Pretty extensive menu with some pretty interesting looking burgers!! I got the Hot Bastard and sweet potato fries. I just got the burger as it came, it seemed like it would be good as is. And it was! Had a spicy kick as you'd expect. It was very busy when I was there so there was a bit of a wait for orders to be taken and for the food to come out however, again, it was pretty packed so I'm not gonna begrudge anyone some delays when things are busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I sat outside as it was a nice evening albeit slightly chilly and I didn't have a sweatshirt or jacket but that's my own fault.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd definitely go again but I would also definitely get something other than the Hot Bastard - not because there was anything wrong with the Hot Bastard it's just the are so many good looking burgers on the menu I want to diversify!!!
Always love coming to rodeo goat! Super casual spot in the design district with a variety of burgers. The cheese fries are also a major hit (make sure to try their ranch)! I tried the burger of the month (dad bod) it was good but not as great as the my usual. The service is always great and the servers are very friendly.
Great burger spot with Texas beers on draft. We had an our first meal here. The queso and chips were delicious. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some cold beers. Loved the selection and the draft of the day is $4. Can't beat that. Service was friendly. For our burgers my husband got the dcc burger and added bacon. He liked it but nothing to write home about. I had the blue jeans burger minus the jalapeños--it still had a kick to it very minor it was very blue cheesyyy and messy to eat. And very filling. I loved the sweet potato fries. Stopped in with friends while in town because they wanted a burger. I got the bodacious burger with a side of fries and it was so good. Juicy burger with the right amount of toppings and bbq sauce. Service was quick even in the middle of the World Cup. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wasn't too loud inside and it's open seating so you don't have to wait to be sat which is also nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
This place is chill, drinks are delicious , food is great and good prices! Came here several times while in town. The servers are all really nice too. Everything my group tried was great. A good place to catch a game or hang with friends.
Nut allergy friendly: I had no issues here! Arrived around 7:20 PM on a Thursday night and it was packed! They seemed to have a good amount of parking but thankfully it was walking distance away from my hotel. Order-to-Entree: 17 Minutes I easily found a table for two and there's ample indoor and outdoor seating. We got our beers pretty quickly, and our main courses came decently quickly as well. The burger was juicy and the sweet potato fries were solid. They've got an amazing diverse burger menu and I can see why it's a local favorite. Would definitely come back again.
Rodeo Goat is easily my go to burger place in DFW. I'm not even a huge burger person, but whenever I'm actually craving one this is always where I end up. I've been to several of their locations and every single one has been consistently great. The burger names sometimes change depending on the location even though they're the same burgers, so keep that in mind. I usually like trying the burger of the month competition, but the whiskey burger is always a safe choice and it's amazing every time. The cheese fries are just as good and never disappoint. The decor is really fun and the atmosphere is always lively with a good crowd, and the service has always been excellent. It's one of those places that just feels reliable no matter which location you visit.
We were staying nearby for the Lights All Night festival at Dallas Market Hall, so this place was convenient to stop by walking distance. Seating is of your choosing with long tables and movable barriers to adjust your party size accordingly, and a server will help you out. It's cool they make it like a farm as there is a whole other section of seating called the pen, which is kid friendly. We got the Rip Wheeler special burger which has coffee rubbed beef patty, black pepper bacon, Dr Pepper BBQ, and smoked gouda. We don't really see these types of specialty burgers in other burger spots we tried, while the familiar truffle burger, etc on the menu were more common. The burger ended up being fantastic and bursting with flavor, with a bit of a caveat that it's on the saltier side. We also got the cheese fries with surprise which has a boat load of fries and brisket and chili, and it comes with sides of ranch and ketchup. It was super filling and large, and while the menu said $13.99, we got a fantastic surprise that we only got charged $6.99. For drinks, we got a cider which was filled to the brim (I'd say 24oz?) for $6 which is an insane deal. A pint in our city of residence usually runs $8-10. But I guess when in Texas, everything is huge! For the 2 of us, we shared just 1 burger and 1 cheese fries with surprise and we still had a small amount of leftovers! Value wise it was great because the burgers are about $11-14 before tax, with affordable sides, desserts, and drinks. Service was decently attentive despite it being super busy so I give them props for that. There are periods with brief waits but it's understandable based on the staffing to customer ratio in a busier than usual lunch service.
[[HIGHLIGHT]]Oh, my! What a fun and delicious treat this place is.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with wine, beer and dessert (hey, life is uncertain so we ate dessert first). If you love brie cheese, these are a must have. Goat balls are fried brie cheese with blueberry compote...so yummy We both had turkey burgers which were moist, well seasoned and the best I have ever had. Highly recommend this already super popular spot!
This place is HUGE indoor and cool outdoor spacing it must be a nightly party but we went mid day during the week during the calm. I've been to the Fort Worth location and yes, this is a solid burger. Even my picky eater kiddo ate the kid sliders to my absolute delight! The fries were a miss although they look great, they tasted kind of meaty, like maybe cooked in/ with meat juice. We couldn't eat them so that was a waste of food and money but the burger stands strong alone. Our server was great, and I like they don't make you feel rushed to get in and out. Worth a stop when seeking a burger and beer.
To be honest...I just thought it was going to be better. We had super high expectations because of reviews we had received from friends but the food was just kind of average. I ordered the Billy F Gibbons and it was okay but there were several issues. First, the burgers are much smaller than they look online so they threw us off a little. Second, the bun on my burger was extremely dry. I asked several others in my party if there was as well and they said yeah it kind of seemed that way. Also, when I was looking for the cream cheese and mango pico, it was very sparse. Probably about a teaspoon of cream cheese and about the same amount of mango. Just not what we were expecting. Everyone said their food was "okay" but nothing to write home about. I will say, our server was very nice and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant had a good "hang out" vibe to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Oh and the fries were pretty good. Maybe we can try again and cross our fingers for a better burger.
Visited this Rodeo Goat before a concert at Silo. Pretty busy on a Friday night here but still amazing service. Ordered a ranch water it was great. I like they offer burger bowls here!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great spot to meet with a group at![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
Really chill place with a good bit of parking. I went in on a Tuesday afternoon, and sat at the bar. They do have a few tvs there so you can probably catch your favorite game! There's more than enough seating, but I do feel like it's more seating than parking.. I can see it getting really packed if people went in if they had something on. They also have outside seating which looked pretty nice as well. My food was okay, nothing to really brag about.. but the Service was nice. Be aware that the menu is mainly meat. They did have a vegan burger option though if needed.

