In a word, yum! We had really tasty dinner here. We split the homemade potato chips. Nice and crunchy and the onion dip was good too. The pretzel bread-sticks, served with mustard butter, were out of this world. Pure indulgence. The special salad was a Caprese and it was wonderful. Then we split one of their pizzas and it was really great with a nice crunchy crust and the flavor was terrific. The atmosphere and fun and loud but not too loud so you can't hear your friends. Went here for the first time last night and we were pleasantly surprised. It has a very comfortable, unique decor with very cool blue and green lighting. The staff was welcoming and the owner (who was so friendly) is around checking on customers and helping the staff. The food was REALLY good. Starting with the yummy pretzel rolls! I ordered the chorizo encrusted cod that was super flavorful and came with roasted potatoes and zucchini. My husband had the beer battered cod with fries. He loved it. The crust wasn't too heavy and was very crunchy. We had a side of mac&cheese and it was great. So smooth and creamy. It's a must try. There are plenty of specialty drinks and wines to choose from. Not that it matters to everyone, but it does to me, the booth was very roomy and the bench side felt so comfy. We are looking forward to any visit soon. read more

It's a reliable Cape standby, and things are mostly very very good here. On my most recent visit, I had a terrific server who did her best to make everything perfect, including bringing back a cocktail that was a bit heavy on the bitters for some modification. She also tried her best to talk me into the burger, which I have had many times before and is excellent, but I stood by my own choice of the Cuban sliders, and suffered for it. Heavy on dry sliced pork, absent of ham and lacking in the "dijonnaise" meant to hold the thing together, this was a disappointment. But the chowder and pretzel roll were outstanding, the salvaged cocktail very good, and the server friendly enough to make the evening a win. read more

I know that restaurants are desperately trying to recuperate the money they lost due to covid and the only reason I gave this place 1 star was because of the quick and efficient service but the food was TERRIBLE. 1st off, let me say that I drove 2 and a 1/2 hours down to the Cape because I just wanted to experience dinner in a restaurant with fresh seafood so I looked on Yelp and saw that they had a 4 and a 1/2 out of 5 star rating so I went. I figured they had a restaurant in Orleans that was still in business post shutdown so they must be great. WRONG!!! I should have read the room better because I would have seen that everybody was eating PIZZA there. By the time I realized it, I had already ordered my meal. What I ordered was a cup of seafood chowder and a seafood casserole. What I got was some watery knock off version of seafood chowder with barely any seafood or potatoes and as far as the "casserole"...this was BY FAR the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT. For $28, I got ONE scallop about 3 oz of haddock, two jumbo shrimp, a couple slices of mushrooms, two burnt SLICES of zucchini, 2 fingerling potatoes, tasteless breadcrumbs and WAIT FOR IT...all the sundried tomatoes one could handle in a sitting. So...$54 later, (including the $10 tip...What? its not my servers fault the food sucked) the best part was the half piece of sweet corn on the cobb. The food was flavorless but still left a bad taste in my mouth for this very underwhelming experience. read more

