The food is AMAZING! I come here often and everything is great. There is nothing on their menu that I do not enjoy. My daughter had the kids cheese pizza and she loved it. I snuck a bite and I can definitely confirm that it was delicious. I ordered the pesto pasta and it was one of the best I've had. My wife had the salmon salad and she really enjoyed. The price isn't the problem, I am willing to pay but when you also have horrible customer service, that's where I draw the line. Every time I go there I leave with a sour taste in my mouth, his wife has no customer service skills and should not be at the register. I had a wonderful and friendly waitress named Linoi , she helped me choose the best fitted meal and gave great recommendations. I just stopped by after going to CVS. I'd seen the sign from the street for awhile. I believe the lady said they've been open for about 3 months. The lady said they are open til midnight every night. Sometimes even later on Fridays and Saturdays.. maybe 1 or 2 am. She said they stay til the last person leaves. They also have free internet but she said the access has been unstable lately. It's pretty cute inside. Simple black and white modern furniture. Minimal decor. I like it. It's a shame this isn't located on Ventura Blvd. somewhere I'm sure, I'm sure there'd be more people if it weren't on that little strip mall. There's a wide range of cookies, some cakes and pastries, and a good amount of desserts. They also serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu ranges from nutella french toast, to sandwiches, hummus, gnocchi.. and I can't remember the rest. Good variety. I just opted for some desserts to go. First, I like how there's a mini size for all the desserts. Great when you want to try more than 1.. AND the minis are only $1.95 each. I chose the fruit tart and cheese mouse type thing. Both are good. Fruit tart had good fruit, wasn't over or under ripe. But nothing spectacular. Although I'm a big fan of fruit tarts- I can't recall ever having one that's more than ordinary. All three people that I interacted with were really nice and friendly- willing to help and talk about the food/desserts. I must come back and have some real food... will definitely post an update then. Til then.. I like this place. I used to order delivery from here all the time & it always satisfied my craving. Today I finally got to dine in! They were opened on Christmas which made my at the time angry stomach very happy. I haven't had authentic Israeli food & although I'm usually Iffy on trying new foods, I'm so glad I did. Everything I had was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly tasty. I also loved how hands on the owner is with managing the restaurant & is constantly checking on guests. Btw the restaurant is decorated so elegantly! It has been a scorching hot week and today the weather has finally permitted, that I take my one month old child out to a local breakfast place. As I arrive super excited to give this place a try, I wasn't greeted by a host or anyone for that matter so we sat ourselves down. Considering this place is a bakery and cafe I wanted to try their bread basket. To my amaze it was just sesame seed bread. No variety, my jams, just plain boring bread. I think to myself "my experience with this place is going downhill." I order The Heins sandwich. Mozzarella, eggs, and more sesame bread. Haha. Go figure. My significant other orders the bacon less fretata which was okay. The menu itself is pretty funny. It has the picture of some woman eating food which, is an odd way of marketing a menu if you ask me. Could have made her hotter if you're gonna use that method. First off, there are wayy too many items and it would take a newbie forreever to choose something ! Second, on every single page of the menu there is a girl eating their food in a very "provocative" and "seductive" way... Literally! And boy do they have a lot of sweet stuff! You walk in and it's a whole beautiful cabinet full of their cakes, petit fours, and cookies. They have one of the best tiramisu's I've ever had. It's a perfect combination of sweet, salty, and moist. Don't even get me started on their cookies. My fiancé comes here when he's sick to pick up mint tea. It's so simple, yet so delicious smelling, and it makes him feel better. The service is impeccable. The wait staff is super friendly and can give you recommendations if you're feeling lost and confused amidst the scrumptious descriptions of all the food from their menu. Finally took up a recommendation and came to Roladin. I am a little upset with myself for waiting so long to add this little spot to my list of go-to lunch restaurants. There is a nice patio with a somewhat unique ambiance if you prefer to sit outside. Inside seating is spacious in a sense that you will not be subjected to listening about someone's love life problems while waiting for your appetizers or whatever. The food is fantastic. Starting with the delicious complimentary bread that comes with 4 sauce spreads for you to enjoy. Large breakfast menu, sandwiches, salads and pasta. All Israeli-style with a refined gourmet feel to it. I don't want to discuss any particular dishes because based on my impression they are all fantastic. Service was solid, my cup of water was never left empty for longer than a minute and I was genuinely thanked for coming. I wish other places would imitate the Roladin business model. This is what I ordered for delivery: Goat Cheese Cake Salad - 13.95 Goat cheese cakes slightly breaded and seasoned with paprika, garlic, salt and black pepper. Served over grilled tomatoes and spring mixed lettuce. I received a bag of boxed food on which liquid had leaked all over. When I took the salad out of the bag it was dripping everywhere and when I opened it, it was a pile of mush and a few lettuce leaves (refer to the picture). I called and asked to speak with a manager ("Sharon") and the girl I spoke to said she wasn't available and that it's not their fault, it's the delivery guy's fault. She also said that it's not the kind of salad that's meant to be delivered, it has to be eaten at the restaurant. I asked her to have Sharon call me. She didn't and no compensation was offered.
