We were really excited to have a Brazilian Steakhouse so close to us and tried it out for a friends birthday last night. I give a lot of leeway to places within 6 months of opening because I have worked in the restaurant business for a long time and I understand that it takes a few months to work out kinks and really get a good stride going. I also think if you don't provide honest feedback, they won't know the areas they need to improve on so that is why I am sharing this feedback. We will definitely be back but will wait a few months to give it another try. This is definitely a casual place and is kid friendly, which is nice! The Good - The food was good and with the price is $20 cheaper than FGdC, that is a win. Some of the meat was delicious but much of it was way over-salted. I like a few of the different things but the surprise winner of the night was the ham! The BEST part of the whole visit was the meat cutting team - particularly Josh and Jason. They were funny, offered as much meat as we wanted, brought us back things we knew we liked and didn't forget about us when at first it took awhile to get anyone to offer us meat. Improvements: The service was absolutely horrible. We had 6:30 reservations and despite the place only having maybe 10-12 tables, it took 20 mins to get our table and the hostess was clearly new and uncomfortable every 4 mins would come over and tell us she was still working on it. Then it was another almost 10 mins for a server to come (by this point one of our guys was starving and just went to the salad bar). It was then another 10 mins to get water and the owner/manager was the one to actually bring it. Our server brought us teas with hardly any ice so it wasn't great and then we failed to see her the majority of our evening. We were literally passing around waters because we were all so thirsty (salty meat) and no one was coming to check on us. At FGdC, when you get your plate and "flipper" the come at you from every angle to fill your plate. Here, it was a long time before our first meat came (it was pineapple) and then fish and then finally meat. After we were laughing with the guys, they came to us more but it was a really rough first 30 mins. She did sing to our friend but forgot to bring one of our desserts. The salad bar is ok - nothing impressive and the dessert was awful - clearly boxed cake and not good. I think the strangest thing of the night was the music - we went from spa music (weird), then like house/club music and then there was a banjo country song. It really made it impossible to figure out what kind of vibe they were really going for and really changed the atmosphere. They do a great song and music thing for birthday's but after hearing it 3 times, I can imagine on a Saturday night, that would get a little annoying and especially its frustrating to see your server singing when you are dying of thirst. read more

We had the opportunity to visit Rodizio in Annapolis Mall earlier this week. There were a total of 6 of us - 3 couples - and we had the best experience. Food was spot on -awesome variety - too much but had to try everything - we were not disappointed. The servers were attentive and entertaining. We did make a reservation and seated immediately. All covid regulations were in place and we felt very comfortable. Overall - great time was had by all of us and we didn't leave hungry. We'll definitely be returning. read more

I had much higher hopes for this place... I have eaten at countless Brazilian steakhouses and thought we would give this one a try but it was NOT worth the drive, or the money. First we sat down and our waitress took our drink order and told us about the 2 food options 1 is salad bar only and the other includes all you can eat meat that they come around and serve. We ordered the complete meal. It took well over 5 minutes to get our drinks of a Makers Mark on the rocks and a Jameson with club soda, not hard to make by any means and we were 1 of about 5 tables so it was not that they were busy or anything. When she returned and put them down it was clear based on the color of the drinks that both the Jameson AND the Makers had been watered down when only the Jameson was supposed to be, we said something but they told us it wasn't. The salad bar was scarce - it was 7pm so you would expect they would be keeping it up for guests to continue to come throughout the evening vs maybe if it was right before closing but a lot of the hot bar items where empty or had a few scrapings stuck to the bottom left like the pasta was all dried up, not appetizing. So we figured we would stick to the meat. The meat came around in a decent rotation but the parmesan crusted and garlic crusted where way over seasoned like indelibly over seasoned... The waitress never stopped back to check on us after bringing our first round of drinks and after 40 minutes of not seeing her come by, we decided it was time to leave so I had to go find her in the back to ask for my check. Then when she took my credit card and went back in the back she spent over 5 minutes chatting with co-workers so we had to go get her again to finish the transaction. On a not busy night, the lack of attention to us was inexcusable. I don't know about you but if im working for tips and Its a slow night im going to cater to every table I have. Also, things where dirty. There were 4 glasses on the table we sat at and 3 of them where like cloudy and white with dust and fingerprints and I asked for new glasses. There was a big chunky brown spot under one of the placemats like spilled beans or something and they "wiped it up" but you could still see where it had been because they did a poor job of it. Overall, it was a waste of money and I will not be returning. With several other options for Brazilian steakhouses in town, no reason to stop at this one. read more

