Great food, Great Pizza, and Great Beer list! In the past I've had the PB&J wings and the Bangkok Nights Pizza and the Pizza was a perfect combination of chewy and crunchy. Today I had the Spicy Garlic Wings and they were the best version of that flavor I've had blowing away some of the wing specialty restaurants in the area. Riverboat Pizza is my favorite pizza place in Savannah. They're pizza is consistently delicious and their service is phenomenal. We always have a challenging time deciding which of their specialty pizzas we want to eat when we go. This time we went with the Pesto Manifesto, a pesto based pizza with chicken, mushrooms, bacon, artichokes, and green onion, and the River Monster, a tomato based pizza with pepperoni, salami, sausage, bacon, and smoked sausage. The best thing about Riverboat is that for a small up charge you can get half and half with any type of pizzas, even if they have different sauces, and the toppings don't get mixed. Both types of pizzas were incredible. The sauces tasted homemade and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. The staff is always pleasant and welcoming. We love coming here. read more

When we first moved to Savannah almost 4 years ago we were hoping to find a pizza place that had a family friendly atmosphere. We are grateful to have found Riverboat Pizza! The pizza and customer service is amazing! For the quantity and quality of the pizza you get, it is priced very reasonably. When family visit from out of town, we almost always take them here and they also rave about the pizza and have a hard time deciding which pizza to get (we normally each do a personal sized pizza). If you save room for dessert, their cheesecake is delicious. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a nice atmosphere, clean restaurant, excellent pizza and customer service at affordable prices! read more

My go to place for pizza near my house. The owners are so nice and work extremely hard. They give a military discount, which is always appreciated. They have two of my favorite pizzas- the master splinter (give me ALL of the pesto) and Bangkok nights (peanut sauce, shut the front door). They always have some great craft beer options to pair with your pie. If you don't live near here, it is worth the drive! read more

This spot has great original recipe pizzas. The 1733 is a must try! Don't be afraid of the wildflower honey! It gives the pizza a slight hint of sweetness and added flavor. Be warned - the service is super slow. I understand good food takes time and the pizzas are made to order. Nonetheless, we were quite surprised to see people sitting and waiting for their food when we arrived and still not get it almost and hour later. Our order also took roughly and hour for dine in. The employee apologized so I don't know if this the norm for them. Fortunately we weren't in a hurry that night. We will try them again. read more

None of the staff were masks, even when I requested it. The excuse was that it was too hot (and it was warm). But not only is it needed for good health, it is now the law in Savannah! This location is slated for indoor dining starting July 15th. I hope not. They are not safe. read more

Pizza is my die hard go to favorite food. I could eat it every day. I have tried most pizza places in the surrounding Savannah area, and this is my go to favorite spot. If you are in a hurry this is not the place for you. They make their pizza fresh when you order, and they don't just throw it together. We have not tried many things other than the pizza, until this last time we tried the garlic knots and they were wonderful!! We got a 14" double pepperoni. There was plenty of pepperoni and the pizza was well done. The taste was really good. My main complaints were that the crust was a bit too thin and chewy/tough. The waiter was overworked and had an attitude that said he really, really did not want to be at work (in fairness it was Easter.) The pizza was also a bit on the expensive side. None of the criticism would keep me from eating here again, however. read more

For this Friday night wind down I decided to go with a suggestion from a local television show called "Eat It and Like It". The host from the show stated that the Bangkok Nights Pizza was an awesome pizza. A must try. So I did what I was asked. I called the pizza company up and ordered a personal Bangkok Nights pizza. The woman that answered the phone was extremely pleasant but she had a difficult time understanding me (a slight language barrier). Nonetheless, she told me 25 minutes and the order was placed. As I drove up the outside store front looks very modern nothing fancy but a great store front. However, the inside is subpar. The inside of the restaurant lacks charm and intimacy. The inside is small so small personal touches would give this store the intimate touch it needs to make the inside more welcoming and to match the logo. Nonetheless I picked up my personal pizza and the cashier was very friendly and the pizza smelled delicious. When I got home I bite into the peanut-cilantro smelling pizza. I must say that this combination actually blew my mind. I love Asian foods but when you combine it with a pizza magic happens. It was definitely hard not to eat this entire pizza so I know I will return for seconds in the near future. Overall this restaurant deserves a B+. The Bangkok Nights pizza is amazing (especially if you enjoy Asian flavors// beware this pizza has peanuts if you have a nut allergy), the employees are friendly, and the company is one of few restaurants on this street that isn't a chain. Pitfalls, the parking lot is confusing and difficult to find something close to the store, decor inside the restaurant is subpar the owners should give the restaurant a unique renovation, and the prices aren't listed online for easy to-go orders. read more

If you are ever in this area, this is a must visit pizza place. Our waitress was phenomenal. We live in NC but were in town for an overnight stay. This is in a "hole in the wall" location, however when we walked in we were greeted with friendly smiles and a welcome. The waitress we had (I hate that I didn't ask her name) was nice, professional, and had a great sense of humor. The interior is sparse, but it's comfortable. The food was delicious! We shared an order of Spicy Garlic boneless wings...the Bleu cheese dressing is homemade and amazing with the yummy wings. My husband ordered one of the Calzones, with pepperoni, sausage, salami, and (I think) ham that is on the menu. He said it was good, as was the marinara that comes with it for dipping. I got the personal (10") pizza with feta cheese, spinach, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes. It was a great pizza! I love their crust and ended up dipping it in the leftover Bleu cheese dressing...heaven for a BC lover!. If we are ever in Savannah again, we will be sure to stop by. read more

I gave an awesome review of this place first time but I won't bother coming here again. The first thing you will see upon arrival are the dirty front windows & the many empty seats on the inside. They have hours posted but a couple of times I arrived and they were closed when they should of been open. My last order (Sunday April 23, 2017) was 5 different personal pizzas - ALL tasted awful, dry, barely any sauce and one didn't have sauce at all. Crust tasted stale. I also ordered 20 wings and they didn't bother asking me if I needed ranch or blue cheese dressing to go with it. $60+ I spent for a small party just to hear my guest tell me the pizza wasn't good. I called and complained but no manager or owner was there so I had to speak to a young boy who btw had no customer service skills - he didn't even bother to apologize. read more

Our server took 15 minutes to bring our drinks, she only brought them over because another staff member saw we didnt have any and told her. The food came out fast which was good, and the calzone had a nice flavor which made me happy because it's hard to find a good spot that has them in the south compared to where I'm from, New Jersey. The flavor of the buffalo wings was just okay. His entree came out 10minutes before mine which I didnt like. Then when the food came out the silverware was so cheap that it wouldnt cut the calzone, and they dont have steak knives either. At this point, I'm convinced that we will come back in the future to take a calzone to go, and then I look around and see a dead roach. Then i realize how dusty the place is.
