Not happy, the rep didn't do a good job of explaining the pricing on the chocolates and on top of the price of the box you pick out, I ended up spending $98 on chocolate and it was very busy so instead of saying no and putting everything back I just bought it. I can't believe the rudeness today , Tuesday January 20, 2026 at 3:00 pm. I came in , grabbed my disabled husband's candy, and waited in the line by the cash register. The inattentive service person snaps at me 'can we have you in the line over here (pointing to the long winding ribbon for people ordering from the case. ) I just want to wait my turn to pay. I've been here a dozen times . They never used to force me to walk in the border to the left for ordering at the case! My back is killing me. I've been caring for my disabled husband with Alzheimer's for some really rough days . Up till 11pm trying to get him to use the CPAP . He ripped it off again. Then he had an accident after 4am and I had to clean him up and get him back to bed. I just want to pay for his candy and get off my feet for 10 minutes before I have to start the evening meds, drops, supplements, meal , hydration and hygiene. Get off my back please! read more

Twice so far this year, I have purchased See's gift cards from Costco to use at this See's location on Monument Blvd. With gift cards from Costco, you are essentially getting $10 worth of chocolates for free! (Pay $40 for $50 value). I love this See's store -- so roomy, clean and cool inside. Each time we visited (weekday afternoons) there were 2 staff people on duty. Each visit, they welcomed us as soon as we stepped foot inside. We purchased a 2-pound box of custom selected chocolates and the young woman helping us was more than patient and kind. I believe it was the same person for the past 2 visits. She inquired which chocolate we would each like for our free sample chocolate to enjoy then and there. At the register, again she was patient and helpful -- as I swiped the gift cards, she would state the remaining balance after each, then stated the final amount due. My boyfriend and I purchased 7 items from this location on Saturday September 26, 6 of them were gifts for a upcoming family trip and 1 was for ourself. When we got home, we opened the can of Toffee-Ettes we got for ourselves, and found it tasting incredibly stale and even a bit of bitter. We have always loved our sees candies, they have been holiday gifts and family gifts ever since we remember, so we were sure that normal Toffeeettes does not taste like this. We went back to the same store on Sunday, asking for a refund. Because the rests are gifts and there is no way to be sure about the quality of those, we felt uncomfortable giving them as gifts to our family. Holly N was the only sales associate at the store. When we asked her for the refund and explained our reason, she cut me off while I was explaining to say " we don't do refunds". I told her that I read the sees candies "60 day's satisfactory guarantee" on the website and it does say I am able to return them to a store within 60 days of purchase, in which she just replied that they don't do refunds, and if I need to refund I'll have to send an email to corporate and start a whole process. I tried to ask her how long the process will take, which then she sarcastically replied something alone the lines of " well if you read our website then you should know that it's 90 days".... HOW RUDE ! I was only just trying to protect my rights as a customer. At the end, my boyfriend and I just decided to switch out the bad box + the other box of "toffee ettes" we got as gifts, hoping that maybe the quality and we were just unlucky and got a bad batch. But this definitely left such a sour taste in our mouth for getting unexpected - sarcastic and rude service. I went back home and re-read the satisfaction guarantee on the website and was unable to find the 90 day requirement or any email I need to submit a refund request to in order to. The website says " If for any reason you are unsatisfied with a See's product you purchased from us or one of our authorized sellers, we will gladly provide you with a refund or replace the candy free of charge." Holly N, you did not help us with our problem and you absolutely need to work on your customer service skills to not be so sarcastic and fake nice. I bought a box of candy online and picked it up. They used to offer a free piece of candy but not this time. Very disappointed.

My sister and I just left this location a little disappointed that there were no Scotchmallow in the whole store. The associate was very kind and explained she had none at all, so we ended up leaving with just 1 piece of dark marzipan. What's going on sees's this had happened to me twice now. Tool me 35 minutes to purchase my candy, with three people working. I have a fundraising account and no one knew how to input my account number so that I received the correct discount. For every major holiday or occasion my Grandpa always buys my Grandma 2 lbs of dark chocolate Bordeaux's. It is her favorite candy of all time. I know what you are think that is a lot of chocolate to receive and she must share. Everybody knows See's candies and their legendary chocolates and candies. If you are shopping for Christmas, Hanukkah, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day or other popular holidays, be sure to shop early as it can get crowded. Right now, during Covid they are only letting 7 people into the store at a time. It is the Christmas season right now and the line outside is pretty long. There were only 4 store clerks so busy that they would forget to let people in. They should appoint one of their store clerks to be the door monitor and keep the line flowing. Yes, they still give free samples and now during Covid they give it to you inside a little wrapper. But I noticed that because they are so busy, they aren't consistent in offering free samples, which one customer was ticked off about, you have to ask for a sample and they are happy to get you one. read more

My boyfriend mentioned to me that he had to bring a surprise gift to work for one of the nurses in his office, as part of a Halloween secret gift exchange. He was asking for help, so I suggested chocolate and wine. BevMo's Back From the Dead Red (wine) and See's Candy to the rescue! I figured I'd go to this location because the Dollar Tree is in the same plaza and has gift bags and ribbons to complete his "Boo-ing", (usually I go to the one on Contra Costa Blvd.). I stopped inside on my lunch break and was surprised how big this store is!! Bigger than the one I'm usually at and it was empty! The small storefront you see from the parking lot is very misleading. I grabbed a couple of the Halloween assortment boxes (each under $8) and then ordered a Butterscotch square for myself ($1). Those are my favorite!! Since yesterday was National Boss' Day I wanted to take a few boxes back to work as well, but one of my bosses is vegan and See's doesn't sell any chocolate that doesn't contain dairy, so unfortunately that idea didn't work. This is the best See's Candies store I've been to. Very clean and large interior, with extremely friendly employees! The lady greeted me as I entered and offered assistance several times. Apparently within about a 5 mile radius there are at least two See's Candies stores and I couldn't be happier about that! See's has always been a guilty pleasure and after finding out about their second Pleasant Hill location, boyfriend and I had to check it out. Not really coming with a purpose, we popped in and realized that the girls (my nieces) could benefit from some edible Easter gifts. I nabbed some Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs while boyfriend was far more clever capitalizing on their fudge lollipops with a few chocolate mini-bunnies. I think he later made a quasi-candy bouquet out of them. He's always trying to show me up! Just like the other store down the road, the ladies here are a sweet at the candies they peddle.
