I tried this place out, and let me tell you, the food and drinks are mediocre, which was a disappointment.

I came here on the suggestion of a co-worker and I'm glad I did. I had the street tacos and their lunch burger special. The tacos were the best part of the meal. The asada tasted grilled and the salsa on the side was the perfect heat. The burger was also very good, but a little overdone for medium rare. I loved the bacon on it. It had a smokey flavor to it. This review is for the Eastside location. But it also fits the White Lane location and their slow service on our last visit. We went to the Eastside Monday night and had their .95 cent wing special. I got a 10pc, wifey got a salad, my daughter got a 10 pc. And my son got a burger. 1 order of onion rings and 1 order of fries, 1 tall draft beer and 3 sodas. $101 later and $14 on iTunes credit, the service could be the deciding factor. Their bar had plenty of people sitting at it, so of course they're making money on drinks. There was maybe 15-20 other people scattered around dining area. Not too busy, but for one server she was all over the place. Or so we thought when we could see her talking to a supervisor or manager. Whom I asked for Tabasco sauce and he said let me check. But never brought it or even an answer of we don't got it. I did finish my wings and we took our leftovers with us. Actually we gave it to a homeless guy outside and he was thankful and began eating them as we were getting into our car. I will not be returning to the Eastside or White Lane location in the future. Came on a Wednesday not knowing what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. First and foremost...the wings are delicious. The bbq wings were spot on. They had a Wednesday special of wings for about 6$. It was a big basket of wings, I was barely able to finish it. We had the micheladas as well and they were good. I had the savory Clamato michelada. I also ordered the sweet mango michelada. Super good except I would like if they added more mango instead of like 2 pieces. They had live music that night it was fun. Let me say I came here based off word of mouth! This was my first time here and we were dining in. This visit was everything you could ask for during a newcomer visit. We came here around 1130 am on a Wed. Luckily for us it wasn't as packed. I mentioned to the waiter (Samuel B) it was our first visit and he took a moment to explain the menu and types of flavors for wings they had to offer. He was very Friendly and informative. This place had plenty of seating, but they said it gets packed at night! Wing Specials are on Mondays & Wednesdays for $.65 cent bone in or boneless. I ordered the Bone in Mango Habanero & Gar-licky Parmesan , Flavors were outstanding! Their wings are high quality, unlike other establishments! Every wing had a fat chunk of meat! Also ordered the Chipotle chicken wrap. 10x better than Buffalo Wild Wings. They have fruit flavored lemonade i.e. strawberry and they are free refills! They also have live bands on Fridays @ 830 pm and Karaoke Saturdays @ 830 pm Happy Hour is on Mon - Sat 11 am - 5 pm, 9pm-closing and all day Sunday. Very disappointed in this place. It's been a little over a year since I been but WOW if this is how the business is running, I won't be back. To change someone's total without their knowledge is very unprofessional and down right a disgrace. For starters the visit itself wasn't great, barely even good. Was is so bad I had to write a review on Yelp, eh, probably not, but when I am told a total, they swipe my card &&they don't come back with a receipt and my bank is charged a different total then unfortunately I have too. Especially since the reply was "It happens all the time, I don't know why people get charged extra?" Like excuse me? chicken wrap was good, mac and cheese tasted buffetish. The two female servers were on their phones the whole time, then one was with her family who she let the kids run around screaming and jumping and climbing on the booth and table right next to us. Literally they were playing on the long booth to the right, right when you walk in, that's where we were seated. The family was on the opposite side of the restaurant, not with the kids. Did we care, a little but hey kids are kids right. So we asked for the check, lady came up said our total was $57. Ok, so we hand her the card she swiped it and walked away?? Umm excuse me but next step on the tablet is usually add tip, sign and get a receipt? None of that happened after she swiped the card... We didn't leave yet because we always tip and we never got a receipt to leave a tip So that threw us off right there. We notice the girl kind of side eying us? We felt odd so we check our account to see if anything was taken, and of course, an extra $12 was added?? For what? So we asked for a receipt, she grabbed it right behind her at the counter?! the total was $57.70... They can't tell us what the extra charge is, only that "they don't know and it happens all the time." So you're telling me you don't warn your customers that their cards can be charged extra? That's the establishment that's being ran here?! That's ridiculous. Then they say well if it doesn't change by tomorrow just come back??? Why would it change? Anyways it didn't change. We tip everywhere, we ALWAYS tip, my friend and I are servers we know the feeling, but to have to steal money is just unprofessional and wrong. OK this place is pretty cool but it's not really in our neighborhood or preferred neighborhood. We went there for a birthday party and they were accommodating with the amount of people with the tables and everything. They had karaoke starting at 8 PM and that was a lot of fun but if you don't like Latin music it's not the place to be because 50% of the karaoke was in Spanish. Now I would go back here if they had a full bar because they only have a beer and wine license. I have a hard time calling this a "Rock Bar" without having whiskey. I don't expect it to be Sunset Blvd. But EVERY Rock Bar has at least Jack. When we were leaving we realize how packed the place was and help pack the parking lot was with a lot of people that like to just hang around so I'm not quite sure this is a good location but since they have gotten really big maybe they will move to a better area in the future. :) read more

