They don't get shipments all day like supermarkets. Right at Tenleytown metro, next to Whole foods and Panera, across from Target, Ace Hardware, Container Store, library, Chase bank, lots of stuff. lots of bus lines too. Walking distance to Wegmans and Lidl, so 1-stop shopping. Someone said when they first opened they were sold out of stuff the person ordered at the kiosk. Anything on the kiosk that is sold out should not be available to order, so this shouldn't be an issue. If you bought something through the kiosk that was sold out that is a technical issue.

Product-wise, I have been to this Subway multiple times and they are out of food! I have never had that happen at ANY other Subway location. The other day, they were only offering tuna and ham as options. They also had very little toppings available. Every time I am here there are scant offerings when it comes to chips, drinks and cookies. Other times, the staff have messed up on my order. I ask for oil on my sandwich and they put on mayo making my sandwich into a sloppy mess. The sandwiches here taste like any other Subway sandwich, meaning they are good, but that is only if you can actually get an order with what you want. Other than the terrible service and lack of food options there is generally not much to say. This store is located in AU's tunnel by Bender Arena. There is also limited seating options at this store. Altogether, stay far way from this Subway. The only reason to come here would be if you work at or attend American University and it is convenient to visit.

Like Roaming Rooster's honey butter chicken sandwich, Nash and Smashed's also has cheese in it, which I think overpowered the honey butter oozing from the top of the chicken. The chicken itself, though, was delicious and juicy. I got a side of their creamy signature sauce in the bag, but I did not really need it since there was already plenty of sauce for me inside the sandwich. It probably would have gone well with their waffle fries had I gotten them. The sandwich alone was enough to fill me up. A big reason for me coming to Nash and Smashed was a 3.99 deal for the Oh My Thigh chicken sandwich that they advertised on their Instagram page. I was bummed to learn this location was not doing it. This gas station version of their menu didn't even have that chicken on it, so the worker had no idea what I was talking about. Just a warning if you see any deal on their social media page. There's stool seating on the side with a lovely view of the gas station and Connecticut Ave out the window. There was enough room for four to five people. Another comparison to Roaming Rooster, the chicken sandwich prices are a little cheaper than RR's. Only a few menu items sound similar, but Nash and Smashed has a larger selection of burgers, chicken buckets, sides, and drinks. FWIW some guys next to me raved about their hamburgers, especially the sauce.
