I've been waiting to come here for a long time and I finally made it (Well my boyfriend ordered carry out). The food came out super fast so that is a plus. My boyfriend and I ordered the same thing... double philly cheese steak burger with cheese fries. Zero stars for the fries they were tasteless even with the cheese on them. We were not impressed at all. The burger patties were the same type you might see at any fast food joint - thin 1/4 liners and dry. Their rocket sauce is like a thousand island but much sweeter with a bit of spice (heat). The other ingredients and sides we had were ok but nothing special. We won't be coming back. read more

This place has gone downhill. Food is over cooked and just lazy. This place used to be great. The quality of food has severely dropped. My sandwich bread was chalky and they put nothing in the sandwich no mayonnaise, mustard nothing. They' don't even ask. They put a side if oil and vinegar with your order. Rocket burger is my favorite burger joint in the valley. I used to work close to the metrocenter mall and this was my go-to lunch spot. My personal favorite burgers are "New York Burger", "Eddie Lopez Burger" and the "Afterburner Burger".. But I don't think you can go wrong here. Not only are the burgers + fries awesome, but I love looking at all of the different varieties of bottled soda and making sure to get a different bottle each time.. The owner is awesome first off, always ready with a smile and service. Second the menu is packed with a variety of burgers, hot dogs, and gyros. Favorite being a double bacon cheeseburger but recently been favoring the really spicy Afterburner Burger. Third the gimmick. Is one thing to have a cheesy gimmick like yelling at customers when they come through the door. Rocket burgers got something a little more unique. Imagine you take your friends or parents to get a meal and are asked if you'd like to get bottled soda that you've never even heard of and you guest says no way they still make that? If you buy 5 of their hundreds of bottled sodas, then you get one free. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are awesome. I would go more often, but it is very warm in there during the summer. Buffalo Chicken and the Afterburner are great. Very messy, but good. Fries are awesome about 3/4 of the time. The other 1/4 of the time they are average. First of all the hamburger was dry with no taste, the pastrami sandwich was an insult to a New Yorker. The pastrami was sliced way too thick and was bone dry.
