I can't understand how they don't have a higher star rating to be honest. From start to finish the whole experience was incredible, especially compared to other dealerships. I had been shopping around for months, my credit score fair range, but everywhere I went I felt like I was getting the runaround. Jordan Rodman and his sales team are the absolute friendliest nicest people in car sales. They showed me a car I wasn't a fan of and right away they put me in something better than what I came in for and it was less expensive! They were extremely helpful, there was zero pressure and I really felt like I got the best deal in the place. Which by the way is such a cool dealership, with a basketball court and stuffed animals everywhere, plus it's huge! Went to test drive a car here, but the sales rep was being extremely critical of my driving and it was difficult to actually test out the car (which had a racing clutch installed and was not easy to drive to begin with). I found a listing for a used vehicle online that happened to be at Rodman in Foxboro. I emailed them and they were able to set me up to see the vehicle after work that day, they even had the truck outside waiting for me. I got there late at night, just before their closing time, but I was not rushed. I was able to test drive the vehicle and negotiate at my own pace. Jim was the first person I spoke with at the dealership and he was great. As it was late, we weren't able to complete the transaction that evening, but Jim, Jordan (the General Sales Manager), and a few others stayed past closing time to work with me. I was able to walk out the door with a handshake agreement. The next morning, I received a call from Jordan asking me if my wife and I were still interested in making the purchase at the agreed upon conditions (I will say they worked with me on my trade, ending up giving me substantially more than their original offer). I informed Jordan that my wife and I had discussed it and we were good to go forward. I then set out to the dealership to complete the sale. I arrived there and was greeted by Wayne (Jim was off that day), he helped me through the purchase. Wayne, like Jim, has been with Rodman for many years, both of them are experienced, not pushy, and are willing to listen to their customers. Wayne informed me that he had taken the liberty of prepping the vehicle for me, so if I wanted, I could drive off with it that day. I was not expecting that, but it was appreciated. I then met with Andrew in finance, I had been approved at a good rate (given rates these days), but he was able to better it. Went back over to Wayne who completed the purchase process and was greeted by Jordan who came by to thank me for doing business with them. Wayne brought me out to the vehicle, took his time to walk me through the electronics and any other questions I had. Before I was on my way he mentioned that Rodman is a family business, that their customers mean a lot to them, and if I should have any questions to please reach out to them. I have purchased several vehicles over the years, and I will say confidently, this was the best experience I have had. I don't believe I will need a new vehicle in the next few years, but when I do, I will be going back to Rodman. At the end of the day car dealerships need to make money selling vehicles and customers want to pay the least possible for them, that is just how it is. At Rodman I wasn't pressured into anything. I told them what I wanted, what I was willing to do, and they helped to make it work. In my opinion it doesn't get better than that. read more

Just had the most unethical experience I've ever had buying a car. Went in Wednesday and pick a truck I liked. The salesperson was off Thursday so I called and they told me they will put the truck away and scheduled an appointment for me on Friday. I went in as scheduled and guess what....... The truck was sold the day before. I knew something was up when the salesman started asking a bunch of questions about not financing with them and when he walked away, I knew there would be a problem. I don't usually write a review from a businesses actual location but I felt compelled as I sit here waiting for the last step of my auto purchase, the complimentary inspection from Rodman. From the extremely friendly woman at the front desk who has assisted me with a smile each time I have asked her a question to the Finance Manager, I couldn't be happier with everyone that I have dealt with here. It started when I spotted a used vehicle on Autotrader after searching for over a month and I was impressed by the starting price that was quoted which got me in the door. My salesman was Mark P. and he was also easy to deal with from beginning to end. I was able to both purchase the vehicle at the price I wanted and able to negotiate for my trade-in at a fair level without feeling like I was getting hosed. I grew up around car dealerships and this one easily enters the top 10% in terms of customer service. Even the lobby itself is fairly beautiful, the building has a nice layout and I found getting around was a breeze. My only complaint? I came to meet with finance on a Sat morning at 9:00 and they had no coffee for customers, just hotdogs and diet coke, ick. read more