Was in the mood for wings 'coz it was Dodger game day. We googled and happen to choose this one which was further from the house. Glad we made the call to try it! The place was packed so you already know it's going to be fire. We ordered 20 wings and wanted to try as many different flavors. We got Original, Hot Honey Mustard, Garlicky Parmesan and Mango Habanero. Of course, my girl HAS to get a salad so she ordered the 661 Korn. While we waited for our order, we started off with some drinks. The waitress recommended the House Special Michelada and it was bomb. The wings came out hot and crispy, just how wings should be done! I love this restaurant. If you love music you will fall in love with the decor. The food is amazing, fresh and great quality. Go on a Sunday for the all day Happy Hour deals. The Rock n Wings salad is the best salad in Bakersfield. Add bacon and it becomes a special kind of wonderful. Have you ever been to a Hard Rock Cafe? And have you ever been to a Buffalo Wild Wings? If so, then imagine if those two joints had a weird offspring type restaurant... It would be Wings N Rock. This is a smaller joint with a few TV's, a full bar and a decent section of what I would call "bar food". The wings I had were very good. The staff was polite and helpful. i would have given 5 stars but the seating itself was a little lacking (if you have a stiff back you might want to take a painkiller before you go). Came here last night since we were craving wings and they are the best in Bakersfield. BWW is good also but they have very long waiting time and they take forever to bring your food. This place is small not over crowded and they sell micheladas and beer. They have their little christmas tree up. This place was happening. Food was good. Customer service isn't so bad. Happy hour 9-midnight on a Saturday night. Who's gonna complain about that? Love the kids menu for only $4.90. Highly recommend the quesadilla and Mac and cheese side dish. It's a good size for kids. The Mac and cheese melts in your mouth. Oh so good. Chicken strips with fries. We tried Rock & Wings for the first time last night. Our waitress, Alyssa was kind, fun, and welcoming. The wings and waffle fries were the best I've had in Bakersfield. The atmosphere was great for Monday Night football, and the beer was ice cold. I loved the way the place was decorated as well. I can't believe how quickly we got our food. Being here a dozen times I've always had the same EXCELLENT experience with the staff, and best of all they're the BEST WINGS IN TOWN. LOVE HOW THEY GIVE YOU SAUCE LEFT TO SPARE each time. I used to be a regular patron of this establishment. I'm so sorry to say but service has gone down over the last 5 months that I've visited. I'm not so very happy with my recent visit. It seems as if I'm not a customer here and neither is anyone else who walks in. The focus has shifted on being a welcoming environment to a nuisance to serve anyone who walks in the door. I think this company should really focus on some company moral boosting and costumer recognition across all departments. Side note: Samuel is amazing!!! This person should be in a higher position to control this team! My husband and I used to be regulars since the restaurant opened. We used to always go here with friends and family. However, service has gone down with all of the new waitresses we've been having. We just took my mother in law out to dinner on Halloween. First, my husband had trouble ordering my usual drink while I was out changing my son. I got to the table and he told me she was going back and forth with him saying that they don't make the strawberry sprite. So he ordered a Shirley Temple instead. Second, the server couldn't recommend a drink for my mother in law. She flipped through her notes she had and was telling us that the drinks we want have to be in the system. My mother in law requested she ask someone else for drinks recommendations but the waitress didn't bother. My mother in law just ordered a basic strawberry margarita instead. Third, when I received my "shirley temple", there was no cherry flavor to it besides the 1 cherry on top. I informed the server and she was arguing with me saying that she put the grenadine in it. I asked her to remake it. She grabbed my cupped, added the grenadine in it, and then used her FINGERS to put 2 cherries in my drink!! She grabbed the cherries from the container with other cherries in them and put them in my cup. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I was grossed out after watching her touch everything and then do that. Fourth, She brought out our food and the sriracha ranch we requested and then did not hear from her within the next hour, hour and a half. Within that hour, I seen other customers order their strawberry sprite without a problem with a different waitress. Fifth, I thought it was just me, but once we were done eating, all of us had food poisoning. Here I am , 2 days later, still running to the bathroom in the middle of the night as I write this review. Went for the first time on a Sunday for lunch. Place was empty. Took a few minutes to get menus, even though three workers were just standing there a few feet away. Got our drinks and food quickly. They messed up my nachos, I had asked for no sour cream. I had to explain that a few times to the waitress before she remembered.
