I love exploring Bakersfield on road trips from Los Angeles to Northern California. There are so many great places to eat if you're willing to deviate from your bee-line up the I-5. This time I found Rolls and Grill and enjoyed some vermicelli noodles, egg rolls, and spring rolls. I always come here and food is amazing! The only thing I didn't care for was when I made an order and the prices were different from the website online! When I went inside to pay for my order he said it wasn't updated and it was cheaper to do an online order and laughed it off and charged my card. I don't mind paying more for great food but if your website and every food website shows different prices I feel like it should be honored. read more

I have been coming here for 3years and everything so far off the menu has been so delicious! Best Rare Steak Pho in town hands down!! The broth is not super oily and the meat is very tender, thinly sliced and fresh. The steak spring rolls are also very good! And the honey siracha wings! We had poke bowls. Not much of a selection; looks like most people come in for their pho and other Vietnamese dishes. But no complaints on our poke bowls. The fish was super fresh! It was diced beautifully! I actually thought the tuna was watermelon! Great spot! read more

Favorite place !! My boyfriend and I come in atleast once every week ! Staff is very friendly, they memorized our order which makes us feel right at home. We always get the honey siracha chicken wings, they are delicious and crunchy ! We also get the classic pork and shrimp rolls with the peanut butter sauce. Overall the best place in town ! Ok, so let me start of by saying their milk tea is the best I've ever had. Second, i ordered online and was able to customize my order to my liking. I ordered the shrimp bowl and my husband got the beef bowl and beef rolls. My order wasn't how i customized it, but it was still amazingly delicious. For the price, i expected a little more shrimp, but it was still yum regardless. My husband's beef bowl had a lot of fat on the meat, but he said it was still good. The spring rolls...i never had rolls like this before and let me tell you...they were great! We will definitely come again, but will double check the order after its made. read more

One of the best banh mi sandwiches I've ever had! I keep wanting to try something new, but I can't not get the banh mi! My family loves the pork and chicken bowls (and I always try to sneak some tastes). We also get the grilled pork spring rolls with the peanut sauce which is delicious as well (sweet and spicy, chewy and crunchy!). Her chicken pho speaks to my soul. I am a foodie, love all different cultures and cuisine; and anything that appeases the tongue I must try. I can remember the first time I tried it, the smell was the sweetness of the onion and basil, the sounds of a busy kitchen, and the taste of her chicken pho was Unami. It was a perfect example of sweet, salty, sour, and bitterness. The chicken was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The broth, oh the broth was just breath taking. I reminded me of home. It's alright pho. Better than maui pho in terms of noodle and soup. However I am consistently disappointed by the quality of their meatball. If it were not for the meatball with weird taste and smell.. i would give 4 stars. it tastes like... umm kinda very old meatball with some sour taste? i really like the meatball in the soup to give the greasy flavor but this might be a place I would have to give up that flavor. So so so delicious! We had the Pork fresh spring rolls & they were flavorful with an wonderful crunchy center. We also tried the Spicy Pork something (can't remember the name) which was very good, too. On the recommendation of a prior customer, we ordered the Pork Bahn Mi sandwich to have on a road trip the next day. So glad we did, because it was very yummy! To say we are less than obsessed would be preposterous!! Rolls and Grills makes us sooo happy!!! If you haven't got on this level, than get on it!! Loan's cooking is indescribably fresh, and so healthy. We order the fresh rolls with no vermicelli for a healthier option, poke bowl double scoop salmon and ahi, Pho with tons of veggies and my husband always gets her Banh Mi sandwiches because it's worth the few carbs. Our drug reps all know I want her cooking for lunch. Occasionally I cheat and get my guilty pleasure with the delicious fried Spring Rolls Most importantly, their food is always consistent and amazing!!! So is Door Dash. Totally worth the few extra dollars, at least in our opinions with our busy lives. We will continue to order 2-3 times a week for the rest of our lives read more