This location is open for takeout and delivery. My family and I stopped by for dinner on the way home from Ocean City last Saturday. It was our first time trying them out and boy we were not disappointed. The wait staff was patient and great, making sure to explain the menu to me before taking my order. The waitress was a nice person, but we waited for at least 20 min before being asked what we wanted to drink and for her to approach us. The people serving the meat were also really nice, I can't stress that fact enough. However, they seemed to serve the clients seated in the center of the room more often than the people located on the sides. It was a lovely experience nonetheless, but I feel that they should be mindful of the patterns in which they walk when serving the meat as to serve both the center and outer tables sufficiently. read more

Enjoyed our experience at Rodizio in Annapolis last night. Nice selection on the hot bar and salad bar. Delicious variety of meats that were consistently served tableside. Service was great. My only suggestions would be to have salt & pepper on the tables & it would be nice to have at least one more option for seafood along with the fish that was served. Or even multiple options of fish. My family ate here a few days ago and we were all truly impressed. Each offering of several different cuts of beef, chicken, pork and lamb was delicious as was the side dishes--totally Brazilian. The fried pineapple was like a dessert in itself. Service was EXCELLENT. The owner and servers made sure that our every need was attended to. Lovely atmosphere--we will definitely go back. Food was delicious, the meat servers were friendly. Compared to Fogo is definitely in the running for this type of food dinning experience. 5 stars from me and the lady. I feel compelled to write a review after reading some of the prior posts. We had wanted to try Rodizio's since they opened, but hadn't gotten around to it. We finally got a chance yesterday and I made a reservation. I'm not going to lie, after reading some of the reviews I was a little nervous. We were greeted immediately and seated right away. It was a little early for the dinner rush (definitely didn't need a reservation), but there were a few people already there and we weren't seated on top of one another. Our server introduced herself as soon as we sat down, explained how things worked and took a drink order. Our drinks were back before we even had time to settle in. The salad bar was clean and everything looked fresh. I'm not going to say it's the best salad bar I've ever been to, but it was definitely enjoyable and there is something for everyone. Once we decided to start the meats, it was non stop delivery. Some were prepared better than others, but again there was something for everyone. The gauchos were super friendly and had no problems carving off meat. During the whole process our server checked in with us numerous times. When it came time for refills, fresh drinks were brought to the table and the other glasses were immediately cleared. The manager was also present and stopped by on more than one occasion to check in with us. You really couldn't have asked for better service. There may have been some initial kinks they needed to work out when they first opened, but it seems to me they've figured it out. I would definitely recommend checking it out and we'll definitely be back. read more

I went to the Rodizio Grill on Saturday night to celebrate a birthday. After being seated I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was a lady in the stall. When she came out she began to complain to me that someone had urinated on the floor. She proceeded to rinse her hands with water, grabbed a paper towel to dry them, and turned to leave. I said, aren't you going to use soap? She was at the trash can near the door by this time acting like she didn't understand my question. I repeated myself, aren't you going to use the soap and she just looked at me....I left the bathroom and as I was walking down the hall the lady came out and showed me that she had a hand full of soap and I replied, "good for you". I was walking toward the food and the lady came out trying to have further conversation with me and I told her to leave me alone. She insisted trying to talk to me but I kept walking away. Eventually she spoke to my man telling him that she was the owner and she was trying to let me know she was the owner. Later while I was at my table she came with a plate of greens with a gloved hand. I'm saying all this to say eeeewwwww she used the bathroom and was only rinsing her hands with water. On the surface Rodizio may look like a slightly cheaper alternative to Fogo De Chao. Unfortunately Rodizio doesn't even compare. The beef selections are fattier. When a meat selection is described as Parmesan pork I would expect the taste of Parmesan. Rodizio has a wet Parmesan coating on the pork which doesn't have much Parmesan flavor. If you like hot foods from the "salad bar" they do have more options there but the cold foods from the salad bar is a smaller selection. Service was slow across the board. Late on a Friday evening with large sections empty and it took them about 10 minutes to figure out where to sit a party of 2. The waiter went past our table a few times before finally stopping to acknowledge. By this time the host had jumped in and filled our water classes. The waiter tried to blame things on staff being out and a slow sink (huh??) Even the gauchos were few and far between. The gauchos at Fogo De Chao are running around fast and furious. They stroll lazily at Rodizio. They also don't know their meat temperatures. When someone asks for medium rare you're not going to be able to pass off medium well. We didn't even bother trying dessert - we went and got ice cream at someplace we know is good. We went, we tried, we won't return. read more