Whenever people say they want to get a good burger in the Dallas area, 7/10 times they're talking about going to Rodeo Goat. Their reputation is having burgers that are hip and unique, and the menu options are definitely that. They also seem to change their menu over time, so you will always have something new to try out every single time you go. Ambience is great. They have an outdoor patio and long tables inside for larger groups. One issue is that my burgers are never cooked to my temp (I ask for medium and always get well-done burgers). Also, the fries are pretty soggy which is surprising for fries that look like they've had extra time in the fryer. The flavor and seasoning are just right though and the fun additions (e.g., fruit or jams) make the burgers solid. read more
SO GOOD!! Started off with a sweet tea and it was really fresh, best I've had in Dallas. We got the frito pie as an appetizer which was really good, it consists of Fritos with a layer of ground beef, I requested lettuce, red onions, tomatoes, and lettuce on top. It was a hard decision to make out of all the options but I ended up getting the Bodacious burger, it was so juicy and flavorful, not so spicy to where I couldn't enjoy it! It comes with bacon, crispy onions, grilled jalapeños, pickles, BBQ sauce and smoked jalapeño mayo. I chose smashed fries as my side and my friend got sweet potato fries, both were amazing. For desert we got a vanilla milkshake to share, which was really good! We also got the pumpkin spice goat balls and they weren't our favorite, it was overly sweet but that's okay. Totally gonna try the cow patty next time! The inside was very low key, you can pick from booths or high tops. They also had a bar and there were plenty of tables for large parties. Their menu is so big and there were lots of sauces to choose from, the staff were very friendly, and service was quick. Will definitely be returning, I left so full and content. read more

