Came in for a quick bite with a friend and was super impressed. It's a lowkey barn vibe type of place with a lot of character. The service was really well, my server suggested this tang margarita which was super good! I tried the cheese fries with brisket chili on the side. It was super filling and shared it with a friend. Had 8 for lunch took less then 15 mins to seat us all. Most everyone got some version on the DCC BURGER . Loaded fries to share ( easily 2-3 people can share ) parking lot was crazy crowded. read more

I think this is the OG Rodeo and my favorite. Definitely a nondescript looking building, but casual and welcoming on the inside plus some nice patio space. Fries are not my favorite, but that's fine because the chips and queso are amazing and pair well with a burger. Servers hustle for sure, but are always around if you need something. Decent selection of beers, love that they offer quite a few local options. Don't go to Dallas and miss out on Rodeo Goat. read more

Was visiting Dallas area from California and looking for a convenient lunch with good reviews. So I ventured to yelp and this place popped up. I was impressed when I walked in at all the choices of seating. The weather was beautiful, so we opted to sit outside. Bloody Mary was bomb, as was the burger. I don't normally post a long negative review but.... Our family went to eat there on Sunday. Although the rest of our family had no issues with their food ( how can you mess up a burger?), my Cobb salad was one of the worst salads I have ever had. It looked and tasted like it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. It was so soggy and the greens were pretty wilted. My husband had the queso and it was sub par. Our waiter was soo slow. He brought us our drinks and didn't even wait to see if we wanted appetizers. When we finally got it ordered along with our food an hour and 30 minutes later, he didn't think to bring plates out to go with the appetizer when he brought it out. We ended up flagging someone to get us plates. Just not a great experience this time around. That hour and 30 minutes we waited to even get our order in would have had us sitting next door at Gloria's as we're on their wait list. read more

My family and I had supper here last evening. We love this spot! My cheese burger was delicious, and the fries are always good too. But our service from Reefe Harrison was superb!!! He was the kindest and friendliest server I've had in a long time. Very attentive and was also very helpful with my burger order. It was perfect! Thanks RG for a great dining experience! We stayed for the night in Dallas and multiple folks recommended this place to us and we have zero regrets coming in. Jada, our waitress, was amazing and made the best recommendations!!! The drinks here are amazing but the burgers were some of best I've had my entire life, hands down. The goat balls were insanely good, savory and sweet! I had the bodacious burger, my friend had the chaca Oaxaca and and Mike Rawlings and everyone loved theirs!! I have to say this is my fourth time here at rodeo goat and I always seem to order the same thing a salad. I'm celiac gluten-free and I find that some of the service really have an attitude about it. Become a little pissed when ask them the ingredients of the marinade. Or you try to make a substitution because the tortilla chips are fried in the air fryer, which could lead to cross-contamination but they have Fritos for another dish on the menu. Didn't think it would be a big problem, but apparently it was. I think that the owner is great in having an foodies hamburger bun. But what I was just told was avoid anything fried on top and you could have it but there's nothing to eat with it. Everything else is fried otherwise a side salad it's eight bucks if you want to spend that you can. But I'm not putting this place down. It is a good place. If you don't have gluten allergies. People are having fun. Drinks are plentiful TVs everywhere and overall the services really nice. Most of them are very friendly people. read more

