I had breakfast at this buffet Monday morning 4/2/18. I had Denver eggs, bacon, potato tats and apple pancakes. The food was sub-par to mediocre. However, the BACON WAS VERY FLAVORFUL. I had just a bite or two of the food I had on my plated and I returned to buffet to see if there was anything there that was enticing. I noticed they had bread pudding (Yes, they had bread pudding on the breakfast buffet) and I decided to try it. Lucky me, THE BREAD PUDDING WAS THE BEST THING at the buffet. Tuesday $15 per person because of "bbq" night. This was the first time I didn't look at the reviews before coming here...and I wish I did. We wanted the window view but the only one available was in the back next to the dirty dishes. There was open seats cause someone left but they told us it was reserved. Hm..ok. The food was not good. The selection was little and most of the BBQ was dried out. The roast beef was not bad, it was dry but it was the best item there. Everything had an odd taste to it. My family and I mainly ate the corn because it was safe. My 5 year old son didn't even touch his Mac n cheese, and he's not picky when it comes to that. I wish we would of gone somewhere else but we were killing time before watching a movie. I wouldn't recommend anyone going here. Unless you're just in a hurry to eat n go. 2 stars is for the service. As a recent transplant to the BHC-Laughlin area, I'm still figuring what is considered a good option for this area and specifically the buffets at the casinos. I went to this particular buffet yesterday for their champagne brunch. We had a nice view of the river, but the blinds were pulled too far down to really appreciate the view. I was a little bit disappointed with the size of the glass they chose to serve me my iced tea in. The amount of tea was overpowered by the amount of artificial sweetener that was required to make the drink palatable due to the bad taste of the water in the area. I thought the options presented were varied and look reasonably fresh and if you're trying to eat healthy, you could find some good options. There was an omelette bar and a waffle bar, but the omelette bar expected tips and the waffle bar moved too slow for it to be really be effective. My overall conclusion of this buffet is that it's a "run of the mill" kind of buffet. Not too shabby. read more

Despite what many of the reviews say negatively about the service I felt that the service was probably the only exceptional thing about this place. Although I feel that way about the service I have to say the food did disappoint me heavily which was a huge bummer to me because I already had very low expectations for this place so for it to go beyond what I already felt is unsettling. The roast beef was over cooked and tasteless even with au jus and horse radish, items such as their parsley potatoes were bathing in a cesspool of oil, and many of the other dishes being offered looked half put together. We have eaten here several times over the last 6 months. Honestly it's HIT or MISS most times. At a consistent 5 out of 10 it's not the worst food or the best. And some days are better than others. I try to be a realist on YELP. I give stars for what you can expect from an area or price point. Being a buffet in a casino I and "you" should not expect "Amazing" but "Nice" That being said my family and I are here today and had a great meal. Everything was well prepared and nothing was out of line. From the ribs to the potstickers, the baked beans to the soft serve ice cream it was a great meal for the price. The view is always a selling point. And although the servers are slow to refill drinks and remove plates they always seem friendly. I try not to blame a worker who may not like their job or employer and instead try to see a person who tries even if it doesn't pay well. Knowing many servers in the area they don't make much so if they are nice I'm fine with that. I will come back again. read more

Pretty much a run of mill buffet. I had the ribs, over cooked and dry but I've had worst. Supprizing when I asked for more napkins it was like pulling teeth. We came to the buffet because we got a 2-for-1. There is a very good selection of food. Everything I took was tasty. I would like to give a shout out to sous chef Kathleen Ott. She was at the carving station. She was especially attentive to kids and youth. I complemented her for her great attitude. She said she wanted our eating experience to be wonderful. I'm starting to hate buffets these days. I don't know why we actually ate here twice. I was praying this buffet in Laughlin would be better than Roundhouse buffet--and it was but only slightly. We ate dinner here on Friday night and it seemed everything in there limited selection of food was seafood and this seafood looked pretty bad. The only thing halfway descent were the crab legs. I actually enjoyed those and ate mostly crab legs. The fish was gross, the fried shrimp was nasty, the vegetable penne was actually really good, the guacamole on Sunday was pretty damn good (selection on Sunday slightly better than Friday night) and my favorite thing there was the soft served ice-cream. Paired on top of a brownie bite and it rocked. The tacos on Sunday were pretty good too. I just wouldn't come here by choice again. read more

This is a crap shoot, all depends on the waitress you get and what kind of food they want to get rid of. The last few times have been terrible. The waitress's the last few times have obviously problems going on and hate their jobs. When you have to waive them down to get a drink ordered and see disgusted looks on their faces. Even when trying to get a refill. The food used to be excellent but the past few times, it looks and tastes terrible. I will ask the next time to look at the buffet first. Food looks old, meat is dried out. There are 3 waitresses here who are excellent, always checking on us and topping our drinks. I will also make it a point to have one of them serve us. By the way, if you are an employee here. You get tips based on service and is not a requirement. If there is "no tip", you might want to think about changing your approach of doing things. read more

Came here for Easter Champagne brunch. The dining area is huge and has a nice view of the river. The buffet line itself is super cramped and chaotic. The food is average. It's not the best in the Laughlin but it's definitely not the worst (Edgewater). Our waitress, I didnt get her name but she was awesome. She refilled our glasses of champagne promptly and was very sweet and charasmatic. She made our experience that much better. All I know is that she originally hails from Moreno Valley, CA. This place has way to many boomers that scream and cry that their fried shrimp is not out ok the buffet in time and the staff is very oblivious to their surroundings. The smoke smell from the casino fills the very compact buffet room. The food is very very and I cannot emphasize this enough terrible. I tried this buffet several times in different times and different occasions for over 10 years, thinking it would get better everytime I visit Laughlin... It is so VERY obvious that management doesn't pay any attention to customer complaints as quality of food has deteriorated over the several months I've been going. Over cooked, under cooked. We have been coming to the buffet for years. We have never had a problem with food or service. We were there on Wednesday September 19th for lunch. As usual the food was good and the view. The service was unexpectedly bad. We were almost the only white people in the room. The Hispanic waitress was obviously catering to Hispanic guests. She spent way more time than should be allowed to visit with her friends. We were simply waiting to get our drinks refilled but she appeared not to care. I was here 7/23/16, two things - 1) I need a new phone, because I could not review Yelp beforehand, and 2) the meal was comped. I can tell you why the food is free. The only reason for two stars was the Pesto Ravioli. I would say the Creamy Pesto was interesting. And they have soft serve ice cream, which offers a brain freeze when it's a 115 degrees out.