We went here for Valentine's Day, but it was not crazy busy when we arrived. We were seated right away (we made a reservation) and that's where things went downhill. It took over ten minutes for our server to come to our table. Then it took another 10-15 minutes to get our drinks (both were non-alcoholic). We were seated in a section with just six tables and one stayed vacant the entire meal. Every one of the other five tables, including ours, complained to the server (when she finally came over) because there were only 2-3 people with the meat skewers who came to our section in more than a 30 minute period and we all had our block flipped to green. The actual food is mediocre at best. Honestly, don't waste your money. Go to Fogo instead. You'll be happy you skipped this place. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because of one of the servers named Erick. He was friendly, helpful and had a contagious smile! That being said...skip this place! read more

I cannot say enough amazing things. The food is amazing, the staff is super attentive and friendly. I'm used to much more expensive Brazilian Steakhouse places where they roll by with chicken and sirloin every 10 minutes and you wait and get a chance at something better once every 20-30 minutes. Not what I would recommend! The meat had little to no seasoning and was tough including what we were told was tenderloin. The chicken wrapped in bacon and Parmesan pork were both good. We went last night and had a great time...I HIGHLY recommend it. In addition to the delicious cuts of meat and plentiful side dishes, I particularly noticed how well-run the restaurant is. While only open 2 weeks, the waitstaff is very knowledgeable and has the poise of a team with far more tenure. Too many restaurants treat the host stand as an afterthought, but Rodizio's greeters have a great sense of warmth and hospitality. Also, their craft cocktails are REALLY good. Disappointed! I do not recommend the Annapolis location. I visited this location on 01/12/2020 @ 1:30pm with a reservation that was made 2 weeks in advance for a party of 30 people. Our waitress staff were great. The bad were the kitchen, the bar service, the Manager and wait time. The staff are inexperienced in what they do. We were there for 3 hours and i saw meat come around to my table maybe 6-7 times in that time. I asked for a manager and he didn't seem to have any answers or offer to comp off some of the bills after 90 mins of being there. He didn't understand why the servers were taking so long with the meats or why the bartender was taking forever to make drinks. He say he would go see about it and push more meat out, another 20 mins went by and not 1 sever. This place is not worth the price. Better to go to Fogo de Chao if you want to eat well. This event was a Birthday, we had balloons and decor. I would think the manager would have came over to introduce himself or thank us for coming for a visit with that size of a party we had. You would think they would have expected us and be able to throw more meat on the boiler but this didn't happen. The wait was long in between meat showing. This place won't last long if something doesn't change. read more

SO MANY customer service failures! Went for my sons 25th birthday. Our waitress was terrible, she should have been in training still. All the other employees were wonderful, the ones who bring the meat around were so polite. That was the best part. While the steaks were all tender and tasted good, and the parmesan pork was terrific they were all WAY TO SALTY!! Chicken with bacon was not terrible but one piece good the second very dry, some other kinda chicken with the bone in was terribly dry and couldn't even chew it. Way too pricey, $29.99 for some side dishes is ridiculous and even worse, my daughter became ill when we arrived and was in the restroom sick and when she talked to the manager because all she ate was a few grains of rice, he didn't make us by the $42.99 for the meat option she had requested but they charged me the $29.99 FOR A TABLESPOON OF RICE!! That IS NOT customer service! When the manager came around to see how it was going and I explained that I had been waiting for water forever, he aplogized and asked if he could bring another round and I said yes the birthday boy could use a beer. He brought it but charged for it!! And they even charged for every ice tea you get....who ever heard of a restaraunt that didn't have free refills on tea and soda!! Save your money people and definitely don't go if you have high blood pressure!! Oh, and we wanted to try Lamb and had to ask three wait staff and probably 20 minutes before we got any. And thanks a lot for the big fat NOTHING for a birthday celebration.....way too many nice places around our area to waste your money here. First time here on Thursday 8/20. They only offer all you can eat food and it's not self serve, which is okay. However, when they bring the meats to the table they only give you one small slice at a time. You have already finished eating the one slice by the time they've have already headed back to the cooking area. They tell you you can choose anything on the menu, however they bring out random meat items on the menu for you to eat. So, if you just want to do steak that's not really an option. Just makes for an awkward dining experience -more so from the server that was serving the meat portions - one little tiny slice at a time. We really only wanted steak, but other stuff was being pushed at us. It was expensive and not worth what I paid for the amount of food that was received overall. We did get dessert to go and there was huge ice chunks in the ice cream that came with the Rabanada. We will not be returning here in the future to eat. read more

