Service was great -- our waiter Isaiah was attentive and attractive in his western hat. Food delicious. Seating either indoor or outside. Ambiance very western with a big photo of John Wayne inside. We opted for a late breakfast which did not disappoint. We'll be back.

On a rainy, blustery February day, we were visiting Temecula old town, looking for a place to have a late breakfast. As usual, most places were packed with waiting lines 20-30 minutes long for a table. Then we spotted Rodeo Cafe. I know what you're saying: If there was no line out must not be a great place to eat. I had the same initial thought, but it turns out we were both wrong, my friend. There was no line at Rodeo Cafe, covered Ava heated patio seating available immediately, and only a 5 minute wait for a table inside. We waited, and they ushered us in to a warm spot where we could await our table being prepared. While we waited, literally every employee who passed us by greeted us, acknowledged that we were waiting, and assured us our table was nearly ready. But the good service didn't stop there. We were led to our table and provided excellent service there as well by Malorie. She was pleasant, friendly, and very helpful. Our meals were delicious, and beautifully arranged. And the prices were more than reasonable. Great atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. I know where we're coming back to when we visit again!

Portions were humongous! I literally had to take half my plate home. This was a great brunch place to eat at after a night of drinking. My huevos rancheros plate with red sauce was yummy. Super filling! Good service. Free parking at the public garage.

My friend and I came here for dinner and the food was just ok, nothing that I would come back for. I had the Cowboy Salad and the steak had an odd texture. I did have a hiccup with being overcharged, but they were prompt to address the situation. Breakfast seems to be their jam, so I might come back for that.

I love their breakfast! Generous with portions, tasty, and great price. Fast and friendly service. Enjoyed the outdoor dining especially on the weekend, can't beat a good breakfast and the old town vibe! Staff were attentive and courteous. Looking forward to my next visit.

Super cute decorations for the holidays and the staff were all really friendly! I love that the patio area was dog friendly and brought our dog a water bowl while we were dining. The food was really good! The flavor was good and it was nice large portions! The green chilaquiles were delicious and the rodeo potatoes are a must try!

We had family visiting so we decided to try Rodeo cafe. The patio area is good sized and was decorated very fun for Dia de las Muertos. Located in Old Town Temecula, parking is recommended at one of the public parking areas like the parking garage near city hall. I had waffles, eggs and sausage, it was delicious. Coffee refills kept coming, the service was great. I'd definitely go back.

This is a solid Mexican Restaurant. Came here after a long golf outing. The cocktails are delicious, especially a cold blended margarita. Ordered the taquitos and beer-battered shrimps. Staffs were attentive and friendly. Got all our orders correct.

Today was my first time here, and I got to say this place was Fantastic!! Food was Amazing! I was very surprised to hear that they serve breakfast until 3pm. Im Always missing breakfast at restaurants because I love to sleep in on my weekends! I had a Bloody Mary and that was perfect too!! They gave me a Rose for mother's day which I thought that was very sweet! I asked about their Menudo and they brought me put a small bowl to try! Bomb!! Service was Great! Everyone was Pretty attentive!! Clean restroom!! I will definitely be back!!

Wow, wow, wow!! First off, the service was excellent--thank you to the hostess and my server. The chilaquiles were AMAZING. Perfectly crispy, and then topped with that incredible meat sauce. Truly outstanding. Thank you for bringing back childhood memories of chilaquiles.

Rodeo Cafe is located in a prime spot in Old Town right across the street from 1909. I was excited to try the food because I read good reviews and the interior decor looked charming, especially for the Christmas holiday. It is rodeo themed with horse saddles on display and barrels as part of the decor and furniture. The facility was kept clean and the service was great. Unfortunately the food was very mediocre at best. The chicken fried steak looked like a processed meat patty, and the green chilaquiles were just okay in flavor. The best part of our meal were the potatoes and the hash browns. There was also a small strand of hair in my food. I wish the food was more appealing because the service, atmosphere, and location were great.

