We finally found this place--don't rely on iPhone direction link in Yelp! We were visiting the Baltimore area and wanted to try this restaurant based on the glowing reviews. Don't know where they ate, but this pizza was absolutely horrible! The dough was soggy and half-cooked, what little sauce that was on the pizza was tasteless and the cheese was really gooey. It may have been great pizza at one time, but it was terrible. Maybe it was just our bad luck, but I wouldn't take a chance on it. read more

The pizza is good, the prices are fantastic (get the lunch special or use one of the coupons on their website), and they're quick (I've always picked up or ate in their small dining room). Staff is friendly. You can tell they use some cheap ingredients. The pizza is a little greasy (not as bad as some big chains) and the cheese wants to slide off the crust. Wish I could have given them no stars. Ordered takeout for the staff at the University of Washington , Greater Baltimore Maryland Medical Center at 301 Hospital Dr. Called them at 11:00 am . When they open after 35 minutes I called backed to see if Pizza's were on the way. The girl who answered the phones said the Driver took them to Silver Springs. Go figure. So I have come to realize this business now charges a 50% surcharge for getting 2 half toppings instead of one topping over the entire pizza. They charge $1.00 for one topping and $1.50 for 2 toppings. All topping are in the same price tear so it doesn't really make sense except it's a way to rip a customer off because they are considered a great pizza joint in annapolis. Also their pizza's are now coming out burnt recently. So beware. $15.00 for a medium 2 topping pizza is a bit pricey even for Annapolis. Plus some of their younger staff can be kind of rude. Out of about 5 pizza's 2 were burnt. Their food is yummy when it isn't burnt. They have a good pizza sauce they use. Their subs are pretty good too. read more

My first choice for local pizza When I moved to Glen Burnie and asked about pizza, the ONLY thing I heard was, "Rocco's". It is a landmark and a tradition for my local friends, and I have to tell you, there's good reason. The pizza is not New York style, it's not Chicago style. It's that middle America "traditional" pizza. The crust is very thin and at it's best has a nice crunch to it. There isn't a lot of seasoning or flavor to it on it's own, it's really just a carrier for the sauce and toppings. The toppings aren't the highest quality ever, but they are flavorful. The tomato sauce has sweetness which I'm partial to and the cheese, though greasy, has actual flavor, rather than simply being a tasteless sticky covering. My favorite thing on the menu isn't the pizza, though. It's the buffalo wings. They are easily the best I've had from a takeout pizza place. They are large and meaty. They are also fried well before being topped with their own sauce. The sauce is a little watery so I ALWAYS ask for extra, because if not you may not even see it on your wings. But even the one time when I somehow got wings with no sauce delivered to me, they were so crispy and delicious that I enjoyed them as is. I don't know how they do it, but whether I pick up or have them delivered, they have NEVER been soggy or soft when I opened the carton. The prices are very affordable for pick up and they offer several carry out deals during the week. Wings are usually overpriced and sometimes you will find scrawny scraps thrown in as "wings". Rocco's really does not scrimp. We have had a few instances where delivery charges have varied from the menu or from a previous trip, but by no more than a dollar. The guys who answer the phone never seem very polite, but honestly, I'm only talking to them for a minute or two, and they aren't flat out rude. You aren't getting a gourmet pizza, but you are getting a great everyday style pizza and crispy, tangy wings. I've tried a bunch of the other options around here(seems like hundreds of pizza takeouts) and finally decided there was no point--Rocco's is the best. read more

Ordered 6 subs this evening, 4 cheese steaks, one of those American Cheese, and 2 chicken cheese steaks. The only one with cheese was the special request American Cheese. Called to advised about the lack of cheese and was advised # 1 they watched us make the cheese steaks # 2 a call back from the manager that the "tape" shows cheese added.
