Thank you for vegetables in a bath of creamy flavorful grits. Everything is so well done. Service is kind and attentive. Ambiance is calm and cute. Perfect, really. Kudos to the chef! Good work, Omaha, I'm always impressed when I visit and Kitchen Table is another to add to my list of great places to eat while here.

After a couple of minutes, I went back up to the counter and asked if they had already started making it, because I wanted to change my order. The kitchen was open, so I said to the cook, "Don't worry about it if you've already started. I know my indecision can impact people, and I don't want to be a problem." He looked at me and said, "No, it's totally fine. Would you like some veggies on the side?" "Yes, that would be amazing," I said, and walked back to my table... and burst into tears. It wasn't just what he said. It was the kind energy in his eyes. I felt someone who took pride in what he was making, and who genuinely wanted people to be happy. I found myself asking, why am I crying? Because in a world where so many people in power feel disconnected, where corporations can make us feel like numbers, being genuinely cared for in a small café reminded me how much I love humans. Most people have love in their hearts and are trying to share it in their own small ways. As the world cracks, these simple things are more meaningful than ever.

We stopped into the Brunch Box for a little family lunch…read more We ended up sharing everything but my husband and I got the loaded tots with a cinnamon roll and my daughter got the breakfast burrito as a kids meal for our food. The loaded tots were okay but I didn't feel like everything was evenly spread for good consistent bites. I also found it odd that they sent the sour cream out in packs versus placing it on the tots themselves. The cinnamon roll was very tasty. We all enjoyed it! The breakfast burrito was good but ended up tasting pretty salty. The delivery robot was definitely a highlight of the visit. My daughter thought it was amazing! After our meal, my husband and I ended up sharing a boozy flight and my daughter chose orange. Overall, a really fun environment and a cute little stop.

The picture of the large mimosa on the menu was misleading, because when I got it, it truly was a large mimosa!! Great portion sizes. The brunchie punch was sweet and full of fresh strawberries- yum! I'm obsessed with their brunch menu, and love that anything can be made gluten free or vegan. This is so hard to find!!! The gluten free biscuits and gravy was the best. The gluten free cinnamon roll was sweet and rich. I loved the place. They had really cute seating areas and fun photo opportunities. They also had a cute robot that sang when it delivered items. The staff was really nice and helpful since it was our first time here. It wasn't particularly clean, but the vibes made up for it.

Had a pretty fantastic experience here for Saturday brunch recently. They do require reservations…read morein advance, which puts a $40 hold on your card. They were fairly busy, and honestly our food took a bit to come out, but I am still giving a five due to the overall experience and quality of service. Our server Melannie was fantastic and always present. We did the bottomless mimosa deal (3 out of 4 of us) and she was always coming around asking us what flavor we wanted next when our current was still half full to make sure we got our moneys worth. The champagne might not be the fanciest, but for $20 bottomless mimosas I'll take it. They have fun flavors in addition to the basic ones like strawberry, mango, etc. which adds an element of fun. For food--there were several things I was eyeballing but landed on the spicy chorizo Benny. It was really good, eggs cooked perfect, and came with hashbrowns. Another at our table got the poutine which also looked yummy. I'd say the food portion could have included a bread/toast option, however If brunching in Omaha i'd return to try several things on the menu. The vibe inside is chill, would be more fun sitting outside once the weather warms up. Since I was the one that booked the reservation, the tab got a bit confusing. At first they were taking it off my total, then the server said that hold would come off so I paid for my meal/drinks there. I did end up getting double charged (for both the reservation hold and my meal) which was cleared up with a quick phone call to their establishment---apparently it is a new process they are trying. I do understand though why they wouldn't want to just deduct the hold as then people that don't know how to tip wouldn't tip on the total, which hurts the server. All was cleared up regarding this mishap though so no complaints.

Our table was just across from the bar at a high-top, which we really enjoyed. Our server/bartender was EP - she was knowledgeable, kind, and funny. The chili is very filling for the portion size. My husband had an old fashioned and I had a dirty martini to drink. We celebrated my husband's birthday and had a great dessert.