The short answer, avoid this place. This review is long overdue. About a month ago I went here with my brother who was planning on buying a pickup truck. Anyway, the salesman (i forget his name, older guy) seemed nice enough to work with him. I was just there because my brother had asked me to go, I was not buying anything. The next day, the down payment check was dropped off and pickup was the following monday since the weekend was upon us. Monday I had to bring my brother back in to pickup the truck. Here is where things took a sneaky, unethical, and quite frankly illegal turn. My brother began attempting to call USAA (insurance provider) to have the truck added to his policy so that it could be properly registered and to his surprise, USAA had locked his account. Being in a career of law enforcement, here is where I started asking questions of the salseman. He begins telling us that HE attempted to call USAA twice to open a policy. I continued questioning, along the lines of why anyone would try to open an insurance policy under anyone elses name and suggested to him that this seemed like a tactic that, if successful, would lock him into the truck even if he arrived on Monday and changed his mind on the purchase. Anyway, the salseman stormed off with all the paperwork straight to the manager. It keeps getting better, now the manager and some other employee are at the desk trying to explain registration documents to me. As I said, in law enforcement myself, I politely advised them that I understand them fine and don't need any further explanation. I explain to the owner that I have never ever had a dealership contact my insurance company to open a policy and that this action taken by them seemed extremely unethical. The owner continues telling me they have been doing this for years, completely ignorant to my advice that opening insurance on someone elses policy without their legal say so was an identity issue and certainly criminal. Now, the owner, who is standing over me in a chair asks "are you buying this vehicle" (my brother is still on hold with USAA) and asked the question over and over me as I responded. Anyway, I said no and his response was "well, then I dont want to talk to you". My response was not polite and I was asked to leave the dealership, which I did. Now, my brother there with no ride home should he back out on the deal finally gets through to the agent at USAA who informs him that the salesman indeed used MY information (i have purchased from there in the past) to attempt to open an insurance policy for my brother and they locked the account out of safety against fraud. Once the manager learned of this, that a deal wasn't yet finalized, he kicks his own salesman out of the building. Then apologizes to my brother and acknowledges that what was done was illegal and that kicking me out for being right was also extremely unprofessional. I told my brother to give him my number. As of today, I am still waiting for my apology. If you made it this far, I hope I just saved you from this place. It appears they try to lock people into cars before anything is finalized. Imagine showing up the next day having second thoughts planning to back on a deal, only to see your vehicle woth registration plates on it and a policy of insurance that you did not initiate. Stuck in a financial trap. Im sure I missed things here and there but you get the point: Literally, go anywhere else. read more

If you want your car fixed or the oil changed they can handle that. BUT. If you need any type of body work done, avoid this place like the plague. My car got in an accident and I had the work done here. The door was not aligned properly afterwards and there is a whistIe when driving with the window fully closed. The paint job they did didn't last 1 month before cracks appeared over the bondo and started to peel. I had them fix the paint job but it just start peeling again. read more

I don't usually write a review but after visiting Rodman in Foxborough, I definitely think a review as a Heads up for anyone looking to have your car appraised. I was hooked into a deal that absolutely was too good to be true. I even clarified the offer out loud to them and they said yes. I still haven't even gotten a check for it at all because they sent it to the wrong address. Had they just asked my my address I would have given it to them. This deal was so good that I just left my car with everything in it for them to do what they will with it. I am now with out a vehicle. The check that I still have not received is missing a "0". When I called and emailed, they told me I was lying and that the car was already in auction and sold so I have to pay the $500 to cancel the sale in order to get my car back. They are certainly not for the customer. read more