Great place with great service. I got the Hola, Señorita burger with fries and it was amazing. I sat at the bar and was well taken care of by Harley. Good vibe good food Good music. They got a great craft beer menu too if you are into that. Will definitely be back if I can. read more

First time here. Looked at the review on yelp and google which helped me picked this place out of the other choices. This place had good reviews. Great atmosphere. We ordered DC and bobolicious burger...not too sure if the names are correct but these burger are right next to each other on the menu. Burgers were okay. Fries were cold and dark as if they hadn't change the oil in the fryer for a long time; worst fries I ever had as it was soggy. I don't know how a chef would serve up something of this quality. I don't know how this place got so much reviews maybe we came in on a bad day at the wrong time. Table service was definitely good. The two stars is for the quality of the food only. We also ordered the Cobb salad. I like the idea of having steak and deep fried jalapeños. Steak was cooked perfectly but jalapeños was not crispy. Salad was okay but could use a little bit more work on presentation to make it look more appetizing. read more

Pretty cool restaurant with some good burgers. Rodeo Goat seems like a joint that would exist in a place more like Austin instead of Dallas. But good for Dallas being able to have a place with character and a bit of uniqueness. We ordered a few burgers including the Chaca Oaxaca and the Bodacious burger. Also, we ordered Cheese fries Surprise. Everything tastes good here, but I can safely say that I'm not a fan of the prices. You're definitely spending about $50 minimum for 2 and probably close to $100 for a family of 4, just for some decent burgers, fries, and drinks. Not really worth it. But if you want to eat some good food and eat somewhere new, I'd recommend checking Rodeo Goat out. read more

THERE IS A REASON THIS PLACE HAS OVER 2,000 REVIEWS AND ALMOST PERFECT STARS!!!! Y'all... where do I begin? Food: THE CHEESE FRIES. Get them, period. The half order still can feed two. The fries are fresh cut, and the cheese isn't the nasty nacho cheese, jalapeños are fresh, and the ranch is housemade too! It was so good! May I even say the best cheese fries I have ever had. Now, to the burgers ! I picked out the Chaca Oaxaca ! The patty was the real star of the burger! Seasoned to perfection and a mix of beef and chorizo. My friend had the Big Tex and baby it was big! Drinks: Now, we didn't have alcoholic beverages... but what we did have was some BUSSIN Oreos milk shakes! When they came out, just from the look I knew it was about to hit my soul. You couldn't see any vanilla ice cream in it! They served them with chunky straws so the cookies wouldn't get stuck up in there! The whip cream also looked like it was made in house. It was amazing!! To prove that it was made right I even included a pic of the Oreo chunks at the bottom of my shake. Service: As soon as we sat down we were greeted by a super friendly waitress! She was genuinely excited that it was our first time there and suggested her favorites. She made sure to check on us often and see how we were enjoying ourselves. I've heard good things about rodeo goat, and I finally tried it out. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint!! They have ample seating indoors with a nice patio outside as well. They have so many different unique burgers with something for everyone. The nice thing is they also have options for chicken, veggie, and impossible burgers that can be put into any burger. I wanted to try so many of the different options! Ultimately, I got the White Animal Burger with chicken which had pickled onions, mushrooms, and gruyere cheese. This was one of the BEST burgers I've had. Also my friend and I got a side of sweet potato fries. There were so many fries that her and I couldn't even finish it! The prices of the burgers and fries were very reasonable. Highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be back! read more