I am so glad this place replaced BEGOOD. I thought begood was overly priced and I didn't care for their selections. We had the 1/2 lb burger and it was huge and big enough for both myself and wife to split. We got it with Fries and paid $6 extra for side salad. Everything was good...its nice to find at least one place where you can sit off front street without killing the wallet. 1909 is fine, but the menu and "vibe" is a little "preppy" for my liking. Rodeo Cafe's steaks and burgers at a reasonable price is much more up my alley. The food was good and prices were reasonable, but nothing stood out yet....will try more next time we go...but for now this is our go-to to replace 1909 when we want the oldtown vibe. We of course stopped by the ice cream cone place on our way home. While I may suggest the restaurant is "nothing to write home about", it is in a prime location of old town temecula. When we want that "vibe", it is currently our "go to" for that purpose. I like "Swing Inn" better, but this is at a better location, and nice for a change, and much prefer it to the 1909 menu and preppy feel, and think the prices are much better too.

He sold us on the appetizers. I read some reviews on options and chose the pesto pasta dish... I give it 6/10. If you don't like anything spicy, watch out for this dish. There's red pepper flakes in it. I didn't read it was slightly spicy, otherwise would have done without it. The chicken was the best thing from that dish. My husband enjoyed his bread-less burger! Ginger ale taste good with anything! We even got the special water from the springs.. Bathrooms are super tight! Why do they make bathroom doors to open inward?'!! I guess since it's a right squeeze don't want it to hit someone coming out. Btw this is a favorite spot for the locals! It got super busy after 6pm!

The fried potato chips seemed like they just opened a bag of chips and tossed it on lol but still good. The burger was juicy and I loved the jam on it. It complimented the bleu cheese very well. I was so surprised the carne asada fries were actually good as well. It did need some more guac though. When I went to ask, they said it's not actual guac and just smashed avocados. The minute you walked in, the ambiance just wasn't it. Perhaps because we were the only minorities there and everyone else wasn't (including the staff) but it was uncomfortable having people stare at us while we were eating and having our own conversations. Someone came to get our drink order and then it took a bit of time for our actual waiter Leila to come take our order. She did mention she was doing something else. we ordered the steak and frites and their pork chop which was the special of the day. I ordered my steak medium rare and the rest of the table ordered it in medium. When the steaks came out, the waiters seem confused as if they weren't sure which plates went where and when asked if that's a medium rare steak, they stated yes. That steak was medium and it was also dry and under seasoned. It was also tough and chewy. The fries were either undercooked or overcooked. Chimichurri sauce had no flavor to it. We did also order the cedar salad which was delicious. Their calamari and wings were as well. At the end of the night, Leila asked our friend how he liked his steak because it didn't seem like he ate anything. He said it was okay and she kept insisting you can be honest and kept pushing the matter. This was extremely uncomfortable because there was no need to make him feel like he was put on the spot. while I understand the need to want feedback, if your guest says it's okay and seem uncomfortable, maybe leave it at that. She then came over to me and asked about my steak and again saying, "you can be honest." Why wouldn't I be? I did tell her the steak was cooked incorrectly, that was not a medium steak and pointed out that it was dry. There was this awkward silence at the table because honestly there wasn't a need to keep pushing. Simply asking how was it would have suffice. They did end up comping my steak which was nice of them however the entire experience just wasn't pleasant. From the ambiance, to the crowd, to the food - wasn't worth it.

It was a Tuesday afternoon and there were a couple of customers there already. We did have to wait for a service but since he was the only one there, it was understandable and it wasn't long of a wait to get served and business was on the lighter side at the time. Once he took our order, the fries came out pretty quickly. I like the location as it is on the north end entrance of old town Temecula and one of the first businesses you see. The seating outside is great especially on a nice day and over looks the Main Street. The music blasts k-pop songs which I love since I am a fan of k-pop. The bathrooms are clean and require a key to get in.
