Lack of toppings, sloppy and wet.

We ordered a 16 inch Pineapple Ham pizza today that cost $24.79 and it was disgusting!! I cannot believe this place is in business if this the type of pizzas going out the door. Toppings were VERY skimpy, the crust was floppy, as if "wet", that when we picked up a slice all the toppings fell off. Very disappointed and will never visit here again nor recommend to family, friends or ball teams.

    Stromboli!
    Mike B.

Was talking to a NJ friend today and he was telling me he had a stromboli from one of my favorite local pizza shops up north. As soon as we hung up, I knew I HAD to have a stromboli for dinner. Road Runners is next door to the gym, so was a convenient choice for a pick up. The order was phoned in and ready as promised. The stromboli was excellent. The crust was crunchy outside and moist and fluffy in the inside. It was generously filled with my selected stuffings (ham, broccoli, roasted red peppers, onions) and covered with delicious shredded mozzarella. The whole thing was garnished with some olive oil and garlic. They included a pair of cups of sweet marinara sauce for dipping. This stromboli was every bit as good as the old spot in NJ. And definitely satisfied my. Raving. I'll have to head back over to Road Runners to sample the rest of the menu. Good stuff!

Best pizza and wings in the North Raleigh area! I always get the Buffalo Bird Pizza and it always hits the spot. The wings are also awesome!

Pizza was okay. Kind of sparse with the pepperoni. They tried to charge me $.75 for a cup of ice. Not real friendly either.

For instance, my vegetarian dish I ordered was full of beef. Fortunately I'm not a vegetarian. Our most recent visit was just as good as the first time. My order was correct, and delicious. Chile relleno was really just a poblano with cheese, but has the most rich and flavorful sauce, as is the sauce for the spinach enchilada. Even their beans and rice have good flavor. Burrito-loving Husband tried the Pomodoro this time with Steak and loved it. (Not sure what made it pomodoro though lol. Chips and Salsa are complimentary and very good too. Restaurant is nice and clean (98 sanitation)...love that. I will say the service is like a step back in time to where only "Sirs" were talked to. My Sir got good service and since he was the only one of us who existed got to pay the bill too. Which was not a bad thing cause their prices are super reasonable! Menu is large and varied. Definitely a great Mexican option if you're in Northeast Raleigh. And you can multi-task cause it's at a gas station.

Service, even when they are busy, is also very good. Friendly. Really feel like they CARE here. Case in point...open on Christmas Day. Yep. That's care for the community. Same great menu with a nice variety. Great selection of brews on tap. The Brown Ale from Charlotte was one of the best we've ever had. Also tried their spinach dip for the first time and it was fantastic. The crispy bacon really made it special. Also finally tried their wings. Love that you can get them grilled. And let me tell you they are worth the 30 minute wait! They won't let you have two different sauces, but will let you mix a couple and I gotta say my creation of smoky bbq mixed with honey habanero is a real winner! Husband is a huge fan of their Chicago Beef Sandwich and onion rings. And the sides are always good. Loaded Baked Potato and Broccoli are two of my faves. Never have to worry about parking as it's in the Lowes Foods Shopping Center. Nice choice of seating...high top tables, lower ones plus bar seating. Plus a few games if you feel like playing. Delightful neighborhood bar/restaurant.

The New York Style Crust and savory Tomato Sauce come together to make the perfect hand-held, foldable Pizza. The expansive lineup of Pasta dishes are also right out of the Big Apple. Calzones, Strombolis, Hot Sandwiches, Cold Sandwiches, Appetizers, Salads and Deserts are all on the menu. If it's Italian, this Rolesville trattoria probably serves it. The one negative is that there is no inside seating. We were fortunate that the weather was beautiful on our first visit, and we were able to enjoy a bright sunny day at one of their outdoor tables. Otherwise this is one of the best take-out Pizzerias in the area. We enjoyed an 18" Pepperoni Pizzaand 10" Individual Pizza with Onions and Bell Peppers. Both were delicious - with just the right amount of savory Tomato Sauce and melty Mozzarella Cheese. Another favorite was the Penne Arrabiata Pasta with Black Olives and a Spicy Tomato Sauce. The Penne was cooked perfectly, the sauce tantalizing and the portion more than enough for two meals. My favorites are the Italian subs. Pie-Zano's sub rolls are everything a perfect roll should be: slightly sweet, slightly crispy on the outside, enough texture to provide a satisfying crunch when you bite into it and king-size. Any filling would taste great when stuffed inside one of these beauties. The Special Sub is crammed full of Ham, Salami, Provolone, Cappicola, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and Banana Peppers and seasoned just right with classic Italian flavors, Olive Oil and Vinegar. A complete meal on a roll. The only item that we did not particularly enjoy was the Baked Spaghetti with Ricotta and Mozzarella. We found it to be rather bland, but were able to bring it to life with some oregano, basil, red pepper flakes and a drizzle of olive oil. This would be a perfect dish for the kiddies - and enough to feed two or three of them.

Okay, I can leave and come back. Came back and placed an order. Love the 100 percent sanitation and the friendly gentleman who works the window. They give you a pager. It was another 15 minute or so wait for my six wings with sweet spicy pineapple sauce. When I picked up the order (after having to wait for someone else to order again), I was offered ranch or bleu cheese dressing with it. Ranch for this Gal. Home I went to discover that the wings are breaded and fried. My personal preference is non-breaded, but my bad cause I didn't ask. I will say if you like breaded fried chicken these were well done. Maintained their crispiness even with the tasty sauce all over them. For some reason they gave me 7, which was nice. They were so rich, I saved a couple for the next day and of course the breading was soggy by then. But again, not their fault. They also have boneless wings and offered waffle fries as well. I heard them say they ran out of bone-in ones after me (maybe my free 7th was the last one). And they were out of mac and cheese. Hope that means they had a successful afternoon. I love supporting food trucks, especially ones with 100% sanitation.
