This isn't a very common fast food franchise and having this Roll Em Up Taquitos as a rest stop for our drive from NorCal to SoCal was a great idea to try a new place and get ready for the final leg of our journey. Right next to a Tesla charging station which is convenient if you unfortunately have one of these. There's a couple tables and seating there, as well as a fountain soda machine. There were 2 staff working when we were there and it was already a bit past the lunch rush. There were a couple customers and tables occupied. Didn't take too long for food to come out and although the tables weren't wiped down all the way, it wasn't too bad. Food came out in a reasonable time (boyfriend ordered, got something from the car, I used the restroom, and then our food came out). They brought our churro donut out after the hot foods and we had to remind them about our horchata. They gave us the slushie version instead of the regular drink version, but we were in a rush to get back to SoCal so we just stuck with it. For our stop, we got the: 1) Horchata: -We wanted to get an original one but this came out later after reminding staff and we had to go so we just took the slushie version that was handed to us. -Super sweet and dense. Not my cup of tea and I didn't finish this. 2) Corn in a Cup: -We got this full loaded with all of the fixings such as butter, cotija cheese, butter, and of course Hot Cheeto dust! -The absolute best. The toppings were interspersed throughout and made it easier to mix and get a bite of everything. Can never go wrong with a good cup of esquites. 3) 2 Pack Taquitos: -We got beef corn as the filling and with mixed cheese and with guac sauce, sour cream, and lit roll 'em up sauce. -Actually packs a spicy kick with the sauce. You can never go wrong with taquitos. Delicious meat filling, super seasoned and flavorful and the ocean of sauce and toppings just made it even more delectable. I just wished that the shell outside was a bit more crisp and not as dry. 4) Taco Burger: -This is a messy, but deliciously yummy burger with fry sauce, ground taco beef, lettuce and mixed cheese. -I've had a taco burger at Taco Tia before (check out this fast food franchise, there's not many left) and this one is definitely more deluxe in size and flavor profile. You can't go wrong with a good burger and just adding taco meat to it. I'd get this again. 5) Churro Donut: -Dusted with powdered sugar, cinnamon and a drizzle of caramel. -Disappointing, it was super dry on the inside. Nothing like what I expect churro filling to be like. It's a dry cake like donut with cinnamon on the outside. Hardly a churro aside from that and the caramel drizzle if I gotta say. Overall not bad! I think I would just stick to savory foods here, however.

Roll Em Up Taquitos has always been on my list but never had one near me and also there just hasn't been the right time to try it. I was going back to Southern California right before the Grapevine and took a pit stop out here so I wanted to try it. There was a firehouse subs before here which I loved. I usually stop here when traveling from up North and back to South. I ordered their 4 pack combo that came with taquitos, rice, beans and a drink. I got all of their flavors, potato, beef and chicken. All were really good, they were crisp to perfection and would come back for more in the future. My girlfriend got their bowl and it looked like soup from the beans and sauces and also was really salty. It was almost inedible when we tried it. We were wondering what in the bowl was that salty and strong and it was the rice. I tried the rice on my side and it was also insanely strong. I feel like this place was solid otherwise and I know a 2 star is a little steep and they probably made a mistake for the rice, but having the food almost inedible in my eyes is warranted. Wish we went back to exchange the food for something else but we left back on the highway.

    2 potato taquitos

Had 2 potato taquitos in flour tortillas and the middle was oily and soggy. I wouldn't even call the ends crispy. Based off of the fact that they didn't give us any plasticware I assume that these should be crunchy enough that I can pick them up. The moment I lifted the end it all just folded. It's not because of the salsa and toppings they just weren't cooked crispy, like if the oil wasn't hot enough. . I did go ask for plasticware and the knives were kind of dusty/dirty. The place seemed clean otherwise and the staff were friendly, informative and attentive. I wouldn't recommend the food here

This is a stop on highway 5 and it seems to be one of my new favs. The parking lot is spacious, the restrooms are clean. We needed a bathroom break and lunch. This place's name already got us hooked. They even have elotes. Which I am a huge fan of. It came in this large drink cup but seems genius for this type of street food. The taquitos were freshly deep fried. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will def add this stop to our drive when on 5.