An actual, honest, thorough review of Rodman Ford from a first time car buyer: I've been saving for a truck for awhile now. In the meantime, I've shared a car with my parents since I first had my license. Needless to say, I was long overdue for a vehicle of my own. I'll briefly detail my experience, who I worked with, and what I took away that I feel will be helpful to share with others who consider purchasing from Rodman Ford. Rodman came recommended to us by a relative of ours (their business is based on referral and their sales staff is non-commissioned). I felt compelled to seek a deal with them because my father purchased a used 2012 Ford Edge Limited from them in October '18, and they treated him with care and respect (which I appreciate deeply given his advanced age). I was referred to Craig Rodman, one of the Dealership President's sons. Unfortunately, he had personal matters to attend to (which I don't fault him for obviously), so he had Matt Deleo assist me in his absence after our initial contact. As previously mentioned, this was my first auto buying experience. I'd researched for months on what to say, what to ask, how to handle sales tactics etc. I went in alone for my first meeting with Matt on Monday (7/8), admittedly unnerved by the prospect of a stereotypical car buying experience. In short, Matt's a great dude. At points I was aware I was being sold to, but it wasn't the tacky, overenthusiastic BS that a bad used car salesman feeds customers. Matt took his time with me. I'll admit I'm a gigantic stickler for details, and once I know what I want, it's all but set in stone. After I beat him over the head with what I wanted in a truck, I felt like he really took the time to tailor the sale to my best possible satisfaction. He's a great communicator, reachable and responsive, and will find you an answer if you ask him something he doesn't know; a genuine dude you'd wanna have a beer with after signing the dotted line. I initially wanted to purchase new, but those hopes were dashed once we ran the numbers. Matt had my taste in trucks nailed down within minutes. He brought around a used 2017 F-150 STX 5.0 that they had purchased 5 days prior from a private owner. It had mostly every feature I had hoped for, while leaving me enough room to make it my own with aftermarket additions. As soon as I gave it a proverbial kicking of the tires, I knew it was mine. Here's the rub: they charge you $880 if you don't finance through one of their finance managers. You don't necessarily have to use Ford Credit (it stinks), but it is what it is. They're running a business, and I get it. Their explanation was to the effect of "it enables us to list our prices aggressively compared to other dealers" (paraphrasing). I'm aware it's meant to compel you to use their finance guy, it's a tactic like anything else and I at least commend them on being transparent about it. The fee ended up being a moot point for me since I ended up financing through them anyway. If you do end up having to pay the $880, maybe ask for a sun shade or some floor mats as a consolation. They're reasonable and they'll work with you, I promise. I originally had secured financing through my credit union at their lowest rate, but their finance manager I worked with, Scott Ames, implored me to let him run the numbers because he knew he could beat it. He did, by 1.29%. Lesson learned: evaluate all your options, be adaptable. Scott's a retired Marine and it shows. He's gruff by nature, but a good man and a fantastic resource. He'll tell you what you need to hear straight up. No hook, no spin, no fuss. I prefer a straight shooter, and Scott embodies that principle. I was honestly floored by how adaptable the staff was. They'll bend for you. I mean, they should anyway since you're forking over tens of thousands of dollars. But they really will make concessions and reasonable accommodations for you, all you have to do is ask. To summarize, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of my transaction from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with from the receptionist, to sales, to finance was friendly, accommodating, and personable. I went into this expecting the worst. I even printed out the Wikipedia entry on "bait-and-switch" and brought it with me tucked into my portfolio in case any funny business arose (sorry guys). Thankfully, it didn't even cross my mind during the sale. Seriously - don't put a ton of stock in the one-star grievances on here. People get pissed when they spend $30,000+ (or plan to) and things don't go exactly their way. I'm not saying lay down and let a dealership trample you, but it's important to remember that they're humans like you and I, and sometimes sh*t happens. People will sometimes use this as an outlet for those frustrations and write things in anger. Fortunately, I'm not one of those people, and Rodman earned every word of my praise. I'll hopefully be dealing with them for a long, long time. read more

