Cream cheese selection is impressive and delicious. Also noteworthy: there is a parking lot, and free parking this close to the borough of West Chester is always much appreciated. The staff while nice is completely unorganized and unprofessional, servicing people clearly cutting in line. The food was just ok, we tried breakfast sandwiches this time but were extremely disappointed with the overcooked bacon and fake looking and tasting cheese. I really wanted to like this place. First time here today, the service was poor, lots of people standing around doing nothing. The coffee was watered down, the bagels were no better than frozen from the supermarket and the cream cheese reminded me of something you'd squirt out of a can. Was very excited for a new cafe to open and it has potential, though it's not exactly customer friendly. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and bacon. I was told I could not have tomato but I could have bacon. I asked if I could pay extra for the tomato-- I was told no. I clarified it was not because they didn't have tomatoes- just that I couldn't special order-- except there is a section of the menu to make your own sandwich. Mind blown. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! My dad owns a food truck, so I really appreciate good customer service / small businesses. The owner as well as the staff are always so kind & friendly. The owner is also constantly working on the floor and serving tables. I love going to eat knowing I am contributing to a small business with genuine ownership. I made it in twice last week for breakfast sandwiches. Thursday was less crowded and I felt the service was exceptional. We were able to place our order and wait for it and took it to go. The bagels are AMAZING! And the egg sandwiches were delicious. Friday I called my order in and I was glad I did because when we went to pick it up it was chaos in there. I noticed the bagels for my sandwiches were burnt. The employees behind the registers seemed flustered, and the customers waiting seemed annoyed. I'm not faulting them for this because it was opening week. I think it would be better if they had a way to place orders online. It may streamline the situation when it gets crowded. Overall, I'm obsessed with their bagels and I plan to be a regular customer. read more

If I could leave 2.5 stars, I would. Overall, very average. Ordered a breakfast sandwich on a bagel and the bagel was 80% of the sandwich. Bagel was pretty good, but the makeup of the sandwich itself was weak. Also had a side order of home fries that were pretty burnt. I can only comment on their carry out bagels and cream cheese. We like that the bagels aren't so heavy and dense and that they have the chewiness a good bagel should have. I have tried the plain and scallion cream cheeses. The scallion is nice and fresh with scallion slices, unlike some of the chain bagel shops. My only reason for taking off a star is that I would like to see more everything seasonings on the everything bagels and more cinnamon and raisin in those bagels. read more

I was so excited to see this restaurant finally opened after months of anticipation! It was quick to get a cup of coffee and a bacon egg and cheese to go, and the bagel was amazing. The girls behind the front counter were friendly and helpful and gave me a menu to take home. I'll definitely be back to dine-in soon with my wife. The only negative thing to say is the manager was not nice. She was scolding her employees, even though they seemed to be doing their job and trying to figure out new systems (as they are a new restaurant with new staff- understandable). She was not helpful, and people around were definitely noticing. I feel bad for the girls who have to work for that manager. read more

This morning i visited rolling stars for the first time. I ordered two different bagels sandwiches. The bagels were perfectly toasted, huge, and very fluffy. My eggs were ACTUALLY made sunny side up for once which surprised me. YOKE! The sausage was delicious and the cheese was melted and not just slapped on top like some establishments do. After searching for a go to bagel shop in town after 5 years I think I finally found it! Also, wasnt sure if it was the manager walking around or not but whoever it was she was very customer friendly and customer oriented. Also Covid protocols were in place and felt very comfortable even when it seemed very busy. 10/10. read more

Picked up half dozen rainbow bagels today with cream cheese. Was hoping to pickup some St Patty's green bagels but they were sold out (understandably). Ordered online for takeout, we were 10 minutes late and our food was still hot and ready! Amazing bagels, so soft and fluffy but perfect chew! One of the employees gave us a bag of free bagels to try as we were talking about our love for New York Bagels. It was greatly appreciated. Food was amazing. Only issue I had was that we came in half an hour before closing and were told we couldn't get anything hot. Okay no problem, but It felt like they were rushing us out of the store. Every time we said our order it was met with "let me see if we can cook it because the kitchen is off". We all ordered cold sandwiches. My husband and I went to Rolling Stars for the first time today. The restaurant is nice. Clean and airy with a counter area displaying all the bagel and topping options available. I can understand why people like the bagels. They are made on-site every day along with the fresh squeezed orange juice. The restaurant just opened so there are some kinks to work out. A long line out the door mixed with folks picking up orders, wanting to order, or wanting to sit down to eat would have been easier managed if someone were at the door greeting everyone. Folks were standing around waiting for their take out orders (note they take about 20 minutes to fill). The food was great! Nice size portions. And the bagel chips were tasty and different from the normal sides. The wait staff was friendly, working hard to serve everyone. It looks like they could use more help. But again, this is a new establishment so there are bound to be kinks in the beginning. We will definitely be going back. Wishing you success! read more

Unbelievably bad service from the counter staff. I ordered an untoasted everything bagel. After waiting a few minutes I asked if I could have one from the basket of bagels that are in the front with all the other bagels. She informed me it has to come from the back. I understand they have their processes in place and I had no problem with that. What was extremely irritating is that she was on her phone and there was no sort of rush going on at all. I watched the kitchen staff bring out the bagel while she walked in the back. I asked the man who brought it out if it was my bagel but I'm not sure he understood me and figured it's not his job so I continued to stare at my order and wait. She finally came back eating while on her phone and casually laughing with a friend. I continued to wait assuming she would call my name and notice the waiting order. After a few more minutes she got off her phone and saw side orders waiting, called my name, and asked if I had ordered a bagel. I did, 15min ago. I've had bad experiences in the past here but I like the food. Unfortunately I don't think I can come back and support this place anymore. read more

normally, i'm not one to leave bad reviews but this is warranted. i was in rolling stars a few days ago and the customer service was AWFUL. the girl working at the counter was so rude and made no effort to make my experience there a pleasant one. she cared more about her extremely long nails than her job, or at least it seemed like that. i have come in here frequently and normally i love it. i usually wind up with amy and she is great!! i wont be going back unless that girl is gone. read more
