Great prices, friendly and lots to choose from
    Shelby G.

Great baked items, coffee and specialty coffee drinks. Nice ambiance, gifts. Good service: helpful, friendly, courteous, efficient. Baked goods made on site, something for everyone. I had the walnut cinnamon monkey bread; so delicious!

Not so much an everything bagel
    Celeni P.

All the employees are super friendly! I generally like their coffee but I am consistently disappointed by the baked goods. I got an everything bagel and there was basically no toppings but garlic powder and a few sunflower seeds. The ham and cheese pastries leaves a lot to be desired. The ham is cut in these thick chunks which is not appetizing. It would be good if it was thin sliced ham. And the breakfast burritos have way too much sausage or meat and hardly any eggs or Other ingredients. I go a lot so I hope some suggestions may help improve some items!

    Iced vanilla latte, 12oz

Coffee drinks were pretty good - iced white mocha and an iced vanilla latte. Both needed more ice because they weren't cold enough, so my tip would be to make sure to ask for extra ice! Overall this was decently good coffee for a drive-through window. I'd go again and try something different!

    Friendly shop chicken!

My friends and I stopped here for a snack. Two of us shared a ham and cheese croissant and an oatmeal raisin cookie. The young lady at the window heated the croissant for us and cut it in half. It was really good, but very oily; maybe it was the butter in the croissant or the fat from the cheese, but, regardless, there was a lot of oil. The cookie was soft and good. The prices were really reasonable. Glad we stopped for this snack!

    Breakfast sandwich

Breakfast sandwich, gross. Service, worse. Check your receipts! They asked for a tip, said "x" amount and they put in and entirely different amount. Asked for receipt, noticed the difference and when I mentioned it to the older lady servicing us she doesn't apologize she grabs money out of her tip jar and begrudgingly pushes it at me into my car. I balled the money back up and threw it in the window. As I told her I didn't want it back, I was mentioning it for principal of the matter. The breakfast sandwiches are on soggy English muffins, stinky cheese, microwaved egg slabs and a microwaved no texture sausage patty. Save your money, and take it elsewhere. Their coffee is decent but rarely "hot".

Bear Claw, and Iced Chai Latte w/Almond milk

Cute shop! It was a great way to end our trip in Mendocino. Honestly the best Chai I've ever had, and the pastries were moist and sweet. Perfect little place to grab a quick breakfast and resume the road trip! Also, the service was great, and they were very nice and accommodating when we had 4 separate orders.

Food was fine. The pastries were a little too sweet for my liking. But the people were nice.

The burrito is smaller than a dollar bill and tiny. Not worth even $4. Food was cold. Not worth it.

Are you looking for a great place to spoil your next meal with a delicious snackaroo?…read more I got you! The family had the pleasure of visiting Fort Bragg a couple of times this spring and the restaurants are good there, but Cowlick's Ice Cream is not to be missed! Everybody, but everybody is standing in line at Cowlick's Ice Cream, waiting to get some great one-of-a-kind ice cream flavors, floats, and toppings in downtown Fort Bragg. They have regular cones, sugar cones, waffle cones, and my favorite, chocolate dipped waffle cones! Ice creams can be adorned with with toppings galore and surely you will want to eat a nutritious meal, but may just go back for more ice cream! My personal favorite ice cream is the Hokey Pokey Honeycomb ice cream (on rotation, it is not available all the time). It is creamy and filled with honeycomb candy from a local Fort Bragg candy store! (Unfortunately for us, their the candy retail shop closed). The hubby and offspring went for and enjoyed the more traditional Rocky Road ice cream. Next trip I plan to try their ice cream sammys! The shop is clean and spacious, with plenty of places to sit inside and enjoy ice cream or shakes while watching the goings on in downtown Fort Bragg. I have never been there when there wasn't a wait to order, but it is well worth it! Locals and tourists alike can be consulted on flavor, cone or float choices. The clock is conveniently broken because when enjoying ice cream, who really cares about the time? So yeah, go spoil your next meal with some Cowlick's Ice Cream goodness! They won't disappoint! If you by chance get addicted to the ice cream, I found the local grocery stores carry pints to go! Lucky us!

We had dinner at Petite Percebes/Good Bones on a trip to the Mendocino area in April…read more The service was pleasant and friendly, the space felt comfortable with both tables and couches (no live music at the time we visited), and everything we ate was delicious and nicely presented! Our favorites were: + Broiled oysters with bone marrow butter, Parmesan crema, and breadcrumb: although I'm not usually a huge fan of oysters, I did enjoy these particular ones! + Lemon cream pie with tangerine, lemon curd, brown butter graham, citrus marigold Chantilly: we split one slice of this pie, but I could've eaten a few more slices of the pie by myself (if my stomach had space left). Perfect ending to the meal. + Primavera panisse: crispy chickpea fritters topped with a variety of greens and flower petals. + Yuzu marigold kombucha (Wilder x Petite Percebes collaboration): this was a refreshing, lightly sweet complement to the heavier dishes of the meal. We also tried the cassoulet (which had roasted chicken thigh, Roundman's garlic sausage, pork belly, Heirloom beans - a heartier meaty dish); and the potato chowder with oyster mushrooms, spring greens, and wild nettle pistou (we loved the mushrooms in it). This spot is worth stopping by!

Inside was huge! Giant bar, tons of tables for dining, along with a stage where it looked like they hosted live music! We ordered our meals up at the front counter and took a seat in the dining area. I ordered a Golden State Mighty Dry cider and their grilled cheese sandwich with added caramelized onions and mushrooms. We were the only people inside, but food came out quick. Everyone was a huge fan of their meals. I loved my sandwich, the bread was absolutely delicious. Also was a huge fan of those mushrooms they used! We ended up leaving with a fresh baked loaf of bread when we left too for home. Service was great, food was on point, and loved the vibe they had going. Would love to come back to see some music one of these days.

I went hard on the appetizers- mussels steamer, calamari, and fresh oysters. All were fresh tasting and very well done. The oysters were sweet and a little larger, the calamari crisp, tender, and fully cooked. I liked the mussels, but they were a touch small and the sauce was actually great but there wasn't much. We closed out with the Caesar salad topped with the local rockfish done Cajun style, wow! We didn't want a bunch of extras and it let us try the grilled fish. Shockingly good salad (yes, rest of the US, you can do it!) and the fish was perfect. The view was spectacular, right out the harbor to the sea. The interior was huge. My only complaint was the person who took our reservation and then checked us in was abrupt and disinterested in customer service. Her manager seemed squarely on it and so set a great tone. Same with our server and the clean up team, superb service.
