could take a seat, log in on our phone and go through the scheduling / registration process. Needless to say we walked out (primarily due to unprofessional behavior) and drove to a different pharmacy where we experienced professional and helpful staff service. We will NEVER return to Rite Aid or any pharmacy that handles something important as medications, vaccinations, etc. with such unprofessional behavior and a lack of customer service. Note: Contacted 1-800 RiteAid customer service who apologized and gave some excuse for the store website indicating walk-ins accepted, and acknowledged staff behavior was not acceptable. We were told told we would hear from the DISTRICT/REGIONAL RITE AID PHARMACY manager. Never heard from pharmacy manager, however, STORE manager called and listened and apologized, however, I may be wrong, but I don't believe store manager oversees pharmacy. I am just not a fan of Rite Aids. They don't carry much and damnit their pharmacists are jerks. We get it, you hold the keys to our playground but whats the deal with the short answers and judgmental looks. I just need to know if what you are handing me is going to kill me. ok? No need to stare at me like I am a sinner. Why are you doing what you do for a living? Anyways. Last time I was there I was on the hunt for a wrist brace. I self medicate in all other areas of my life, so why not when I can't move my hand with out tears streaming down my face. Their selection was ok... they didn't have the size I needed in the brand I wanted but I bought it anyways. Once I got home I realized my fat hand really was not going to squeeze into a small (always the bridesmaid). I returned it to a different location with no problems. Now I can write this review as if I code all day. If you are coming here purely for alcohol related purposes, you are one smart individual. They sell alcohol (beer) pretty damn cheap. Rite Aid: Stop with the weird slanted, mis shaped aisles and focus on beer and drug sales. The seasonal bullshit you sell is tacky, and the snack section blows. And just to make everyone feel better, I feel the same way about Walgreens pharmacists. read more

After recent experiences with the abysmal customer service here, I think an update is in order, as two stars is simply too high. If anything, the store seems even more poorly staffed (both in quantity and quality of help) than it did last year. It is nearly impossible to find assistance on the sales floor, and checking out is usually an ordeal. Be warned that the "Load2Card" digital coupons do NOT currently work; on both of my recent visits, I had coupons that should have applied but did not. When I asked about the $2 Load2Card coupon that failed to apply this time (on 2 Secret deodorants), the cashier had never heard of the program, and wasn't listening well enough let me explain it to her, instead assuming I was misunderstanding the "+UP" program. After I told her a couple of times that that wasn't what I was talking about, she rudely told me she would "call a manager so that they could explain it to me." The manager did know what I was talking about, confirmed that I had a loaded coupon that should have activated, and even still the rude cashier was trying to argue (to both me and the manager!) that I was the one who didn't know what I was talking about. I eventually received a $2 gift card to compensate for the missing coupon, so the situation did get somewhat resolved. Still, the only reason I can see to subject yourself to the level of rude and incompetent customer service you'll find here is if you want to take advantage of a really good sale and can't travel to a better-run Rite Aid location (such as the one in Bothell that has a 4-star rating at the moment)--this one should be considered a last resort. read more

It's about your standard Rite-Aid, I suppose, haha. The items mainly sold are drugstore items, those being: "personal care" products, soaps, shampoos, OTC medicines, and novelty items (toys, greeting cards, etc.). Towards the holidays they carry the traditional items, like decorations, gift wrap, and whatever's traditionally associated with the holiday. They also have "light food", essentially, it's good for picking up a few basic things, but beyond the staples, better luck at the Albertson's next door. I can't speak to the pharmacy, I've never really used it, in all honesty. What I can speak to is the layout, which they love changing, for some odd, perverse reason. It takes some time to get used to it, and once you do; they change it. It's a little irksome, admittedly. Too, the non-humidity of the store combined with fluorescent lighting makes for a cool shopping environment, haha. :P Overall, if you need some drug store-ish items, want to save some money, and encounter a navigation challenge, this be your place. This pharmacy and the staff who work there are terrific. They earned my loyalty a few years ago when I had some unknown medical issues that often involved numerous medication changes. They were quick to respond to the changes and preordered one special medication so it would always be available. They are always friendly and available to answer any questions I have. They are a big help for those of us on Medicare who may change their insurance every year. I really like being able to order my prescriptions and receive a text when their ready. Great place and good people to work with! read more

