    Walnut Spinach Salad
    Ashleigh F.

My coworkers and I tried this restaurant for the first time after it was suggested for lunch. We all ordered our food online & one of my coworkers went to pick it up. I had to setup an account to place my order online. After setting up my account & placing my order I got an email & several text messages updating me again when my order would be ready and that my order had been received. When my coworker got to the business, the employee was the only one working & was making our food. All of our orders were packaged nicely & had sauces, napkins, & forks in each bag. The sandwiches that my coworkers ordered were huge. I ended up getting the cranberry walnut salad. The salad came with walnuts, spinach, bleu cheese, avocados, dried cranberries, croutons, and two side containers of balsamic vinaigrette. I opted for no mushrooms but my sun-dried tomatoes were also missing. The salad did not come with chicken so I had to pay extra to add it to my salad. The ingredients were fresh and the salad was filling. I would definitely return to try other options on the menu.

Tuna wrap was disappointing. Not much tuna and mostly spinach.

I ordered lunch from Roly Poly and I wasn't impressed with the tuna wrap I ordered. It was mostly spinach with a little bit of tuna and what looked like Craft singles cheese? Maybe their other wraps are better? I won't be in a hurry to order from them again.

The food was absolutely NASTY! The tuna was runny wet, the Kraft singles cheese () wasn't even melted, and there was more tomato than tuna. I feel like my money was completely wasted. I was trying to support local businesses close to home and now I regret that I did. I will never be back!

Excellent little hidden gem! The tuna is delicious! He let me try a sample and it's so yummy!! He was kind and super helpful. It's tucked away but totally worth coming out and finding. They have some unique menu items too. Just a small little family owned business.

Gross. I made my own sandwich. There was way too much mayo and the lettuce was wilted and hot. I will not go back.

Are they closed? There was a paper sign that said they were closed and the folks at Firehouse Subs feel they are permanently closed.

They are open and back in business as of Oct 26 2021.

The space is super light, airy, and gives off that laid-back coastal vibe that makes you want to stay a while. The menu leans into that "wellness but still indulgent" balance. everything I tasted was fresh and thoughtfully made. The coffee was a standout too, smooth and not overly sweet, which I personally loved. A lot of people come here for the breakfast burritos, pancakes, and specialty lattes, so it's a solid brunch option if you want something a little elevated from the usual rotation. Service was friendly and pretty quick, even when it got busy, which I appreciated. It does get packed, especially on weekends, so just be ready for a bit of a wait.

Drinks: I ordered a matcha latte, iced with oat milk. I knew it was a mistake as I watched them make it and the match came out of a squeeze bottle. My mom ordered hot black coffee, claiming it tasted burnt and was undrinkable. Mains: I ordered the strawberries & cream pancakes which came with three extremely tiny pancakes, that tasted like whole wheat. The "fresh jam" was overly sugared and had a smoothie like consistency. For $16 I was hungry and disappointed. My mom ordered the grain and egg bowl, wait it was underwhelming. Shocked there are so many positive reviews.

This isn't a skimpy sandwich. I love the Italian and my new love is the Suprimo - prosciutto, fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers. I add cherry peppers for just the right amount of heat and balsamic vinegar. Just look at the photo of those thick slices of mozzarella, loaded up with prosciutto and plenty of cherry peppers. Straight up fire!

And parking is not the easiest, you will likely find yourself in the Harris Teeter garage. But the wait is worth it. As a NJ native and something of a sandwich aficionado, I have a rather discerning taste for a good sub sandwich. So upon a friend's recommendation, I went with the classic Italian. It came with prosciutto, hot capicola, genoa salami, and sharp provolone cheese. Note to everyone: Go for the sharp provolone, not mild! The first thing I want to say about this sub/hoagie is major props for the bread. It was crusty with sesame seeds on the outside, pillow soft inside. About the only thing I would wish is that it was semolina bread. Outside of that, kudos for the bread. Plenty of meat on the sandwich, which is key. I HATE HATE HATE when I order a sub and they give me something like three or four slices of meat. Not gonna name names...but that's not an issue at PH. I really like the grab and go options for various food items like long hot peppers, broccoli rabe, pickle chips, and dirt pudding. Excellent addition. I'm taking a star off since they only offer bottled drinks, you can't get free refills. No brewed iced tea, that's only available in bottles too. I'll at least forgive them for having Pepsi products since that's a Philly tradition. I'll definitely return to try their Italian tuna, chicken cutlet, and roast pork options.