My family and I really enjoyed our dinner here! First off - the service is phenomenal! Everyone is extremely friendly and warm. Second - the food is delicious! I wish I could rate this place better. It has an adorable atmosphere and fast, friendly service. Our food was hot. However, the reviews and pictures made this place seem beyond amazing and it was a little underwhelming. We got the bacon wrapped dates with balsamic - delicious! The Lobster & Bacon Mac & Cheese was good - I enjoyed it, my husband was expecting more. We got the Mediterranean pizza and we both were a little disappointed. This place has it all! Their seafood is amazing, but if you are with someone who is not a seafood fan they have so many options. Their burgers & pizza are just as incredible as the seafood. Their drinks are so creative. They have a full bar and can make almost anything you could ever want, but I recommend ordering a drink that they came up with from their drink menu. The atmosphere is very casual but fun, making it a perfect spot to go to dinner with your family or out on a casual date. They are trying very hard to accommodate under stressful circumstances. Our waitress was exceptional! We had the wings as an appetizer and they were spectacular! The seasoning and toppings were soooo delicious!!! I highly recommend them. We got a variety of dinner food. It was all served in takeout containers but we had table service and ate there. The takeout containers do detract from the atmosphere but not the quality of food. My husband got the seafood casserole and loved it. It was much lighter than he anticipated which was a very good thing. I had the mushroom wood fired pizza (with plenty of leftovers). It was excellent! My son had the chicken hot wing wrap which he loved but know that it is very spicy. My daughter had fish and chips that didn't disappoint either. It was a great meal! If my husband were rating this, he'd give it 4 stars, but there were a few things that made me feel the experience was just OK. We had never been to Rock Harbor Grill before but live in a town nearby and they've been advertising about lowering their prices recently so decided to give it a try. It was a very cold evening and the hostess started to sit us at a table right by the door, but at our request, quickly sat us at a small table at the other end of the restaurant which was fine. The restaurant was a little dark and we noticed someone at another table taking out her cell phone to use the flashlight to read the menu, but we managed. Our server was prompt, took our drink order and they were fine. My husband ordered their prime roast beef special and I decided to try the wild mushroom pizza because I had read so many recommendations about their pizzas. We were in no hurry and it wasn't a problem when the server came out and said they were having trouble with the wood-fired oven and the pizza would be a little late coming out. At that point, my husband had finished his drink, and most servers would ask if he wanted another. He would have given his line, "It sounds like a good idea, but no." But she didn't ask. She delivered the meals. And then never came back to ask how everything was. (The restaurant was about half full.) My husband loved the prime rib. The mushrooms on my pizza were fresh and wild, but way over-salted. Otherwise, the wood fired pizza was good and what I expected. The manager came around a couple of times to refill water glasses--nice touch. The server took our credit card, not much interaction, and we left. Are we going to go back? Yes--$28 for a good prime rib dinner got my husband's attention and I know there will be other menu choices for me. Wanted to branch out from the restaraunts in town and liked menu and reviews so drove the 20 miles to get here. Was not disappointed. They have an eclectic group of item that stimulates the imagination. I could not resist trying the Brat and Beans. To be honest I did not like this meal as a kid but wanted to see if I would as an adult. Loved it. Complete with Brown Bread and gherkin pickles. This is a lovely restaurant along the Rail Trail that has great outdoor seating during Covid. We came in Oct 2020. There was an outdoor tent plus tables that were not enclosed but had heaters nearby. White Christmas lights everywhere, nice ambiance. Food was good but not great- pricey for what we got (seafood casserole was a bit disappointing), but we were treated like royalty and stayed for hours. The owner even came over to make the table closer to the heater when he saw that I was chilly. Gave a good beer recommendation with a free taste, too. Nice place. read more

Came here for dinner with family after a hurricane and couldn't have been a better relief from the storm. The mussels were superb and the salmon was cooked perfectly and so fresh. With lots of competition in the area, I would come back here before trying some place new. The service was attentive and especially nice to my toddler (not all waitstaff are exactly eager to have a toddler at the table.) the drinks were fantastic too. The wait here was insane for a Tues night but the locals clearly support this place. I could see that the pizzas were excellent and the cooks were busy with lots of pies to go. The food was good. I ordered the seafood casserole which was tasty but festooned with a lot of potatoes. Service was also good but you can see they are exhausted and probably frustrated that half of their tables must be kept empty now. I think the best best is to enjoy a drink outside with the comfortable chairs and pizza on a nearby stool. read more

Came for dinner during a trip to cape cod. The host was accommodating to us and our desire to sit outside (covid), although it meant sitting in 2 chairs that were meant more to have a drink (wasn't much of a table to put our food on) so was a bit difficult to eat gracefully. We got the Thai mussels (which were a special)- they were good although the sauce was a bit sweet- and the seafood casserole, which was also good. Our main complaint was the price to portion/quality ratio, particularly the seafood casserole- there were 2 shrimp, 2 scallops, and some flaky fish that was kind of mixed into the sauce for nearly $30. Don't get me wrong- ive definitely paid close to that for a 4 scallop dish at a gourmet restaurant, but this place did not meet the ambience and inventiveness that is included in the price you'd pay for fancy food. This is our " go to" place at least once a week. Nice Cape Cod vibe, casual and cozy. Great food and service. I love the citrus glazed salmon and my husband loves the fried clam bellies, burgers, pizza and we've never had a bad meal here. The food was tasty! My burger was filled with delicious ingredients that made the whole burger come together. Ocean decorations filled the walls and really set the theme.