I drove all the way here from Tewksbury because I have heard nothing but good things from this dealership. The brand new 2008 Ford Focus that I owned was a great car. When it came time to buy a new car in 2014, I went straight for a 2014 Ford Focus. However, I quickly encountered issues with my vehicle. In late August 2017, I dropped off my 2014 Ford Focus because the transmission was shuddering. They replaced the clutch and the issue was resolved, but I had a lot of questions at the time. Why was I even worrying about the clutch in an automatic car, would this issue resurface? The service rep said unfortunately, I would, but not to worry because the warranty was extended out. At that time, I should have asked for the warranty in hand, but I did not. Not even a year later, my clutch needs to be replaced again and Ford has only agreed to cover part of the expense, for an issue that will quickly resurface once again. Every step of the way, I've encountered nothing but dishonesty and delay and absolutely no accountability. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Ford. I've spoken to representative after representative with absolutely no ability to offer valuable assistance, but who is simply in place to deflect and delay a proper resolution to this issue. My husband and I have a toddler at home and a new baby on the way and are looking forward to purchasing a larger vehicle. Ford is now completely off the table for us. Myself, my husband, my parents, and two sisters were all proud Ford owners. Both of my sisters have recently purchased Honda's. Everyone we know is going to hear about our horrible experience. read more

Do not shop here or take your car here for service! I bought a 2015 Ford Fusion in 2018 that I had previously leased from them and love the car. Every time I took my car in for an oil change these guys would always do something careless that required me to drive back there from Fall River to correct. One time they got oil all over my engine had to go back so they could clean it. Another time, they got grease on my light colored interior, had them clean it on the spot before I left. Another time it was to fix a recall on my car and in the process put the cover back on the center of the steering wheel wrong causing me to have no horn. Because of all these screw ups from incompetent workers it prompted me to always be on the defense when ever I called. Well one day I wanted to bring the car in for an oil change and I called John Hayes. I explained to him I wanted to schedule the oil change with one mechanic in particular because he appeared to do a good job the last time I was there which was refreshing for a change. Now John Hayes tells me that mechanic wouldn't be in until a few weeks from when I was originally looking to bring in the car. I said oh ok not a problem but since I have to get my oil change every 5,000 miles with Rodman Ford my concern is I'd be over the mark and possibly void my warranty. So I asked him do you know if I'm allowed to go over slightly on the mileage so as not to void my warranty? He did not know, mind you this old man has been working for the company for a while yet he didn't know. So he said he would transfer me to Tiffany, she's this overweight I think a chick that works in service. I clearly asked John will you tell her why I'm calling so I don't have to ask all over again explaining my story? He replied yes and transferred the call. Tiffany picks up the phone and clearly has no clue why I originally called and when I asked her if John had explained to her why I was calling she replied no he didn't tell me. At this point I explained myself again and in closing explained to her that they needed to have better communication and we hung up as our call had finished. Five seconds later John Hayes calls me to harass me asking what my problem was and swearing at me. I hung up on him but not before I told him he was in the wrong as I was a customer and he should kiss my ass for the fact I bought a vehicle from Rodman. I told him he was being very unprofessional and I hung up. A short time afterwards he called me back leaving me a voicemail stating they no longer wanted to service my vehicle ever again and that I was not allowed on the property. Now mind you they have a lifetime warranty on the engine & power train as long as you get your oil change there ever 5,000 miles. Sooo, they are basically telling me that they will not honor the contract agreement we both signed into when I purchased the vehicle! So I decided to call the owners to find out what do I do now for oil changes since I can't go there as I don't want to lose my warranty. I spoke with Curt Rodman who said to me that he would make an exception and allow me to go elsewhere for my oil changes and yet still honor my warranty should anything happen to the engine or power train. I then asked him if I could have that in writing and he flat out refused to do so. Needless to say these guys are scumbags and have forced me to go elsewhere for an oil change which automatically I voided my warranty and I have nothing in writing. However what they fail to realize is I have the voice mail John Hayes left on my cellphone as well as the recorded conversation I had with Curt Rodman. So when the time comes I will have the upper hand in court as that's what this will come down to. But stay clear away from this place, bad business that will shut you out if you have words with any of their staff and will not honor their warranty! read more

