I've been going to Rocco's for years and it's honestly one of my favorite spots to unwind, especially as a broke young guy who appreciates a good happy hour. I know it's more of a sports/dive bar, and that's exactly the vibe I'm looking for. Tonight was another solid visit. I was served by Hashim, his service was prompt and excellent, and he was able to accommodate the entire bar and service well while the spot was PACKED. The happy hour itself is honestly one of the best deals around doubles on pretty much anything, which is hard to beat. We ordered a round of pb&j shots, and they were absolutely DELICIOUS, Hashim is a real wiz with those shaker tins! If you're looking for a solid sports bar with genuinely great happy hour deals with exceptional service and a laid-back atmosphere, Rocco's is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back. Dropped in right before Culver City pride! Love how this place is set up, it's very easy to sit and watch one of the sports playing on the multiple TVs. We ordered a Greek salad with chicken, hero sandwich, and fried zucchini. The hero sandwich was delicious, as were the fries! The Greek salad was also good, but man that lettuce was chopped really small. It made it so hard to eat, I feel like I needed a spoon. the chicken (which was 6 dollars to add, incredible overpriced) was closer to sawdust, then chicken. It was beyond overcooked and had zero flavoring. Absolutely not worth the added charge. We loved the fried zucchini too! Super fresh and great batter. Overall I did like the food here! But I'd avoid the salads unless you want to be attempting to stab at lettuce for 45 minutes. read more

Not coming back to this place. Last night a group of my friends came to Rocco's for the first time. The bartender (a male with long hair) came up to my friend, who was sitting next to me, and told her, "I know times are hard, but it's rude not to leave a tip." I thought it was a joke at first, but he stood there waiting for his tip! We were shocked by how aggressive he was. Especially because we weren't done ordering drinks, and we planned to tip him $20 in cash, not on our tab. My friend walked out very upset. A few minutes later, the same bartender walked out LOOKING for her! He walked out of the bar and came up to her while she was standing on the curb to demand his tip! We've never experienced this at any other bar. I called today and spoke to a female who said she was the manager. I really hope this bartender gets some serious customer-service training. They have limited seating, so it's very crowded inside, and the outdoor seating is in the ally next to the restaurant aside from a few tables in the very front. This is a nice little casual spot in downtown Culver that allows for a fun little getaway after a tough day at the office. This is more of a bar vibe, but very comfortable and welcoming. The service is excellent because of the friendly and attentive staff. I ordered a sweet tea cocktail and a buffalo chicken wrap with fries. The sweet tea cocktail was not my favorite. It had an aftertaste that is hard to describe, but I wouldn't order it again. I tasted my friend's Jersey Shore lemonade which was much tastier. I will try that next time. The fries are pretty delicious. They come with a garlic aioli sauce for dipping that is really good. The friends themselves have some fresh basil sprinkled on top which was new for me on fries. It added a really delicious taste. The Buffalo chicken wrap was simple yet good, but a bit on the messy side. It was not too spicy - it had a standard Buffalo sauce kick. Got Buffalo Wings which were fine. Kind of cold because the order took over 30min for 8 wings. The cheese bread was a little burnt lol. Not a big deal again, it tasted alright like some good frozen garlic bread. The 1 star is mostly for the service. Our server was a youngish dark haired girl who just didn't seem to care that we were there. Put in our order then walked around and chatted with people. Then after 30min asked about the wings and then she brings a cold plate. Most definitely she forgot lol. The food just tasted old even the ketchup tastes like spoiled vinegar. Service was good and quick; good atmosphere with different groups watching games. They did play a lot of music instead of game audio even when the game was going on, which was a bit annoying. My main complaint is with the garlic Parmesan wings - they may have been some of the worst garlic Parmesan wings I have ever had. DO NOT ORDER THEM. The garlic and cheese garnishing were falling off to the side. I love coming here and have always had a great time with family and friends. There would be occasions when we would go in to enjoy a game while consuming tasty food and beverages. My friend and I came here for dinner on a Thursday evening and got ID'ed at the door, which wasn't a problem but also wasn't expecting to get ID'ed. We luckily found a table with seating right away, since the bar was packed by the time we got there. The service was great. We ordered the chicken wings and a margherita pizza and it wasn't the best we've had. The chicken was a bit dry, though the sauce helped liven it up. I ordered the 10 piece but it definitely came with more than 10 pieces, which I appreciated but I wasn't able to finish the whole thing. My friend ordered the margherita pizza and it was okay, maybe a 3/5. Flavor wasn't really there and it was weird to have chunks of tomato on top. Food wasn't the greatest but the atmosphere was nice and energetic. It was a bit loud so it was hard to hear each other while talking, but overall, not a bad place to check out. There's a cozy little bar in the back of the restaurant, which I highly recommend checking out!!! Great drinks, great ambiance and live music. It was the perfect way to end the night. read more

Great place to watch the games. Came here with a decent size group to watch our team lose (I'm being realistic this season). We had a nice corner booth table that we could see all the TVs. Our server was amazing and sympathetic with our team's high and lows. We got our hopes up with our team actually playing well while enjoying their brunch items and then just drowned our sorrows with some pizza at the end of the game. All in all a fun time. All inside seating was taken but there were plenty of tables available in their outdoor alleyway patio. We caught the tail end of happy hour which the waitress informed us was 2 for 1 drinks. We were able to get a really large beer for the price of the pint which was a fantastic deal. Viewing the drink menu/happy hour menu was confusing. I didn't see happy hour listed anywhere, and the QR code only brings up "speciality cocktail" drinks without showing any of their beer or other beverage options. I got the individual 10 inch white pizza and it was soooo good. Garlicky, high quality tasting, gooey cheesy, and a firm crust. It's a decent size, I was barely able to finish the whole thing being very hungry, but not big enough for 2 people to share. Our friends ordered 20 wings, and they only brought out 11 wings. That was a huge discrepancy in the amount that we ordered (and paid for) and how many they actually brought. We brought this up to our server, and they kindly brought an additional 10 piece order of wings. The outdoor patio alleyway is very bland. There was only one TV set up throughout the entire area even during a massive sporting event, with another TV just facing the wall? Overall, the food is very good and the prices are fair when you catch them on happy hour, but there is definitely some attention to detail that needs improving. read more

The pizza and the buffalo wings at this location are amazing. The wings come out piping hot with an incredible spicy sauce that taste amazing. The pizza is also really good with the perfect amount of cheese to sauce ratio and the pepperonis taste so good. I've only had take out so I can't comment on the service but the bar looks like a fun place to get a drink. I will have to try going to the actual bar to hang out and let you all know what I think in the future. I highly recommend the food at this spot tho it's really good and comes out hot. The bars location is a hot spot in Culver City surrounded by plenty of things to look at and do and plenty of place to eat also.
