    Spicy pork bimimbap

I have been driving past this place for years and thought it was time to give it a try. I am not a fan of fast food or chain restaurants. This place is neither. It is a very casual Korean/Japanese spot. It was spotless clean and the service was good. I ordered the spicy pork bimimbap, a traditional Korean dish with rice, vegetables, a protein served with a spicy Korean chili sauce and an egg on top. It was outstanding. The price was $14.99 which I thought was a deal. They also have a variety of sushi, noodle bowls and teriyaki dishes. Give them a try.

I stopped by Roll N Boll to grab takeout for the family. The place is clean and put together nicely and the staff were friendly. Our food was ready when they said it would be, which goes a long way when you're hungry and trying a new spot. I ordered the Grilled Beef Yaki Noodle Bowl and the Deep Fried California Roll. My wife got the grilled chicken with rice. Portion sizes were generous, especially the Yaki Noodles. The food was tasted great. You can tell they use quality ingredients and actually care about what they're serving. I usually don't like hyping places up too much since that can set expectations too high, but this place honestly deserves it. Definitely worth checking out.

We stopped by Roll N Bowl to try it out since we always see it on DoorDash, and figured we'd dine in since we were in the area. Definitely should've stuck with takeout. The place is clearly set up more for pickup orders because dining in felt like an afterthought. The service was friendly, and one of the staff even offered to add extra meat to my katsu since they ran out of brown rice that we had paid extra for, which I appreciated. But overall, the experience was lacking. When we walked in, we let the staff know we needed a minute to look over the menu, and they just disappeared into the back. We ended up ordering from a self service screen, which was fine, but after that, we had to ring the bell just to get basic things like drink cups, utensils, and napkins. We were the only ones there, and it still felt like we had to fend for ourselves. If they're going to continue offering dine-in, a self-serve station for these items would go a long way. The food was just okay. Nothing really stood out. You can get similar food elsewhere, with better service and overall experience. If you're going to try this place, stick to takeout.

Recently tried this place as I work in the area and I was not disappointed. It has become a true fav of mine. Not only is it a great value but I thoroughly enjoy my meal every time. My go to is the honey chicken bowl with rice. It's $13 and usually lasts me about 2 meals, they are generous with the portions. Staff is friendly and kind. I typically do takeout but wouldn't mind eating there. There's a small few tables to dine in. So thankful for this spot!

A new restaurant located in the Arden Arcade area right next to Jimboy's. Plenty of shared parking. The place is pretty small with a handful of tables and chairs. I went with the 50/50 Beef and Spicy Pork and rice bowl. Good size portion of meat! I was plenty full after eating it. I also ordered eggrolls. They were good but nothing special. Size is 1/2 the normal size of an eggroll. I didn't detect any meat in them so I consider them overpriced for basically fried cabbage roll. Overall I enjoyed the food and would eat here again.

DISGUSTING!!! This isn't my first time I usually eat here once every 2 weeks and typically enjoy the food. Today was different, at least I was paying attention this time. First piece of my roll found 1 HAIR. Pushed it aside thinking I'll get through the rest of the roll but ended up finding HAIR THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE ROLL FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER! This was purposely done by one of the employees. I complained and asked for a refund. There was NO DENIAL or EXCUSE, just employees that couldn't look me in the eye because of guilt. I will never return to this place and I will hopefully complain to the health department until that sign up front turns red.

The rice was super mushy and the avacado was browned .. the guy also forgot to charge me and I had to remind him I hadn't paid yet. I only tried this place cause I was in the general area for something else but to say the least it's definitely not worth the drive back.

So l had a hunger for a rice bowl and I just remembered I saw The Wok was a new (ish) place that went in near me so I figure why not. Upon entering the place is small with only a few tables, however it was clean and well lit and smelled as you would suspect a restaurant to smell. I went with the Chicken katsu rice bowl, the wife ordered the crispy California roll and we split some potstickers... Everything was really good and the Chicken katsu was one of the best I had. I didn't even bite down on one piece of fatty chicken the flavors were all there and everything was delicious. The service was great as well there was a young guy and a young girl and both were very friendly and explained to me what items were chicken breast over thigh. My order took a minute to make but that's to be expected when they are making things once you order. Everything was cooked well, seasoned well, and the staff was fun and made the whole experience enjoyable.

What a great little location in the Arden-arcade area. This 16 seater restaurant serves some great Korean and sushi options. I had the spicy pork noodle bowl. It's a large portion and reasonably priced. Definitely popular with to go orders. The staff was super knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. I will be back.

Solid restaurant to get tasty Japanese teriyaki and sushi rolls! The shop is small, but very clean and has plenty of tables inside to eat. We tried bunch of different dishes including teriyaki chicken and beef bowl and both had a really good char flavor to them. Teriyaki chicken was hot and juicy, definitely a must try item. They also have a great selection of sushi rolls. We tried their Dragon roll and baked salmon roll, they were both fresh and tasty. The pricing throughout their menu is very affordable, which I find incredibly appealing in this world of crazy inflation. We'll definitely be back!

We've been pleasantly surprised with this place. Very affordable, good portions and tasty options. We have gotten chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki, the chicken noodle bowl which comes with broccoli and teriyaki chicken, a few of the different sushi rolls and we have been happy with everything we have gotten there. The noodle bowl is a large portion that can be shared with two people.

We skipped the cheese since it's an additional $3 and honestly, I don't think we missed it. The LA galbi was a little dry and for $33, I expected the meat quality to be a little better. We'd already eaten everything else and were starting to pack leftovers. Waitress brought the bill and it still had the chicken on it. And this isnt LA, its in Sacramento? Excuse me!? I can't believe I've driven by this place so many times , before stopping to check it out. I absolutely love Korean BBQ, and any place outside of Orange or LA County that serves Korean BBQ, frankly has a lot of rep to live up to because of how amazing the Korean BBQ scene is down south. This place generally does not disappoint. If you've ever eaten at a Korean BBQ, you might be familiar with several small 'sides' of food that come with your main order or Korean BBQ. Those are called Ban-Chan (there's a whole history about them, if you ever want to search the internet for more info). Most places I've been to, do refills but the refills are hit or miss, depending on the attentiveness of the service person. The actual ban Chan selection isn't as good as most Korean BBQ, however the sushi selection is very good. You have to check out their happy hour pricing: Korean BBQ for under $17 just can't be beat ! This place loses a star for the service. I really dislike having to ask for water refills, again, and again, and again, ...and not get a water refill. Got the feeling this was not an anomoly. Took way too long for meat refills. Wish I could say we were the only table I noticed this happening to. Were there lots of wait staff? Couldn't say there was. So I think this could be related more to not hiring enough people, which doesn't make me love that energy. That makes things stressful for us, and I'm certain it makes the wait staff feel stressed, too. The miso soup is self serve, and is super tasty. The whole inside is decorated with a Korean vibe, which I appreciate in comparison to a place that opts for a cookie modern looking interior that looks like every place else. There's even hot pot here, but I didn't try it. If I could rate 3.5 stars, I would, but this is closer to 4 than 3 stars.