Our second time here; it's just stupid good! This time I ordered Bodacious and it ticked off all the boxes: Smokey bacon, spicy jalapeños but the smoked jalapeño Mayo made you want to lick the plate. My husband got the Hatch me if you can. Absolutely delicious. Tge fries are nice as be crispy and have the perfect amount of seasoning and at our request some spicy ketchup. Mmmm. Rodeo goat is definitely a DFW must try. They have a variety of burgers and appetizers! Great bar restaurant with a fair amount of mostly Texas craft beers with very creative burgers. Service was good, I sat outside. I had the Bad Hombre burger which had mango pico, which worked very well with the sautéed onions, candied bacon, Gouda and cream cheese with Habanero, (was not as spicy as I expected). YALLLL!!! We went in thinking it was just another burger joint and man were we wrong! The cheese fries (no surprise) were delicious. The fries were hand cut and covered with cheese and bacon and cooked to perfection! The ranch also tasted like it was made in house, it was amazing. We also got the Bodacious Burger and it had a good kick from the jalapeños but the flavor was amazing! The other burger was just a basic bacon cheese burger but it was sooo good! Our waitress was amazing with all of our questions and made sure we were taken care of. We went when it was like 20 degrees outside so we sat inside and it was not too loud like a lot of places when they are packed. There is outdoor seating but again too cold. I've been here before years ago but I forgot how delicious it was! My friends and I went with our dogs and sat outside. Even though it was hit out, they had ample fans to keep us cool. We were served by the wonderful Troy and he was great. I ordered one of the burgers of the week which was the Dad Bod. My goodness it was delicious! It's was so big that I needed a to go box. Honestly it was even better the next day! My friend and I ordered a half order of cheese fries and thank goodness we only got the half because it was A LOT. Parking: stupid. lol some had to park across the street. Nah, it's an ok sized parking lot but it was full. Ordered: Bodacious burger (replaced bacon with the candied bacon they offer) 5/5 Margarita (5/5 felt that buzz) Moontang (3.5/5, too sweet) Our waiter was friendly and fun. This burger was everything. I kept repeating how good it was. I *thought* Twisted Root was the GOAT. BUT Rodeo Goat is better. Now, I'm looking for my top 3 burgers in the DFW. This place was pretty hyped up to me so it may have become a victim of its own success. Lunch time crowd was strong and parking can be tricky. They have tons of seats inside though and outside so once you park your car, your butt is likely to find it a tad easier to park. Food, let's start in the fries. Nicely seasoned fries. A good crunch to them. Burger was the hot bastard. Meat was medium. They didn't ask and I'm fine with that as that is how a burger should be but ... You gotta ask peeps as some like their burgers how they should not be. It was not very spicy but had good flavor to it. Some of the toppings like cheese and sauce were at the bottom. Overall good burger but I honestly do not get the hype. It's a solid burger place but there are many others and this place stands amongst them but not above. Rodeo Goat is truly an experience for the taste buds. If you are looking for a good burger and like to be a bit adventurous then this is the perfect place. They have a wide variety of specialty burgers with all kinds of toppings. I'm usually not adventurous, I like a basic burger but I tried the Dad Bod and wad truly amazed. The fried mac and cheese patty on the burger really hit the spot. We also got the cheese fries surprise to share and it was huge! Plenty for 4 people or even more to share. The fries were seasoned and piled on with cheese, jalapeños, chili brisket and who know what else but it was tasty. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside which was nice, right by the river with picnic benches, some cozy seats, ping pong table and fans to keep you cool. One of us ordered a soft serve vanilla, and nobody told her that the machine was down, so what she got instead was a cup of half melted Blue Bell soup...are you kidding! Thanks for the prompt refund, but letting your customer know what the situation is in advance goes a long way. So, we tried it. Add a notch to the Dallas belt. Maybe that's the style, but I kind of expected a bit of a crunch to it. The flavor all around was great. Our waiter disappeared (I'm assuming his shift ended?) without warning or letting us know someone else would step in. If I had to sum it up, it was almost like we were invisible the whole time we were there. Service can make or break an experience--it broke it for us. I'd consider trying the Richardson location in the future, but I think it'll be a while.

We were lead to a large half moon shaped booth nestled in the corner; which was large and plush. Plenty of room for us four and honestly at least two more people. On our table was a place card that said Happy Birthday to my partner which was a nice touch. Our waitress arrived and very pleasant and helpful. She asked if we had questions and gave us some highlights of the menu. We ordered another round along with Meatballs Troubadour, the Heavenly Sourdough and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice. The Heavenly Sourdough and Meatballs Troubadour were absolutely the stars of the show! The meatballs were flavorful and juicy. The marinara sauce paired wonderfully with the sourdough. For entrees, Dry-Aged Delmonico, Pomme Puree, Crispy Brussels, Honey Truffle Chicken and Whole Lobster Spaghetti. All the food was divine! To wrap it all up we of course ordered the 24 layer strawberry cake. The cake was bought out with a candle and 4 glasses of bubbly which was a very nice treat. Drake's met all my expectations and more. A huge thank you to the manager stopping by to make sure all was well throughout our meal. And also our waitress for her professionalism, knowledgeable and all around pleasant vibe. Drake's is now on my love list!

