Having pizza is a rare treat, especially when many restaurants don't offer options other than red sauce. I was able to order a pesto-based pizza ($29) and add beef pepperoni ($6)! The Lupo pie did not disappoint. The garlic, pesto sauce, cheeses, and pepperoni created a grand combination of savory; saltiness, creaminess, herbs, and a light, yet rich smokiness. Service was friendly and the outdoor seating was excellent for a warm, sunny Wednesday afternoon.

Good food but a bit over prized. The bread has just the right amount of char in it - the bee sting pizza is fine but not exceptional. Because we had a 10 year old with us, we had the original pepperoni as well, I think it would have been better without the pepperoni....their pepperoni was hard and bit over cooked. The place is sparse but I suppose that makes it hip and the service is good. This branch is hard to find. It's in the courtyard across the street from the parking building of the Platform. Now listen, because I wish someone had told me this before I got all frustrated. Entrance to the parking is on Landmark off Washington Blvd. But the restaurant is actually in the middle of the courtyard in the building across the street. Got it? Yeah, it took me a while.

This place came highly recommended from a local so I had to give it a go. To start off, our server was incredibly nice and attentive. The salad was absolutely mind blowing, I would drive up 2 hours just for the Green Lettuces. The pizza was also pretty good but the salad was the star of the show for me. The drinks are okay, they need a bit more to them. They give off the vibe like they are pre-mixed. Overall a good spot, I would come back.

Walked in for a quick dinner - what a great spot! I love hot honey pizza, and their Bee Sting pizza was the hot honey pizza of my dreams - thin crust, large and slightly crispy soppressata slices, and the occasional basil, all drizzled with the perfect amount of honey. The Japanese sweet potatoes were also such a delightful surprise - the rich cake-y texture of sweet potatoes was balanced so nicely by the fresh herbs and husk cherries, such a wonderful combination! Our server was also friendly and helpful. Would come back for sure.

So SLICE to find a little taste of New York in LA! Tucked away in the Platform mall in Culver City, Roberta's offers New York-inspired Italian fare, with a menu filled with pizza, pasta and much more. We had to order the Bee Sting, which is their version of a hot honey salami pizza, and is prepared fresh to order in-house via their pizza oven. We also ordered the clam linguine, which was made with housemade pasta, and small but high quality and fresh clams. Overall, the portions were a bit small for the prices, but it's undeniably high quality Italian food that can sometimes prove to be surprisingly elusive in LA. Service was very nice and attentive despite the restaurant being super busy, and even kindly offered us free housemade boysenberry ice cream to apologize for us having to move tables to accommodate a large 10+ person party (although we didn't mind moving away since they were super loud and obnoxious LOL). Parking is unfortunately not validated, but Sweetgreen a few feet down does offer validation.

My wife and I were heartbroken when our favorite place to eat at the Sportsman's Lodge Shops Roberta's suddenly closed....so we went to the Roberta's location in Culver City and were just absolutely blown away by their customer service! There was a private party event going on but Osanga and Malcolm made sure our drive from Studio City was not in vain! Malcolm took our order and said there was a nice park area called The Platform we could sit in with our Black Lab Harvey while we waited for our food. And much to our surprise they brought our food out to us and set us up at a very nice picnic table to enjoy our dinner! It was a 5 star experience thanks to Osanga and Malcom! I highly recommend recommend Roberta's in Culver City! The Neapolitan pizzas, the Buratta, the snap pea salad, the Greens Salad and the Clam pasta were all excellent! As good as the food was .....I'd come back just for the top notch customer service from Osanga and Malcolm!

A margherita pizza to dream about. This spot is absolutely worth the hype, everything we ordered tasted fresh and delicious. The bread and stracciatella was also a great side and will absolutely order again next time. The location is great, and parking is located just across the street. Service was also lovely as well.

Amazing (!) but expensive pizza, and terrible service.
    Karen C.

The pizza is delicious but expensive, the ambiance is pretty cool. But the service is none existent yet judgmental at the same time. For that, this restaurant gets 3 stars because all the stars really just go to the food quality, and the -2 stars are for high prices and terrible service. Ordering takeout is probably your best option.