Loved Rodeo Goat! This was my first time and I must say it won't be the last! We sat ourselves and the atmosphere was super chill and informal. They had a cool back patio but we decided to sit inside. I wish our waitress was a little mor attentive or reachable but she was great nonetheless. She knew the menu and gave great recommendations. My nephew loved his build your own and the other actually ate the grilled cheese we ordered for him in its entirety which says a lot! I love my burger and both the regular and sweet potato fries were great! We will definitely be going back. read more

We came here for dessert, because how could you not go check out a place named rodeo goat! It was near our hotel and we just kept walking by the signs. I can't speak to the other food but the milkshakes and the desserts were great. The desserts also came with hilarious names like "goat balls" - fried bavarian-creme filled dough with a blackberry sauce, and "cow patty" a piece of chocolate sheet cake with ice cream. It's a series of long but high topped table seating where you can hang out with your closest friends or not-friends. Both the desserts an the milkshakes were pretty large portions. I had the feeling the server was disappointed that we were just there for dessert or maybe it was just a bad day. Not particularly friendly, took a while to get our order in, and longer to get her attention to get the check. Came to Rodeo Goat to satisfy a burger craving. The place was packed even at 9pm. I had to circle the parking before finding a space. The place is large and can accommodate people fast. For bigger parties there was a wait, but they have a catch the ring on a string on the hook game. I had the Brad Sham burger, which was amazing. The meat was juicy, and all the toppings were well prepared. The Cobb salad was really tasty as well, it also came with marinated steak on top and jalapeño poppers. The steak on top of the salad was a bit chewy, the flavors were delicious. Not to mention the pinapple hard cider I got was refreshing. I got the sugar burger but wasn't that impressed. We got in and out very quickly and milkshake was good although very basic flavors. The bacon was floppy. I did opt to add goat cheese based on someone else's review because I love the goat cheese with sweet but wouldn't recommend that. Maybe that made it too much for me. First time here for me, fourth time for my mate. Walking into this place, you instantly know this is going to be a badass burger and beer. Western theme with country music playing, this is a solid place to watch NFL or any other live sports. We ordered their themed burgers 'hatch me if you can' and the 'wild fire,' we ordered both to see what the hype/ competition is all about (They have a scoreboard to display which one is a customer fave). We both thoroughly enjoyed the 'wild fire'! Their fries are a decent size with just the right amount of salt and truffle (not too much). Lastly, we couldn't leave without trying their milkshake, their cookies and cream was delightful and full of cookie bits. There are two more locations now, one in Plano and one in Fort Worth. Will be visiting the others soon! read more

Pretty cool place to come and hang out with the friends or to even catch a game. The chili cheese fries are amazing! Def need to order that it is a must! It's too much for one person I recommended sharing the fries. One draw back the fries have is that it has TOO much chilli so maybe request them not that much be added. Ok the burger. The burger is very good but next time I would not get chorizo on mine. It overpowered the rest of the burger, I know I would have enjoyed it more if It didn' have the chorizo. Literally the best turkey burger I've ever eaten. I could tell it was a handmade patty based on the texture. The berry bousin cheese on top is absolute money. It seriously took a basic turkey burger to a whole new level. The salad was fresh and full of toppings. Lunch service was laid back, friendly, and easy to get in and out. I had the goat perfect burger. Beef patty, fried goat cheese. Fig jam, Aragula, whole grain mustard and a goat side salad. This is easily the best burger I've ever eaten in my life. Excellent burgers and beer at this Rodeo Goat location. Top shelf and fun service from our waitress Harley for our table of 8. She offered great menu recommendations, service and humor. A couple in are party asked Harley to pick their orders for them. They were not disappointed. The burgers were stupid good and the longneck beers were super cold. If by "ya'll" you mean me at my house - then NO on grill day we only offer 100% gluten included hamburger buns.

No more than $100...and after that threshold is reached. The remaining tips are given to the Owner. They call it the Amy's Baking Company Model...enjoy~!