By far one of the BEST burgers I've ever had! Not only that, but our waitress Mae was outstanding! I'll tell y'all, I've been in hospitality for many years, but this girl was a breath of fresh air and a ball of energy all in one. We just came in from a rough day at work and she was attentive from the moment we sat down, greeting us with waters without being asked, engaging us in the menu and answering all our questions- she had a whole schpeal since we had never been ( and she's quick to mention she's never met a burger she doesn't like from the goat! Well said!). She helped my partner choose a burger called the Chaca (what she described as a "fiesta in our mouths"- couldn't have said it any better after a bite!) and I chose the Brad Sham with crispy bacon as she recommended! We also started with the steaming pile (I won't ruin the surprise for y'all, but it was 10/10 in my book!) Mae also took the time to go through the extensive list of beers that were presented to us even though we could tell she was busy; she insisted on bringing us tasters of the beer so we could find "something we love". I fell in love with the Peticolas Sit You Down or I'll Sit Down for You? Haha, it was something like that. Delicious. Bottom line. Super attentive waitress. Super personable. Funny- she told us a few family friendly jokes while we waited for our burgers- definitely enjoyed that! You can tell she loves what she does. Always a plus in my book! As much as I love a good burger every now and then, I'll always go back to a place that has excellent service like this one does and I'll be sure to ask for Mae EVERY single time. I'm in Dallas frequently for business. First time at rodeo goat. Went in last week for a late dinner. It was packed. There was a small wait for an inside table. Full bar. I decided to sit outside. Pros: the fans and misters, the cold beer and the service.* Cons: parking looks to be small. I walked from my hotel, so who knows. The service. It's a contradicting statement only because it was clear some of the staff didn't care about us. I sat at a long picnic table, next to several other groups, for almost 15 minutes, two brunette female servers clearly not very busy, sitting down with other tables, walking past my table, every couple minutes, one even made eye contact with me. However, no greet, no menu, no "hey, I'll be right with you." I walk inside to go grab a seat at the bar and I'm greeted at the door by a tall blonde, she's balancing a tray full of beers and several credit card books in her hands, but stops and asked if I was doing alright. I asked if she had a table available inside, explained I had been sitting outside for awhile without service. Right away, she apologized and grabbed a menu and asked where I wanted to sit. She followed me to the table I chose and brought water. While I was looking over the menu, she brought over a few tastes of newly tapped beers. That was a nice touch. Even turned on the preseason game for me. Reasonable prices. Good food. Mae was awesome. Attentive. And definitely turned my dinner experience around. I'll definitely be stopping back by. Next time, I'll just know to ask to sit with her. A solid 5 stars for me. read more

Used to be good, today my buddy and I both had the monthly special the peticolas burger at 11.50. it was billed as having Italian seasoning but was really bland and dry. I ordered mine medium rare while my bud did medium. Took 25 min to get which is a little long for here but they were on a wait. Runner shows w our burgers and slides them in front of us. I say, medium rare, he fumbles, ugh, umm, ehh. I am like can u tell from the pick? Umm yeah, yeah that's med rare. It wasn't, cut mine and it was all brown/gray, not a lick of pink. My buddies too. Now the special burger of the month. Ugh. Too much shit on the shingle. The slaw made me think of that jingle from the 70s , slip, sliding, away! Bacon, 1 strip on half the burger. Fried avocado slices, no flavor and cold. Onion ring, cold too. Either our food sat in window waiting to b run or they assembled items that had been pre prepped and fried. Our waiter was the saving grace, pretty easy on eyes, but as he even admitted, he was the worst waiter there. But the way that t-shirt fit, yum. He could of been dessert but we ordered his balls, the goat balls that is. They were good, not great. Like I said, waiter was heavenly hot, but not very good. I heard lots of hoopla about how amazing the hamburgers are at Rodeo Goat Ft. Worth. With that in mind when they opened in Dallas me and my partner wait no time to check this area out. With no doubt I can guarantee that, their hamburgers are among the best 5 hamburgers in Dallas now. The menu features many different options of hamburgers, including the Chaco Oaxaca, with steak and chorizo, avocado, pico de gallo, fried egg, queso fresco and Tabasco mayonnaise, and the Olivia Beloved, with green olive tapenade, lettuce, tomato, roasted red pepper mayonnaise subsequently other options with chopped cucumbers ,caramelized onions and herb cheese spread. The mixture of ingredients seem amazing and it gives a great flavor which resulted in wonderful fresh ground hamburgers with perfect collection of topping and totally fresh cut chips. In the event you are a burger lover, you will need to eat here at least once or even twice. Setting is new, informal and comfy, had a great first visit and loved quite good, fresh hamburgers and chips. Fine selection of craft beers on tap including my favorites Ballast Point Sculpin IPA and 512 Pecan Porter. Pub is fully stocked as well as the service is excellent. read more