Rodman marks prices absurdly high so make sure you know a thing or two about cars so they don't rip you off. I went to Rodman since I noticed a problem with my engine sparks. They said I would need all coils and spark plugs replaced for 1200. I did a little research and found out that I could buy coils and spark plugs online for less that 300 total. I called back to tell him that I would prefer to take my car somewhere else and he immediately hung up on me. He then called back an hour later saying that I would actually only need one coils and spark plug replaced and he could do it for 300. After I declined he offered to do it for 150 so I decided to allow him to fix one in worries that he may damage my car for not doing business. Very sketch experience and I will never go there again. I went there to see a car they had on their website. I was pre-approved, but after seeing the car, and leaving a deposit, as usual, the pre-approval numbers I had couldn't be met. I would have to pay about $60 more a month. After a couple more conversations, I texted the salesman to ask him to refund my deposit. He texted back that he would. The next morning, he called me to say they wanted to make the deal, but they weren't going to reduce the price. I already told them it was too much, but they were still trying to sell it to me for the same price. I texted him 2 more times about my deposit, but he wouldn't even answer me. I called the general manager, and explained it to him. About 10 minutes later, they called me back to say they were processing the refund. It still took a couple more days, but at least they did it. This place has a good rating on the BBB website, but not rated very well by customers. So, not only did they lose this sale, but I hope to be buying another car very soon. I won't even bother to look at their site anymore after that. I don't know what it takes to find an honest car dealer. read more

My last 4 cars have been fords and in late 2015 I purchased a brand new (7miles) 2016 explorer from Rodman Ford in foxboro MA. Have a little over 100,000 miles and the car needs a new transmission. The service Center rep said they had seen issues like this (the fluid leaks and breaks the casing and damages the transmission). $6600.00 to fix. And not In warranty - even though I purchased an extended warranty at the time Ford's manufacturing and service levels aren't what they use to be. Very disappointed, I purchased the car at the Rodman ford in foxboro and I would Never, again recommend a ford car. Stay away from this dealership - take a trip down automile and buy from a reputable dealer and car brand. read more

So I love my daughter. Four yrs ago we went in to reputable(?)or so I thought dealership at Rodman Ford buying her a brand-new, zero miles Ford Explorer Sport SUV setting me back about $55K including top of the line 100K extended warranty zero deductible, necessary part of investment. Here the keys sweetie, please drive safely and most of all don't kill anybody, ok. Crazy, you say oh, I agree but will touch on that some other time, he-he. Everything pretty smooth for awhile as expected, then in 2016 shifter lever on console developed a mechanical glitch not engaging gears unless you went back & forth couple of times. OK we're golden with the extd warr I'm thinking and not sure if I'm the only one who hates it when term ends unused, but awfully glad it's there if something major goes wrong.. Sorry, this isn't covered under your warranty, service rep goes. You've got to be kidding, 2 yr old car's just got over 40K this shouldn't be happening I'm protesting, upon deaf ears, however. While not the kiss of death, I felt let down by both Ford and Rodman for not standing up and so we left. Couple more yrs went by and about a mo ago daughter, who's the only driver starts hearing some grinding noise coming from underside front. So, we take the car to our local shop as we always do for oil changes & tire rotates and the tech there goes gee, guys you gotta problem with rack & pinion gear, I'd strongly advise you to bring it to dealer as this is pretty unusual at only 67K and might be covered, it's also big bucks, he warned. Monday April 23 after having said our prayers, we head out for Foxboro and after talking to Dylan at service desk explaining what local tech said about abnormal malfunction of both rack & pinion and also shifter, SUV is surrendered to their hands. Will call you tomorrow guys, Dylan goes. Tomorrow comes and true nuff Dylan calls, OK, rack & pinion is covered not the shifter however, additionally, you need front & rear rotors & pads plus tires all around and all that comes to $2375 incl the shifter. Something's not right here, Ford outfitting this vehicle w/sub-standard components and how do I know that wasn't the same case w/shifter, my response. Dylan standing his ground but seeing I also was adamant takes off for couple mins to "consult" and comes back saying "I was able to bring it down to $2175" Hey pal, I can goto Costco & get top of the line Michelin LTXs for $800 not the inferior Hankook rubber trash and not sure if you guys heard of Auto Zone get complete set of rotors & pads including the shifter, dealer item, all for $1500 or less, how about $2000 even, I backed down so daughter could have her kids shuttle back. Sorry, no can do, he goes. W/faint bitter aftertaste same as in 2016 hey, that's just in as many trips made to Rodman service, try to convince myself I'm just terrible to deal with I tell the kid go ahead, just take care of rack & pinion & let me know when ready, piling kids & Bailey the boxer in my old faithful Chevy Astro. Got the green light Saturday and while on the way down I had a one-sided mental conversation with the almighty on how I was let down twice at the hands of RF and also trying to convince him/her that to err is only human right, despite experience suffered those people still believe in you oh dear God and love you, just sometimes with all due respect we all screw up but please, see to it there's an amicable end to this saga. Arrival was after 3pm and Dylan gone we ask the young lady there for car's keys as we're running late; Oh, there's a final bill for diagnostics she goes, bringing a bill for $275. WHAT??? exasperated I exclaimed, I explained to Dylan exactly the reason vehicle was brought here to begin with, also mentioning defective shifter documented in 2016, so there should be NO diagnosis done, period. seeing I was breathing fire at that point the poor young lady leaves to "consult" returning with an executioner, or so it seemed. Look he goes, we're able to cut that to $129.51 and that's the best we can possibly do w/such attitude as if he's trying to fling a bug off his shoulder. As daughter knows #1 it's the principal of the matter and #2 been on this planet for some time now and have dealt w/more car dealers than I can remember knowing all their techniques, looks at me saying not worth it dad c'mon let's go. Although am not quite done with Ford, they've built some great cars that I've had the pleasure of driving & owing in the past, I am completely & totally done with Rodman Ford. read more

