    Walnut Monkey Bread
    Monica C.

We ordered a breakfast sandwich, a few pastries, a bagel, and plain coffees. The service was great, and the staff was friendly, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The bread on the breakfast sandwich seemed stale, the cheese appeared to be Kraft-style processed cheese, and the sausage lacked flavor and color. The bagel was hard and crumbly, making it difficult to enjoy. The pastries also seemed old, so the muffin liner was stuck to nearly the entire pastry. We spent close to $40 and were unable to finish most of what we purchased because the food quality was so poor. While the service was excellent, the food did not meet expectations, and based on this experience, I would not recommend this place.

Service was good, cheery sweet ladies took care of me. I wasn't a big fan of the food I got: breakfast burrito and the bear claw. The breakfast burrito had so much cheese I could *squeeze* out the cheese. The sausage is the same sausage you would get on pizza which is fine just thought I should note that to folks. I couldn't find any egg in my burrito, but maybe that's because it's buried in cheese. Id recommend filling out the burrito a bit more with some country potatoes, and a little salt and pep could go a long way. The bear claw is a bit sad, little hard. I got a black coffee, it was fine as black coffee should be. Decent vibes and the layout for the drive thru section was straightforward.

Not so much an everything bagel

All the employees are super friendly! I generally like their coffee but I am consistently disappointed by the baked goods. I got an everything bagel and there was basically no toppings but garlic powder and a few sunflower seeds. The ham and cheese pastries leaves a lot to be desired. The ham is cut in these thick chunks which is not appetizing. It would be good if it was thin sliced ham. And the breakfast burritos have way too much sausage or meat and hardly any eggs or Other ingredients. I go a lot so I hope some suggestions may help improve some items!

My friends and I stopped here for a snack. Two of us shared a ham and cheese croissant and an oatmeal raisin cookie. The young lady at the window heated the croissant for us and cut it in half. It was really good, but very oily; maybe it was the butter in the croissant or the fat from the cheese, but, regardless, there was a lot of oil. The cookie was soft and good. The prices were really reasonable. Glad we stopped for this snack!

Coffee drinks were pretty good - iced white mocha and an iced vanilla latte. Both needed more ice because they weren't cold enough, so my tip would be to make sure to ask for extra ice! Overall this was decently good coffee for a drive-through window. I'd go again and try something different!

    Breakfast sandwich

Breakfast sandwich, gross. Service, worse. Check your receipts! They asked for a tip, said "x" amount and they put in and entirely different amount. Asked for receipt, noticed the difference and when I mentioned it to the older lady servicing us she doesn't apologize she grabs money out of her tip jar and begrudgingly pushes it at me into my car. I balled the money back up and threw it in the window. As I told her I didn't want it back, I was mentioning it for principal of the matter. The breakfast sandwiches are on soggy English muffins, stinky cheese, microwaved egg slabs and a microwaved no texture sausage patty. Save your money, and take it elsewhere. Their coffee is decent but rarely "hot".

Food was fine. The pastries were a little too sweet for my liking. But the people were nice.

The burrito is smaller than a dollar bill and tiny. Not worth even $4. Food was cold. Not worth it.

Amazing muffins. Coffee is also excellent. Friendly staff. You need to try it. The best was the wedding cookies.

We ordered the Dorothy's revenge and by far the best Benedict i've had. Also got the famous punkin waffles, again the BEST waffles ever!!! my son loved his food too, usually hard getting a 2 year old to eat lol. now on to staff/ service. when we sat, they gifted me a beautiful rose for moms day and it took a lot in me not to cry. everyone is sooo sweet and the owner checked on us regularly! the whole family works here and everyone took SUCH good care of us and involved my son. we will for sure be coming here every time we visit. thank you egg fam for making the day so special!!!!

I got the burger and the Dungeness crap melt (make sure to ask for sourdough for this - a must) - both were delicious (and the home fries were crispy and well seasoned). My partner got the flying monkeys potatoes and the Dungeness crab omelette - both were also delicious to me, but the omelette did have noticeable use of butter so I would caution future patrons who are lactose-sensitive. Interior decor was very wizard of oz themed; it adds nicely to the charm of the yellow walls and warm/inviting energy in the small dining space offered. Definitely a memorable spot. The only reason I deducted the star is for the rewards system being unclear. I had my missing transactions caught up recently, but there are small placards on each table that advertises $10 off your next meal and $10 off on your birthday after you sign up for the rewards program; however, there are no clear instructions on how to redeem your rewards without having to explicitly ask the waiters/waitresses at the restaurant. I collected sufficient points to have $10 refunded for the second meal I had, but instead, I only collected points. I suppose I would be able to catch up at the future meal, but I live so far away, I would not be able to reap the benefits unless I decided to come out here to fort Bragg during my birthday. The likelihood is low since I live in the Bay Area. I would recommend making this clear, and for the rewards system/app to include clear instructions on how to redeem points collected for the discounts.

