A pile of fat from my chimi

First off, I ordered a shredded beef chimichanga and they gave me a Carnegie asada to me. Chonga and I didn't want to start no dramas, so I took it, but that's why I don't order Carnegie asada. It's disgusting it had tons of fat in that fat that you see in the picture just came from my half of the chimichanga because I shared that with my Husband Riva's Mexican grill needs to cut the fat.

We ordered via delivery service. We had the posole, steak fries, and pastor wet burrito. Our son raved about the posole he ordered and loved from Rivas #11 near Harry Reid Airport and was expecting the same flavor and heat from location #2. Unfortunately, the #2 location did not deliver the same quality as #15. The broth was not spicy, I tasted the posole and it was basically flavored water. There was no spicy option. No taste of chile, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper to taste. He was disappointed and so was I. I've had and can make authentic Mexican posole. I understand this is fast food takeout Mexican, but we will be ordering from store #15 from now on. However, the food was well packed, utensils and napkins included. The steak in the fries and the pastor wet burrito was well served and on point. My family and I appreciate the hard work, prep, and cooking efforts put into to satisfy the food craving we wanted for our family meal, including the posole. We spiced it up ourselves. Cheers.

Heating up the cold menudo
Blanca V.

I order uber eats today from this restaurant my menudo was cold, no taste. It came with tortillas and bolillo , onions and oregano with crush peppers. I always get my menudo from Ely's but someone recommended this place. Not too much of a fan first impressions count. Packing was great, good quantity, but cold and not flavorful. I don't live that far for it to be cold, will all the packing they did.

Steak fries

I have been to this place twice. First time, I ordered the Shrimp fries, with everything on it. Second time, it was the Steak fries, and again, with EVERYTHING. Having recently moved to Henderson area from LA, which has a never-ending list of great Mexican food, this place was not far in comparison. Fries are thin cuts, my preferred way. Shrimp and steak were cooked to order and very fresh. Flavors mixed with beans, guac, pico de Gallo, was all to perfection.

Food is amazing I mean truly amazing seasoned to perfection But as of the late the service is horrible. This is my now 5th time standing in someone face to order saying it over and over and still getting my order wrong. Today my family spent 62.00 on Taquitos, a burritos, sopes, a quesadilla and Carne asada fries So I told Karina on my fries no beans no pico And on my burrito no guacamole no pico just rice cilantro and onions For my rolled tacos beef We get home fries have beans, burrito has no rice and has pico, and Taquitos are chicken. Mind u I have repeated myself 4 times when ordering Then I call she says I can replace the food. Ok Ty I call back to check do I bring the incorrect order back as well she says no but ask me the complete order again I repeat myself again 6th time. I also provide her my phone number because yes while I want this replaced I want you guys to realize what your doing as your food is costing as much as Texas Roadhouse. So I get my food sit down ready to eat again no rice, and I have guacamole on the burrito!!! Is this a hard thing to do add rice. Are we making my food according to what you want me to have or what? Am I allergic? Yes did you know that yes because I told you twice and my daughter also told you. What is the problem!!! The food again is great but I don't know if I can deal with the service anymore. They have had to replace my food over 5 times in 2 months. And yes I keep going back expecting a change but nothing is happening. Waiting for a response from the owner. I gave Karina my number at 1:40 pm on Saturday Feb 18th

Came in around 9pm and this place had a few customers already inside waiting for their food. There was nobody in line to order so that was fairly quick. The cashier was super friendly and always had a smile on her face. ( Thats rare in restaurants these days ) I ordered 2 steak tacos for my meal. These tacos are actually big compared to other places I've been too. Which is why i ordered 2. Lol. But kid you not. I finished it with no problem :0 The tacos were very good and fresh. I love the hot sauces. The flavors are on point. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Friendly service and good food are hard to come by. Y'all know what I mean !

Food was great, cashier bubbly. Prices fair. About $25 for 2 tacos & a steak burrito; however, the cashier would not supply cups for water. That's no bueno. Especially after we added a 15% tip on the pad for the cashier. Take care of your customers & we will do the same to support local businesses. My partner ordered from there frequently on delivery and carne asada fries were A+.

Great menudo must ask for hominy, they make it your way!

Sis & I wanted menudo, we came here the closest to us. The staff was so accommodating, kind & professional, they will add hominy if you request it! The place is clean & the food we ordered was on point so delicious! We will be back!

