I swear this place has been around for a long time. As we were picking stuff up at the food court we decided to stop by the chocolate shop right next door. It's pretty small in size but there are a lot of choices. It wasn't busy and I was greeted politely. They had an assortment of different covered apples. They all looked so beautiful it was hard to choose from. I got the one that had nuts and chocolate on it. The apple itself was a green granny apple and was crunchy. Now, the bad is that the stick didn't stay which sucked... I couldn't bite and walk at the same time. We got some truffles that were delicious. The outside was hard but soft at the same time and the inside was filled with creamy Nutella. I can never say no to chocolate covered almonds! YUM! So I got a hand full of those. I want to say that the apple is around $13 and it all came out to a little over $20.00. This place definitely took care of my sweet tooth!

Mold inside the candy apple. Disgusting and disappointed.

Came from out of town to go shopping here at the concord mall and Just went and bought a few chocolate caramel apples since the one near us closed down a few years ago. Right when I got home I cut one open and there was MOLD. Totally disgusting. Very disappointed and really wanted to enjoy the apples but had to throw them out. These apples must have been there a long time and I guess they are still selling them? I will be calling in the morning to hopefully speak to a manager since the store is closed now. Will NOT be going to this store again. Very unsanitary, disappointing and disgusting.

Beautiful view inside Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory! So much chocolate! I wanted some chocolate covered raisins, but I had to avoid temptation. I was looking for a larger variety like See's Candies, but I like variety that was in there

I have passed by here numerous times, but decided to stop by once and for all. I noticed they have their huge bear back, whose cute name is Truffles. They have a variety of chocolate and candies throughout their small shop, varying from the caramel apples to their truffles. The service was rather nice, despite being busy on a weekend. I had a nice lady assist me throughout the process, even giving me a free sample of their potato chip drizzled with chocolate. I can say that the service here is really nice and kind. Dubai Chocolate: I have never heard of this before, so I had to give it a try. The price is a bit steep for one bar of 10 squares ($16) but it was rather delicious. It tasted like pistachio to me and the portions size is rather fair. Overall, I did enjoy the chocolate overall. Potato Chip with Chocolate Drizzle: Now this was something I did not expect myself to enjoy. It's a combo of salty and sweet and I thoroughly loved it. The chocolate tasted amazing to go along with the potato chip. When you bite into the saltiness, you feel the sweetness of the chocolate come through, making you want to eat more and more. Though the 7 oz bag is about $10, I feel like I can go through a single bag a day if I did not control my self. I recommend everyone give this one a try if you can. Overall, I can see myself coming back here, especially to get more of those chips.

Every chance I can get to spoil my daughter, I try. She loves caramel apples. Quality/Quantity - Kit Kat Caramel Apple - Good, not sure if it is $12 good, but good nonetheless. At least the apple was crispy underneath all that chocolate, unlike the last one I got her in Chicago; see other review. Chocolate is their speciality; see picture of the menu. Atmosphere - Small local business. In the Sun Valley Shopping Center. The center has plenty of parking as it does not seem like a popular mall. Also take note of my Sun Valley Shopping Center Mall Yelp; make sure you secure your car and do NOT leave any chance of a break-in. Service - Good, they were making samples of the caramel apples. Price - $11.45. Owner Suggestion - Congrats to Frank, the Founder and CEO of Rocky Mountain and his success since 1981 with 360+ locations. I am surprised that you do not have a better website?

Located on the bottom floor, right next to the large food court. Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory provides a variety of chocolates, fudges, toffees and candied apples to choose from. With a large selection of anything sweet, this place is great. Food: 1. Toffee Candied Apple {3/5 stars, $11} - A little pricey, but I have tried this apple before from other locations and was delicious, but this apple was a little dry, and toffee tasted stale. What I found, is this apple is best eaten after cooling in fridge, which made it taste a whole lot better. Service: Ok. Two workers, one a cashier and one making caramel. The employee seemed annoyed that I was interrupted her chit chatting and seemed like she did not want to be there at all. Overall: It was a nice treat, but this location does not live up to the standards of other Rocky Mountains that I've been to.