All the stereotypical car salesman and experience all at one place. Came in to buy a new car that was the advertised special on their website. They wouldnt even show it me. They showed me a different one that was "just like it". When we go to negotiate price, they wouldn't even get to within 3k of the advertised price (for the car I never even got to see). They just said all the fine print is on their website and its common knowledge that you can't buy a car for the advertised price. Then, on to my trade in, they were 10% lower than the KBB average trade in price. They refused to get anywhere close to what it was worth, saying that KBB values and NADA guides are not actual offers to buy cars (no sh*t dummy). Lastly, on the car, they wouldnt provide a Ford warranty on it, only a "rodman" warranty. We also know how well that would work out. Finally I drove up the street to Jack Madden and came out with a car that day. I could not imagine a more pleasant experience buying a used car here at Rodman Ford. My 2007 Mazdaspeed3 was recently totaled while parked on the street and I happened to see online the same car at Rodman Ford. I was more than familiar with the car. I worked with Demitri Dababna who was super laid back, nice, and very helpful. He understood that I knew the car and didn't try to oversell the car to me. Furthermore, the day I worked with Demitri, it was his first day back on the job after going through ACL (knee) surgery. He was in noticeable discomfort walking around but never made it an issue. I felt kinda bad as he walked back and forth multiple times from his desk to the back offices to gather information for me. I purchased the car that evening and picked it up a few days later. Demetri was always accessible giving me updates and follow ups after the sale. The car was in great shape, detailed when i picked up the car. One minor issue was that it had wheel locks but they did not have a key. It was quickly resolved when they stated that they would replace the wheel locks for me on problems. All in all, this was an unexpected great experience. I got the car that I wanted with low stress and very helpful staff. This review is specific to Demitri but if other sales reps are like him, I'd definitely recommend going here to purchase a car. read more

I FEEL LIKE SUCH A FOOL! I wish I had never sent my car in for a recall for the airbag. My car was running well, no issues, no problems. I was trying to be a good owner and get the recall taken care of. I have been a customer for years...I TRUSTED Rodman Ford! After I dropped off the car, they called me at work and informed me that I should do a basic maintenance on the car. Taking their word, I said, "Ok." I never expected to pay $1239.95 for basic maintenance and have the car die on the way home because FAULTY PARTS were put into the car and I was blamed, "You must have done something to the car." Ever since I got the car back I have been having issues. I emailed service and like other reviews I have read here, THEY WILL NO LONGER SERVICE my car because I pushed back on the lack of customer service and pricing of repairs NOT my fault! Now, I am still trying to get the car repaired, it's been a nightmare of a month. When I explained I was not happy with the service, they won't help me and when I said I would take it to the Dealer owner; which I did. I got no response. I was asking to be reimbursed for gas in a rental car and time taken off from work to take care of their mistakes. They flatly refused. I can only conclude that they don't want everyday working people to come to their service shop. That they only want "high end Gillette Stadium types" to service. I feel taken, stupid and have lost all faith in a company that I had faithfully trusted for many years. I tell everyone and anyone what they did to me. So, to all of you who read this, do yourself a favor, DO NOT GO HERE! Unless, you want to open up your wallet and be treated poorly. read more