We loved the atmosphere which they have live music playing! Our server was very kind and gave us recommendations. We were able to split and share a Cesar salad and they gave two plates to share which was kind instead of one big plate and we appreciated that. I give 4/5 stars for the quality of the food only because I felt the spaghetti noodles were a little salty along with the sauce being salty. I love love love spaghetti and this was the first time I've been to an Italian restaurant and felt something was salty because I'm never one to complain. It could have been an off day but from the time we ordered to the actual dinner entrees to come took more than 20 minutes and it wasn't too crowded. Also, we ordered cannolis and the shell didn't seem crunchy/fresh but the flavor was there and the texture of the ricotta was smooth! For a couple who ordered 2 appetizers , two main entrees, one bottle of red wine , and two cannolis to share, we spent about 200 which was a little bit pricier than we usual experience at a typical Italian restaurant so just a heads up. Otherwise, this is a good place for fine dining in the area with nice staff and good portion food

Such a shame - came for the…read moreTuesday evening special dinner (family night) where the owner wrote a history of L'Aquila & food from the region, and then the dinner aligns with that. While a table was booked for 6:45 they didn't seat us til 7:!5. The waiter was awful - didn't introduce himself, didn't care about anything (other than maybe his girlfriend in the bar area), knew nothing about the L'Aquila tasting menu and provided no insights to the dishes, charged us $14/martini despite menu stating $8/drink. While the owner's write up and online menu included a dessert (Ferratelle Dolci), no dessert was offered or included at the actual dinner and the server said 'nope - no dessert'. This is so misleading and unexcusable when the promoted dinner menu includes it. Overall a disaster of a dinner - and sadly the food wasn't good either. The tomato starter was uninspired, the pasta cheese sauce hinted of Kraft or pre-packaed, and the lamb skewers were overcooked to the point of being almost jerky. Clearly an owner who spends more time writing his articles than he does training staff, providing food that matches the actual online menu, and ensuring some level of quality. So, can't recommend this place until substantial improvements are made.

We decided to eat breakfast here because they have tables outside. (We have 3 dogs) We took a bench out front not a problem. The owner said that as long as the dogs stay in the stroller we could eat inside. This made our day (it was cold outside). I love that small town community feeling. The owner, who was on the premise totally made us feel at home and welcomed the dogs. The waitress seemed to know most of the regulars. I came here looking for the biscuits and gravy. The pictures looked great. Also got a side of ham. My wife ordered a ham and cheese omelette. Her's came out stuffed with ham. I was kinda surprised considering the price of meat. But definitely a deal for price. Mine came with a plate of biscuits covered in gravy. And a nice slice of fried ham. I wish I could give them 6 stars it was the highlight of my trip to fort Bragg

It's right behind the Sea Bird lodge sign and next to Chevron. Once you found it you can't miss it. From what we can see there is no signage on the restaurant with the name on it or we totally missed it. It's not a new restaurant. It's got that homey feel to it. I'm guessing it's a mom and pop shop, a small business. And we should support those local all businesses and not hit up Dennys if we can. We waked in at 7:08an in Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The place was quiet. One others gentleman was there. When we left a party of 3 were just settling in. They have a full menu two sided that they hand out upon entry that is laminated. You are welcome to sit anywhere. We chose a window seat in the front corner. The temperature was pleasant inside and I was able to shed my heavy jacket and was comfortable in my jeans and a light sweater. They have 2 whiteboards of additional specials. We got the bacon, cheese, and bacon omelet with a side of potato's and a biscuit. You have choices of toast, pancake, or biscuit. As for potatoes you could have gotten a potato patty instead. The servings were huge. We only ate half and were full. Now we have leftovers for tomorrow's breakfast. The potatoes were real fresh potatoes. Some still had the sling on them. They were cooked on the griddle. I should have asked for mine extra crispy as I like crispy potatoes. They weren't salty or really seasoned at all so I added some salt and paired it with ketchup. Very tasty. The omelette was chuck full of crispy bacon and avocado , it could have used more cheese. The biscuit was light and flaky, but it lacked the buttery flavor. It was a true big biscuit that was home made. There was an array of jams and jellies to choose from and peanut butter. We chose apricot. Overall it was a good breakfast and I highly Reccomend this place if your hotel doesn't offer a free breakfast like ours didn't. It was also nice that we could walk over from our hotel.