Lousy customer service. Food ok for fast food. Fausto's is better. Only one redeeming value was their red sauce is so far best in town.

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like flour tortilla taquitos that would cross contaminate gluten free corn tortilla chips? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

The flavor is on point and it's always satisfying. The only dish I wasn't too big on was the posole. It wasn't bad at all, but it didn't taste like traditional Mexican posole -- it leaned more toward a Tex-Mex flavor. Again, not bad, just not what I personally look for when I'm craving authentic posole. I also love that it's not overly popular to the point where you're waiting forever to be seated. It has a nice, relaxed vibe. That said, I really hope they get more clientele because they deserve it -- I'd love to see them expand and grow. Definitely a hidden gem!

Very tasty from the shell. to the chicken, and the green sauce on the plate with sour cream. Generous chicken filling and full of flavor. Next, we ordered fajitas for the main course. I had chicken and my daughter ordered the shrimp. They came with rice and refried beans. I've ordered these at various Mexican restaurants and received rice and beans that were very dry! That was not the case at Hussongs. Those sides were moist and flavorful. The fajitas were sizzling hot and chicken was tender and seasoned. Even the peppers and onions included with the fajitas were cooked fully and meshed so well with the chicken and shrimp. We also ordered blackberry margaritas which were properly frozen and were delicious! My daughter and I enjoyed everything and were glad we gave this place a try! We'll definitely be back! Ambiance was relaxing, comfortable, and not overdone. Lastly. the service was good and attentive. One of very few establishments where every employee was pitching in wherever help was needed. Borracha, which translates directly to a state of inebriation, is the Mexican restaurant and bar inside Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa and Casino in Henderson. This casino surprised me with promotional dining offers this month, so I decided to take advantage of that to visit at least one spot which I previously hadn't. I waited until Saturday night and predictably had to settle for seat at the bar, which was pretty packed, to avoid a long wait. It was pretty busy, but a bartender eventually got to me and took my order. She also offered free chips and salsa, which were pretty solid. The chips are crunchy and plentiful, and the salsa is a pureed red salsa that's mild enough. My actual order was not as exciting though. The Carne Asada Steak Tacos ($19.00) came with a good amount of steak, but they were all cubed rather than sliced, which kept them pretty chewy. The sauce was something really bland and dark red rather than the chimichurri which was described on the menu, and I found myself adding the complimentary salsa from the chips to help. The rice was also too dry and the side of beans was very unremarkable. Borracha doesn't appear to be some hidden gem which I've been missing all these years, but rather just a bar with some relatively affordable eats for those who are hoping for a step above the food court but don't want American fare. Maybe I'll try a couple more entrees with the upcoming weeks' dining credits, or maybe not. If you aren't coming here for happy hour, I would just skip it entirely.

After our last trip when we received absolutely crap service and the manager tried to make it right by comping us, she indicated that the next meal "was on her" and urged us to come back "and give them another chance".. I took her at her word and contacted the restaurant to let her know that I was going to bring my wife and her parents to the restaurant for her birthday. So I contacted the restaurant and informed them that we wanted a reservation for four and that was my wife's birthday. I was contacted and told that they would do something special. We showed up and the front girl was "perfunctory at best". We were seated and waited 20 minutes before we received any water or chips. However, the staff was busy bustling to set this large table in the middle of the dining room for a group that wouldn't show up for 10 minutes. They literally had their chips, salsa, water etc. 10 minutes before we did and we weren't even there. When we did get a waitress she was perfunctory and less than friendly. When I told her we were there for my wife's birthday her answer was "oh that's nice". Far cry from "we will make the evening special for you". We got our food which was fine but absolutely nothing. Throughout the meal the waitress spent all of her time chatting with the large group in the middle - obviously her friends or whatever because they got five star service while we were simply ignored. If we wanted to get a refill of a glass of water or in my father-in-law's case, some sour cream, had to literally get up and pull her away from her buddy table to get service. In addition, not a happy birthday, dessert nothing. So much for trusting the manager when she said that she was going to comp the meal or even at the minimum do something to celebrate the birthday. If we went to something as mundane as Applebee's my wife would've got a piece of cheesecake lol. Very disappointed in this place. We love the food but the service is just crap.