have made 3 attempts to give this feedback and have heard nothing. I brought my car in last month for an issue I'm having with overheating. I paid $125 for the diagnostic test and was told there is nothing wrong with my car. I was also told I needed front breaks and some other things. I left the dealership with nothing else wrong with my car supposedly. That following week I had to fill my break fluid 4 times! How did i leave the dealership with a leaking breakline without anyone noticing? I called the dealership and was told I need to pay again to have my car looked at. I brought my car elsewhere and found out my front and back breaks were completely fine but that I had a bad caliper in the back. On top of this I still have an issue with overheating. I attempted to reach out by the online system after this and never got any response except a sales representative calling me to try and get me in a new car! Why would I get a call like that when I was trying to give negative feedback? The woman was pretty rude when I told her I was not ready to trade in. I then reached our this week through Facebook and was told I would hear from someone "shortly". I still have not heard back. This is some really poor customer service and I do not trust your mechanics any longer. I am still puzzled how I left the dealership with nothing more than front breaks being due but then all of a sudden have break fluid pouring out of my back wheel. At this point I am sick of chasing people around to complain. I will be looking elsewhere for my next car. read more

Called Tasca Ford and they ordered the replacement part and booked my appointment immediately and without question. Rodman, stand by the products you sell and honor your recall repair obligations...and consider some Customer Service training for your unapologetically rude Service Manager. read more

My experience at Rodman was hot and cold. I leased a truck for 2 years and my experience was 5 stars. This all changed when my lease was up. I decided I didn't not want to lease another truck but instead buy a used one, because I didn't want to destroy a brand new truck using it for work. Jim Lafeierre, my salesman and Sheryl Wagner, the finance manager worked very hard to find me a truck in my price range, and a bank with a good interest rate. This is where things went down hill. I took the truck home on a Wednesday, noticed the power steering needed to be replaced, leaking battery, chipped windsheild, bald tires, and contacted Jim. He told me to schedule an appointment with service, so I did for friday. Between those 2 days, the truck broke down. TWICE. And not due to the battery. The transmission could not tell the truck was in park and therefore would not turn on. On Friday, I went to the service department at Rodman and they fixed the transmission. Something was out of adjustment. But they refused to admit that the power steering was in need of replacement. I have never had a car yell at me unless it was for me to put my seat belt on and when I turned the wheel, it screamed at me. On top of that, the windshield was chipped bald tires, and battery leaking as well, all of which they didn't acknowlege. After my rejection from the service department, I walked upstairs to tell Jim that I would like to return the truck because the service department would not fix it. This is when they sent the manager over to tell me that they had already put 2000 dollars into the truck before they put it on the lot to be sold so they didn't want to put more money into fixing it. I told them that it should be common practice to send cars off the lot with basic things like a sealed battery and good tires, not a new pad for the brake pedal. Another manager approached me and asked me if they fixed the problems, would I keep the truck, and I said yes. This is when a third manager approached me not even 5 minutes later and just flat out offered my my money back. Let me tell you, Rodman is not nice to you when you return a car, even if it's a lemon. The sales manager snickered as he told me I would have to wait 12 weeks for a full refund. AND I'M STILL WAITING. All in all, 2.5 stars, 5 for the first experience, 0 for the second. Called on a Friday to inquire about a used car on their lot. They confirmed it was available and set up an appointment at 9am on Saturday to see the car. Walked in a few minutes past 9:00 and there was no one around except one other customer. Around 9:10 someone finally came in and said "just give us a few minutes guys, we just opened". Ummm, if you open at 9 and set up appointments for 9, you should be ready to go at 9. When they finally tried to help us, it took them 20+ minutes to find the car - the one that I had called about and set up the appointment for. Finally, at 9:35 we saw the inside of the car (no pictures were posted online) and realized it wasn't what we wanted. (I guess this part was on me, should have confirmed in advance.) Anyway. we should have been out of there in 5 minutes, but spent almost 40 minutes waiting around, even with the appointment. Definitely will not be back. Edit: About 10 minutes after we left I received a phone call from them asking if we were still planning to show up for our 9am appointment!! Are you kidding me?!? read more