"Viral Dubai" Chocolate bar with no knafeh crunch inside.
    Madelynn K.

They advertised the "viral Dubai" chocolate bar so I decided to try their version. I was highly disappointed. There was no Knafeh inside so there was no expected crunch. So, buyer beware. This is nothing more than a chocolate bar with pistachio crème in the center. They're selling these bars for $29.95 which is not worth the misleading advertisement in the window.

Came upon this place while shopping at the mall. I love caramel apples, so I was intrigued when I saw them through the store window. At first glance, you'll notice all the sweets, perfectly packaged and arranged. There are so many different sweets and apples to choose from so I went with one chocolate covered strawberry and one of the Rocky Road covered apple. They were both mediocre at best. The chocolate strawberry taste like something I could have made at home by myself, using nutella. The caramel apple was by far a sweet treat for me. I like that is was completely coated. The ladies inside were nice... But I would say my overall rating is a 2/5 stars.

First time to visit the Rocky Mountain and the service is great! Bought the Assorted Chocolate which the price is good. If you are a dark chocolate lover I recommend the Dark Chocolate Almond Cluster, forgot to take a picture but its actually good. I saw that they have also a dog treats. Worth to check it out

I'm always a fan of caramel apples and whenever I see a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Shop I always want to get one. I was in the mood for something with caramel, chocolate, and nuts. Another customer recommended the Almond Bear Apple which had all of that. I didn't realize it's almost $10 for a gourmet caramel apple! They can cut it up for you which I recommend is easier eating. I just wished my apple was a little more crunchy. They have gourmet chocolates and other apples available, I wonder how old the apples are. This shop is located on the first floor of the Concord Sunvalley mall and they take Apple Pay. They also enforce social distancing.

It's refreshing after a big dinner. The apple is huge, and it easily can serve 8 people with a good size wedge. The literature that comes with the apple says it can serve 8 to 12 people. It's best to take the apple out of the refrigerator 8 hours before serving so that the caramel and chocolate are easily sliced. Amazing Chocolate Class & Delicious Treats!…read more I'm rating this based solely on the chocolate class and their chocolates--I haven't visited their pop-up store in Concord, but I had the pleasure of attending their class in Oakland. First off, the chocolate is absolutely delicious! Second, the owners are incredibly kind and accommodating. The entire family is so welcoming and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. We were lucky to have our class led by the owner himself, Michael Dunn, who made the session both informative and fun. Parking was conveniently located right in front of their Oakland location, and we were fortunate to have a smaller, more intimate class. Everything was well-organized--from the hairnets and aprons to the chocolates and dipping stations. They shared insights into the chocolate-making process, along with a bit of history and its significance, which added a cool educational aspect to the experience. This is such a fun activity, whether you're with family, on a date, or even solo. Honestly, it would also make for a fantastic work team-building event! And the best part? Taste testing! Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. Thank you for an amazing class and incredible chocolates!

We ended up choosing the Vietnamese coffee (limited time), cold brew coffee, fresh strawberry, and banana nut. The ice cream was delicious !! We love it sooo much! The flavors are incredibly strong . My favorite was the banana nut! Taste just like banana bread. Sooo yummy! I will definitely return and try new flavors. I heard their next flavor drop is black sesame (must try).

LOVED this spot. Don't tell anyone but I parked illegally to go get some ice cream since there was…read moreno parking to be found after driving around for 10 minutes. Well, it was worth it. The ice cream was SO good and gluten and lactose-free. I got 3 flavors and they were all excellent. My favorite was the rocky road, and I loved the chocolate sauce as well. The gentleman who works here was super nice. Felt like talking with an old, friendly neighbor I have known for a long time.