In a sea of fast food options, Roll Em Up Taquitos offers up such unique fare. This was the best (by far) part of an 11 hour road trip from San Diego back home to the Bay Area. You can choose corn or flour tortillas and beef, chicken or potato as filling. I chose the three taquito combination which came with above average rice and very good beans ( kind of charred with a texture between whole and refried with good mouthful and well seasoned, but not too salty. I chose flour tortillas ( two beef, one chicken. The tortillas were fresh and filling ( especially the chicken) were great. I loved the guacamole salsa and the way they were topped with various sauces . This restaurant was spotless with a very clean bathroom. Service is fast, but the food makes this a perfect pit stop at the sane price as a fast food meal. This was an easy five stars, not just because we were starving, but relative to the horrible other options around.

Pretty good food and out-of-the-park customer service by Jay. Jay was very kind and attentive and took the time to make sure we were satisfied with our order. Specifically, he apologized and made things right when he realized that the corn was corn in a cup and not con on a stick. Very kind and professional service. As for the food, it was pretty good. We've stopped here a couple of times and every time I've gotten the potato taquitos, which only comes in flour tortillas, and also the chicken taquitos which comes in corn or flour tortillas. The churro donut was pretty good - freshly fried and a little flaky, but kind of to the point it was falling apart. The rice and beans can be a hit or miss. I'm not the biggest fan of the bean seasoning, which makes it taste a little more TexMex. Overall, the food and prices are pretty solid, and we appreciate and wanted to give a shoutout to Jay as well.

Rolled through back in December and realized I had not written a review. I love Taquitos and happened to see one in Lejon on the way to LA so I stopped by even though I had just finished lunch. I ordered three shredded beef Taquitos and a churro donut dessert. The taquitos were okay, not as crunchy as I prefer and a little less meat than the ones I usually eat. The guacamole is more puréed so you don't taste the avocado as much. The churro donut is not like a churro which is a bit more crispier. Overall not a bad churro. For a quick Taquitos fix Roll em Up has a variety of Taquitos and desserts to choose from.

Roll Em Up Taquitos absolutely delivers when it comes to bold, crave-worthy comfort food. The rolled tacos are perfectly crispy, packed with flavor, and insanely delicious, the kind that keeps you thinking about your next visit before you've even finished eating. The corn on the cob is next-level, rolled in hot Cheetos and topped with their special sauce, it's mouth-watering, messy in the best way, and completely unforgettable. What truly elevates the experience is the service. Gianna and Sabrina are amazing, friendly, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Their patience and positive energy made the visit even better. Service with a smile goes a long way, and they absolutely embody that here, which is the number one thing that always brings me back!! Great food, great people, and great vibes, Roll Em Up Taquitos is a must-try!

A taquitos fast food restaurant? Why not. I stopped here to give it a try. The place was not crowded and very quiet. The service order was hard to understand, but it did take asking a lot of questions though. I ordered the 4 pack: Beef flour, 2 Chicken flour, and a Potato flour fully loaded with cheese, quacamole, sauce and cream. After eating the taquitos, they tasted more like they were pre-made and microwaved. I was expecting the homemade kind where all the ingredients were made from scratch. Well, it is a fast food joint after all.

Passed through here again a made another stop here. Second time was better than the first time. I did them loaded without lettuce or chipotle sauce. Was absolutely perfect with every bite. Taquitos were crispy. I did 3 flour beef and 3 flour corn this time. I'm 100% sold on the corn over the flour tortillas. This is definitely a great place and good service. Food is always made to order and super fresh.

Service was amazing! Fast, friendly, and attentive staff. The food was incredible. The fresh guacamole and chips were outstanding--bright, spicy, and perfectly crisp. The fries and the churro donuts are exquisite!! The interior is very well kept, providing a clean and inviting atmosphere. In short: Excellent food, amazing service, and a beautiful spot!

I also appreciated that my drink was served in a real ceramic mug for a dine-in order--a small touch that made the experience feel warm and inviting. Rain + smoothie time = peaceful life. It wasn't busy when we arrived, so our order came out super fast. Service was good -- the staff were friendly and smiley. Not super chatty or recommending things, but that's okay, because I was already busy studying the menu like it was a mystery novel. I ordered the Raspberry Craze smoothie and a Berries Açaí Bowl -- both were yummy and refreshing. Then I spotted these turmeric pineapple probiotic shots in the fridge (hello Vitamin C ), so of course I took a couple bottles home. They tasted like sunshine in tiny form. I also got the Avocado Everything Toast -- and it was delicious! The avocado wasn't chunky like freshly cut avocado. It was more like a smooth puree (probably from a packet), but honestly still yummy. The bread tasted like sourdough -- crispy on the edges, soft in the middle. My toast had personality.