I'm giving this location 2 stars because of the service of the waitress. The food was not as good as fogo however it wasn't horrible. We arrived at the restaurant and was was immediately, however once we were sat we had to wait for a while for somEone to greet us. When greeted it was by someone of which I thought was thE chef or someone whom worked in the kitchen. Well what I learned is he was the GM of the restaurant. I was so amazed that he saw that we had been waiting and came over. His name is Tim. The assistant manager Patricia Was also great. I expressed my concerns and she apologized, from thaT point forward she made it her personal business to ensure that our experience would be great. Janae whom was our server still never recovered which was very disappointing. I didn't understand how she let out drinks get empty and dirtY plates were never cleared off. It took management to ensure that these things were done. I do feel that they should update their menu. I was looking for some mash potatoes and was informed that's only at dinner. They didn't have any soups available during brunch either. I think they should update so customer's will not expect to see these things. I don't know if we will revisit, however I do want to say that the management at this establishment are very professional and amazing! I hope that this rubs off in their wait staff. read more

Stopped by for birthday brunch on Friday, the 27th at noon. We were the first to arrive but the place quickly filled. There was a large salad bar and a small selection of hot sides. The staff was pleasant and anxious to please but it took awhile to get our drinks and the meat selection started but I don't know how many people were working in the kitchen. Having been to the location in Henderson, Nevada, the meat portions seemed small cuts although I'm sure you could ask for more. In Nevada, I remember I would still be eating one portion when another gaucho would pass by with a new skewer. On Friday, there were no pork selections except sausage a ham. I remember from my previous experience, delicious little spareribs. Of course, the pineapple was everyone's favorite . As we were leaving, our server offered me my birthday flan to take home and since there was a wait, she slipped a second one in the bag. All in all a pleasant, leisurely experience read more

I will never return to Rodizio Grill for 2 main reasons. #1 - I had to wait 1/2 hour for any drink (including water) to be offered. #2 - The glassware, silverware, and plates were not properly sanitized / cleaned. On Saturday February 29, 2020 around 8:30pm, my mother and I attended dinner at Rodizio Grill. Not only did we have to wait 35+ minutes to gain the attention of a waiter or receive water, but we noted how dirty the glassware appeared. My glassware still had lip prints on it. Both she and I sent back several pieces of silverware and glassware because the items did not look properly sanitized / cleaned. After finally receiving some new somewhat up-to-par glassware (another 20 minutes later) and some water, we tried to enjoy our dinner. But towards the end of the night, we both realized something wasn't right. That night both my mother and I had chills, night sweats, coughs, and runny noses. I woke up on Sunday March 1st, 2020 with a 103 degree fever and she had difficulty breathing. Thinking it was just a cold or some small virus we had picked up on our travels, we tried Tylenol, Zicam, Mucinex, Alkaseltzer Cold Plus, etc... you name it, we tried it. But nothing worked. By the afternoon of Monday, March 2nd, 2020 things had gotten worse for the both of us. We ended up going to an urgent care. My mother contracted an upper respiratory infection and I became the lucky winner of the FLU (Influenza Type A). Prior to going out to eat anywhere else... Pappas restaurant on Ritchie Highway (went there Thursday night 2/27/2020) Friday's near Arundel Mills (went there Friday 2/28/2020), Sbarro In Arundel Mills (went there Saturday afternoon 2/29/2020 around 4pm)... we did not experience ANY ISSUES WITH ILLNESS!!! I know my bout with the Flu came from Rodizio Grill. They don't have to ban me for life... I am banning myself & my family. Please be aware and always double check your glassware. And if feel like still not clean "enough" to your standards and intuition tells you not to eat / drink...follow it. Don't second guess yourself, cause the repercussions could be detrimental.
