Offering us water and an olive tapenade appetizer while we waited for the class to begin. They start out the class with some knife skills as we chopped the ingredients for the pizza sauce and pizza toppings. Great quick lesson on easy way to chop onions without crying among other things. We made the dough for the pizza and the pizza sauce from scratch! We each got to make our own individual pizza, and had the option to grill or bake the pizza. There was a variety of toppings which we had chopped up and delicious mozzarella cheese. The pizzas tasted delicious! They also made a nutella and strawberry dessert pizza for us to share at the end of the class. They e-mail you the recipes the next day so you can try cooking on your own. Don't know if I'll ever take the time to make this again by myself, but overall a great time with a friend and a great dinner!

What truly sets this class apart is the attention to detail. Every aspect of the experience was immaculate, from the clear directions to the venue (complete with a contact number), to the interior setup, comfortable room temperature, and beautifully presented stations. The kitchen tools were high quality, ingredients were neatly laid out with laminated table cards, and even the table settings were on point. Honestly, I can't think of a better event to bring a group together - it's such a unique and fun class. Yesterday was the perfect LA day, and all of the dining and most of the cooking is done outdoors. Her and her team adhered to all of the necessary COVID protocols, and my whole group felt incredibly safe being at her home. All of her staff is fully vaccinated, and there were masks worn and plenty of hand sanitizers. I know that I can always trust her to help me put on a great event. Ponti has kids birthday parties down to a science with different activities planned out that all the kids loved! Him and his team handled it all while we got to relax and chat with other parents. On top of that, we didn't have to worry about goodie bags because all the kids went home with a couple pieces of glow in the dark art that they made. I also loved the experience of watching Jesus the owner and his chefs making the 2 big paellas , as my paella pans are smaller and -in my experience-it is really tricky to make them so big. Jesus and his team are also extremely organized and efficient. Their process was well thought out, from how the team kept the paellas warm to how they packed the left overs. Viva Espana!!!! :-) I got to talk to Jesus a little bit and found him to be very pleasant.