Rodman is a unique dealership...my family has been doing business with all three generations of the Rodman family (Since they were in downtown Foxboro). As you know you have many choices when it comes to buying your new car or truck...it's the biggest purchase or payment you'll take on besides your home...so you want to make sure your getting into a solid long term relationship after the sale. First let me start off with Pat Ford, Pat specializes in commercial truck sales but always catered to my family and referrals looking to non-commercial vehicles. Not only is Pat genuine, honest, but holds his word. Pat always goes above and beyond for myself and his other clients (I always hear about the trips and deliveries and how he doesn't mind)... Jordan Rodman in finance was straight forward and gave me all the information needed to buy a Ford brand factory warranty. Rodman once again went out of their way in working with my credit union which wasn't in their wheel house. They dealt with the paperwork and logistics while not pushing me to use one of their lenders at a lower rate. Jordan always says hi to me when I come in for service, visit or to look at new vehicles. I always tell him, I love small town, small feeling, small business...Not a big chain where your sucked into a pool and forgotten when you leave. Thanks Jordan. When most people buy their new truck, they want to personalize it. Like buying a car, the internet has made it real consumer friendly...Rodman has a satellite accessory store in the showroom...carrying everything from weather tech floor mats to lift kits. All though I bought a GMC Canyon (Need a small trucks to get into the city garages) Matt Gilmore stepped up once again. Like I said, I have an off brand but whatever I needed he not only came through but went above and beyond in texting me with prices, status, and keep me updated through the whole process...even offered to wash it. We're they the cheapest? Pretty close if not spot on to the online stores...but the service is worth every penny. It's nice to have one more relationship in house. Matt takes is position very seriously and is up to date with all the changes. Lastly, he even went to pick up floor mats for the Fusion and Rachael's car, with his own car to the distribution center...all that for $120.00 mats...probably spent more in fuel than their profit. Last person who I want to give my thanks to is Dan in the auto body shop. Hopefully you never have to see, talk or use him...but if you do, you'll realize why they have an award winning body shop. I figured I would give this place another try because it's so close to my business. I went in to Rodman today with a fully loaded super cab f150 in brand new condition. I told them I want to move up to a crew cab. I told them where my payments needed to be and the guys comes back with double the number we discussed. Thank god for Franklin Ford. Once again they have won my business. I feel bad for the sales guys at Rodman because there managers give them no chance. read more

if I could give no star, I would! We had the worst car shopping experience at Rodman this month! And here is our story: We purchased a fairly new used car from Rodman Ford on early May. First no one never communicated with us as when the car would be ready to be picked up. I had to keep calling and finally expressed my frustration to a sales manager on duty before I got a confirmation. When we showed up for pickup, we paid to have burn holes repaired on one of the seats, the holes were not fixed when we picked up the car and it was never communicated to us. Their excuse was the person who does the work left the shop. They did not mention it until my husband noticed the holes were not fixed. The sales manager on duty said he will locate someone locally to where we live and help us repairing it. They never called/followed up with us and I kept calling and e-mailing but all I got was the sales manager was out or extremely busy. At the same time, he offered to fill up our gas tank as a token of apology and of course after 10min of waiting, the sales came back and informed us that the gas pump was broken. And after back and forth email with the sales about our frustration, he came back and said the sales manager said they can't locate anyone to repair this and they will refund us the money?! This dealership is not trustworthy!!! Even though this is a small cosmetic issue but who knows whether they will warrant their warranty since they can't even fix such a small issue that I have paid for it! read more