Seriously. THE BEST BURGER IN DALLAS. Yeah, it's a "chain" (I guess?) but it's a local chain. Each location is so so so good. But Dallas is definitely one of my favorites. I love hitting them up for lunch. Get there early or go for a late lunch because it can get busy - even with COVID. But don't worry because they're spacing, safety steps, and all the cleaning they do completely put my mind at ease. I've also had several great curbside pickup experiences. Called in my order. Called when I got there. They brought my food right out to my car. No contact or anything like that. FOOD: I either go for the Bodacious or the simple DCC. Always fries and I'll get a mix of the Sour Chips and Sweet Chips sometimes if I'm feeling extra crazy. DRINKS: Incredible beer selection. Great local options and some of the best options from across the US. They have that Flying Saucer DNA, so of course they have great beer. The Moontang and the BLTX are awesome, too. YummO!!! 4 of us "over 50's" came here for a burger and to catch up. We were a bit surprised the place was not very full, but then we remembered it was Monday night. It is open seating so we wandered thru the dining area and settled on a booth. The place is comfortable and not pretentious but I did find the music pretty loud. That is only my criticism and nobody else in my group said anything about the loud music. Since we are all watching what we eat, both couples split a burger and an order of the chips. The burgers were great. The chips were great too. Two of us had a beer, one had water and the other an iced tea. We were full and satisfied and knew we would come back for more. Each couples bill was around $16 without a tip, but only because we shared a burger. We thought it was a great little burger place and can't wait to come back. Super delicious every time!! I've been here so many times and everyone loves it every time. I've gotten the brad sham several times, one with brie and caramelized onions (I forget the name), my husband got the sugar burger, which he thought was good but wouldn't get again. We often get burgers off the battle of the burgers, so I can't find the names now! But we've loved all of them. We've gotten the cheese fries surprise as a group of 5 a couple of times, it was okay but you have to eat it while it's hot because once it gets cold and soggy it's kind of gross. We usually just get the hand punched fries which are pretty standard and good. We love the outside seating and wish they had more tables. The old chairs with random short blocks as a side table are cute and quirky but hard to eat at! read more

One of my favorite places for burgers in Dallas. This casual dining friendly and relaxed place serves up the tastiest and most delicious melt in your mouth burgers I've ever experienced. I have to be careful not to eat here everyday. My favorite burger is the Candied Burger, which marvels the taste-buds with it's caramelized onions, grilled peaches, jalepeno jam and tantalizing candied bacon. The fries are fantastic and always fresh. If you're not in the mood for a burger I suggest the Cowboy Cobb salad, it's huge and you can split it between two people. The marinated steak grilled to perfection is tender and this is one of my favorite salads when I am doing the no carb diet. Rodeo Goat is hands down the best and I can't recommend it enough. read more

I can only write a review about the games and goat balls. Just with those two alone, Rodeo Goat deserves 4 stars! Spoiler alert on the goat balls - they are NOT real goat balls. Although I was excited that it might be, I was glad it was a dessert. A deliciously fried dough ball with brie cheese and some blackberry sauce on the side. Nom nom nom! I could have eaten the whole dish by myself. The menu has a LOT to offer (food and drinks) and I'd highly recommend this place if you're looking to chill and have a good time with friends. They have an awesome bar area and plenty of seating elsewhere. I can't wait to go back for a real meal (not just the dessert) and play some checkers! read more

My friends and I honestly just popped in to see what the vibe was, and we notified a TON of empty seating. We took a table by the front window super close to the bar, and ended up spending most of the night here! The drink are super fab! You could order your usual vodka soda, sure. Oh mannn where do I start?! I always think I've had the best burgers after I try so many of the best burger places, but once I ate here I think this lands in my top 2 favorites! It was extremely busy but the food wasn't too long of a wait - definitely worth the wait though. The Neil Young veggie burger was tasty and interesting but a little dry. Texas caviar is delicious. Salmon burger was yummy. Sweet potato homemade chips had a weird flavor. No one at our table was a fan. The fries are the hand cut fries and pretty good except had a lot of salt on them. And the goat balls for dessert are a must. Oh but if you want to go for lunch order quick because when we went on a Friday for lunch it took them 45 minutes to bring out the burgers after we ordered. Rough looking sports bar with kind of a dark, industrial interior but fun with games and friendly staff. Of course there's a stuffed goat over the bar-that's what I wanted when I made my friend go there. We sat on a patio overlooking a creek and gender that was delightful in the early evening light. They provide so tasty and juicy burgers that I can't stand do not eat everything. They use only fresh and with a high-quality meat. They have good balance of salt and species. Me and my friends come here regularly, and organize something like burgers day. Also they have a good selection of beers. Prices are acceptable. Service is good. Despite its peculiar name, I must say this place is quite fantastic! Plus, who can resist the charm of goats? The food is genuinely delicious, and it seems you can't make a wrong choice from the menu. The service is prompt and attentive, and our server was well-versed in the menu, especially regarding the various beers they offer. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating, perfect for pleasant weather. The ring on a string game was a cool addition, bringing a touch of nostalgia from my childhood home. The burgers were huge and overflowing with great flavors. Very clean, loving, and inviting place. This quite large place and it has pleasant ambiance. Cool interior setting especially the bar area. It has great drinks and so refreshing. Amazing options and perfect with the burgers. Great effort in making the beef patty so delicious and tender. The Cheese fries surprise were so flavorful and very tender. The Mike Rawlings burger was one of the best burger. The outside was so cool and has great seating too. read more