No Stars! First let me say I have been a customer with this pharmacy since 2007. While I know that in this day and age that is not a long time. While this pharmacy has always been a little problematic it is now one of the worst I have ever been used. I have had the pharmacy argue about filling a RX that my doctor provided for my child. I have repeated been unable to fill prescriptions on the day of due to them no having the item. I have periodically had to wait extremely long periods of time, sometimes after receiving a text that states my RX was ready for pick up. But after today I will not be using this pharmacy unless it is a life and death emergency. I asked my husband to drop off a RX for insulin (full disclosure it was for a diabetic cat) in the morning as I have accidentally drop the medicine the night before. There was some confusion and I received a call and stated that I would have my vet call or fax in a new RX. When I called I was told that someone had called but did not give them a RX for insulin. I called the vet and was told that the pharmacist would not take the RX because it was not what I needed. So I called the vet, picked up the RX and headed to Rite Aid. The pharmacy was not very apologetic and the staff in general were rude. My issue is the pharmacist should not be arguing with the prescriber as they are probably more aware of what the patient actually needs. read more

Finally Rite Aid has a great manager and staff. Fast and Friendly Service by the cashiers up front, as well as in the RX. The shelves are finally stocked with more than one or two items and the appearance looks loved and cared for. I have never seen such wonderful and healthy plants at this Rite Aid. Nothing like waiting for medicine with assistance pharmacist with a hickey and was also very unprofessional. Over hour wait after was suppose to be completed which if that happens ok, but explain and set expectations and be polite. Watched couple patients storm away from her window after her short snappy comments. The seasoned employees in the pharmacy and Store Manager Scott are really great. I have to say that their check out staff never ceases to surprise me. It's obvious that they have no clue how to respond to unexpected answers to their "Find everything OK?" Popped in to find a Xmas card. Found a limited selection. When I said that, I received no response. Nada. Lol. Why ask if you don't care? Next thing was when the screen went blank after swiping the card. No response. I'm just dumbfounded by the lack of interaction during this entire experience. Rite-Aid is one of those stores that is easy to ignore until you need something they sell. I usually drop in to buy those inflatable travel neck pillows for my mom after her last one springs a leak. The cashiers are generally efficient, if not always friendly, and the new associate who helped me last time was very nice. read more

They are always so terribly slow, with inconsistent customer service. I usually just deal with that because I get my RX here and get the little gifts and holiday treats here every year. Today just really put the icing on the cake, I won't be returning here again. I would rather drive out of my way to go to my old RiteAid in Bothell where everyone knew me, were prompt and kind. I went in to return maybe $10-$15 worth of holiday decorations I ended up not needing and the woman at the register told me to come back later because she would have to give me a gift card, since she didn't have "that much" money in her register. I told her it was $10-$15 and she said, "my register won't let me give you that. So it's a gift card or you can come back later." Normally I wouldn't care, but I pulled from my holiday savings budget and a gift card isn't going to refill that. Very unhappy over and over again with this location. Go to Walgreens. Hallmark. Anywhere else but here unless you want to be constantly frustrated. So I will literally go out of my way to come back later so I can put my actual money back in holiday savings. This review is about the Rite Aid Pharmacy. The staff and pharmacists are very friendly and helpful. The pharmacists, in particular, are very knowledgeable and have been quite helpful. My husband and I have many prescriptions, and they've known more about side effects and interactions than even our doctor told us about. If it was just the staff and pharmacists, I would give them 5 stars, but sometimes management doesn't have enough staff working during busy times, so the wait line has been at 5-6 people long a few times (generally at their busy time between 5-7 PM) -- and yet they still have to allow customers to purchase non-pharmacy items with their prescriptions, which can make for a wait time of 20 minutes or so. I don't know how that compares to other places, but it's a long time for me. read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy or drug store I've ever been to. I've been coming to this pharmacy for years for two reasons, they are the closest pharmacy to me and they have extended hours. If there was a closer pharmacy, I would absolutely go there in a heartbeat. This location has the WORST customer service in every way possible. I've been there countless times when they have closed early, and they have turned me down for filling prescriptions for no valid reason, I felt it was as though my medication was not of a high enough "importance" to them. The employees have no respect, patience, or customer service skills whatsoever. My doctors have left numerous voicemails for them to fill medications that the pharmacist has claimed not to have received. It's as if the employees have never been treated with respect in their lives, so they take it out on the customers. If you ever chose to go to this location, you will understand fully where I'm coming from. I have sent multiple emails to customer service and have never been contacted by anyone in a higher up position to make sure I was taken care of. I'm not someone who leaves reviews unless it's extremely positive, but today was the straw that broke my back and other people need to be warned to find a different pharmacy. read more