Roberta's is one of the best spots in LA if you're craving a true NY pizza experience on the West Coast. The pies hit exactly how they should, thin, crispy crust, great char, and loaded with flavor. Everything feels balanced and intentional, the kind of pizza that reminds you why New York sets the standard. Standouts for me are the Speckenwolf, Ursula's, and the Bee Sting, all excellent, no wrong choice here. If you miss NY pizza or just want a really well-executed pie in LA, Roberta's absolutely delivers. One of my all-time favorites and always worth the visit.

I can't find the most current menu, do they still offer pasta dishes at the Culver City location?

If you google Roberta's pizza you can find the entire menu online... yes they do offer pasta dishes and other delicious dishes!

Is your patio temp controlled--considering a summer lunch next week?

We have shaded areas outside and AC inside.

Is the Culver City location open? On Google maps it says it's permanently closed and no one is picking up when I call.

Yes, I went there last Saturday.

    Do they have wine?

Lots! And we like talking about it. Make sure your server brings you a list of wines by the bottle. We specialize in low-intervention/natural wines, so if you're into wine too, there's a good chance we've got something you may not be familiar…

What time is happy hour and what's on the menu?

M-F 3-5pm There's HH on the weekend too, but it's not advertised. I went there Saturday at 3pm and they had a "Power Hour" menu (limited items listed at regular price) but was…

Are they checking for vaccination status for indoor and outdoor dining?

Yes. All patrons must show proof of vaccination

Can anyone post the restaurant's number at the Culver City location? Thank you

The restaurant does no accept phone calls or gives out the number. I have tried. They will only take reservations or orders from the website. It can be rather annoying if you are wanting something modified or special. But it is their policy.

Does Roberta's allow dog on the patio?

    Yes

How can I make a reservation here? There's no phone number and the link to the website is broken...

Not from what we saw on the menu

Do they make larger pizzas than the standard 6 sliced one in the pictures?

Only the 6" size in the photo.

Does this place offer gluten free crusts?

We do not currently offer gluten-free pizzas or pastas.

Hi! Can I please make a reservation this Friday for 5 people at 6:30pm? Thanks!

Hi Roberta's. I sent an email and couldn't locate your number, but we wanted to make a birthday reservation for 8 (7 adults + 1 baby) for Jan 25?

Hi Rachel! We got you all set! I sent you an email.

Are the pizzas for one, what is the size of the pie?

The pizza is a medium size . six slices kinda small for two people if you are hungry but if u are not on starving mode than one pizza and a little gem salad will certainly be enough. You can always be on the safe side and order two because u just…

I was created warmly upon entering, and that set the pace for my whole meal! I had a 14" cheese pizza. The crust was unbelievable! It was airy, chewy, and so fresh tasting! The sauce was so good, it tasted homemade! It had the perfect amount of basil! I cannot wait to return! A+++

I ordered via grubhub, so please take this into consideration for my review…read more What initially interested me in Mario's was the prices, menu variety, and advertising as authentic classic pizza. I got: - 18" X-Large Pizza (Pepperoni and Sausage) - Garlic Bread - 8 Chicken Wings (mild) - French Fries To begin with, the food was delivered promptly and safely. And the amount of food was TREMENDOUS, very much worth the money spent. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the pizza that much. In terms of structure, it was just decent. Not floppy, but not super firm. However, the flavor was a little off for me. It tasted almost sweet and the flavor balance was kind of strange. It wasn't enough for me to throw it out, but enough that it was noticeable when I was eating it. In the end, I did still finish the whole thing over a few days. The garlic bread was not flavorful to the level I would hope, but was plentiful and fine to eat. The chicken wings were solid, I enjoyed them. The fries were also solid and flavorful, I enjoyed them too. Overall, the main course here (the pizza) was a little off for me. The price performance was incredible though, I got basically 3.5-4 days worth of meals with this, so I still appreciated trying it out.
