    Bunny Hop , Sweet Spring

Always drove by the spot and have been wanting to try it! Pleasantly surprised and worth it. I tried some of their spring menu drinks which included the Bunny Hop and Sweet Spring. The Bunny Hop is a white mocha strawberry latte and it was delicious; the strawberry added sweetness and freshness. Sweet spring is a butter pecan caramel latte and it was good coffee with slight notes of butter pecan. Service was great , I was allowed time to look over their extensive menu as it was my first time. Drinks and food came out fast. The ambiance is great , way bigger inside than I thought and nicely decorated. Plenty of seating inside with some seats outside. Overall , loved it and would come back to try their sandwiches!

    Avocado Toast with Poached Egg
    Amanda R.

Very expensive! Two slices of toast with a poached egg, a cold brew, and a black Americano cost me $65 before tip! Food quality felt low for the price- avocado seemed like a spread from a bag, very thin layer, poached eggs were hard all the way through. If I paid 40-45$ for this breakfast I'd be less disappointed, but this ran me almost 80 bucks once I tipped.

Really great spot in Burbank with ample, comfortable seating to work in. Coffee was fantastic. I got a Brie toast as well with apple and caramelized onion and it was top tier. Staff could be a bit friendlier, but overall a good experience

Chai Latte and half Half Sandwich w/ Souphalf

Love the chai latte and half soup/half sandwich options! Great ambiance and customer service. Kitchen staff delivered my food and offered to pick it up, nice gesture even though there's a plate drop off option. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Really enjoyed my time eating, drinking and reading my book there.

I adore this place. Service is great and quick depending on the line, but they hustle! More importantly they're nice. Interior is hip. Coffee is good. Food and pastries are delightful. Sit inside and plug away on your laptop or sit outside with a friend and enjoy the sun.

Local burbank breakfast lunch spot. I love their pastries - almond croissant, muffins - very unique flavors. Don't even get me started on the cookies - so good! You order at the front counter and are given a number if you are dining in, they will deliver your food directly to your able. They will also bus the table after you finish eating. Love. how many neighbors around magnolia area, gather here, on this morning you could see several friends catching up over coffee and some food. Servers are nice and the space is very opening.

Stopped by for a morning latte to go and it is so cozy and great for working and relaxing, very inviting atmosphere. My favorite is their almond croissant, but all their fresh pastries and coffee are delicious . I also ordered breakfast burrito for later. Decided to try it when I got home and everything blended perfectly the cheese, potatoes and eggs, amazing.! Their staff is friendly and helpful, making the experience wonderful. The ambiance is warm and inviting, like a cozy escape in Magnolia Park. A hidden gem with amazing drinks and food. It reminds me of the reason why I keep coming back.! They have good quality, food & coffee.

Caprese salad & Hibiscus tea! Kettle chips on side.

Oh, this place is a gem! I love the coffee, the Hibiscus tea, the food, and everything about the ambiance. It has that classic Paris Bistro vibe--- Good food and good coffee. I had the caprese salad this time around, with a side of their yummy in-house kettle chips. So addicting. I usually get a coffee here, and they never fail to make the perfect cup, whether it's iced or a hot mocha. The staff is always friendly and grounded in that way that makes LA so interesting. The neighborhood is the best, with cute boutiques and my favorite improv theater, The LA Connection Theater. Yes, I perform there sometimes. :)

Are there outlets to plug in my laptop?

Yes there are scattered outlets underneath the benches on the wall. It just requires you to bend under the bench and squeeze it in sometimes.

Are there gluten free breads/wrap options?

They do have gluten free bread that you can sub for the sandwiches. The spinach wraps are not gluten free though. I highly recommend the avocado toast on the gluten free bread!!

I was excited to try Republik Coffee, but unfortunately the experience missed the mark…read more I ordered an iced vanilla matcha, a salted cold brew cloud, and banana bread. The first issue came when my matcha was made hot instead of iced and had to be remade. Even after the remake, it tasted like straight matcha powder and wasn't well mixed. The banana bread was served cold and wasn't warmed up, which was disappointing. What stood out most, though, was the cleanliness. As I walked into the shop around 7:30 a.m., the outdoor trash area was already overflowing. Inside, there was a trash can right next to the pickup counter that smelled bad and had visible stains all over it. For being so early in the morning, I was surprised that the trash hadn't been emptied or the area cleaned before opening. The salted cold brew cloud was decent, but overall the drinks, food, and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Hoping this was just an off morning, but based on this visit, I wouldn't rush back.

I had passed by this restaurant before but had never been curious enough to actually stop in. This time their drink menu advertised outside caught my attention so I figured "hey, why not?" From the moment I walked in i was trying to figure out whether I liked the atmosphere or not. The music was excellent, but the décor took me a second to process. It felt like an 80s lounge crashed into a neon Día de los Muertos inspired art gallery. It's most definitely not a quiet, cozy restaurant. It has more of a loud, colorful, party style personality. I was seated promptly by a kind hostess but I wasn't attended to by a waiter for nearly 10 minutes. Once my waiter did come by he was kind, quick, and professional. Now, I'm going to be honest.. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Mexican restaurant food, so I didn't have the highest expectations. I ordered the potato taquitos, a Jarrito Loco made with watermelon purée, vodka instead of tequila, and chamoy on the rim, plus chiles toreados and one carne asada taco. Laugh all you want, but I was half expecting the food to come out looking like a cafeteria lady had splattered it onto a plate... I was genuinely impressed by the presentation instead. The potato "taquitos" were bigger than I expected so don't let the "itos" fool you. They were crispy, flavorful, filling, and honestly so delicious. Those get a 5/5 from me. My drink was also incredible. It was refreshing, especially with how hot the day was, and had just the right amount of alcohol. The presentation was so cute I almost felt bad ruining it. Easily one of the best drinks I've had in the Burbank area -- 5/5. The carne asada taco wasn't as impressive as the potato taquitos, so I'd give that a 3/5. The chile toreado was definitely spicy, it just needed to be salted a little more but otherwise no complaints! I need to remind myself not to be too quick to judge because I was genuinely surprised by this place. The décor wasn't fully my personal style, but the food and drinks more than made up for it. I'd definitely come back again, especially for the potato taquitos and drinks.

But Over/Under has a distinct advantage with its cozy, sports bar feel and friendly staff. The booths are comfortable, the booze selection is ample, and there are a whole bunch of TV's for watching games. Our server, Chelsea, was a very good egg; funny and very helpful with suggestions re the menu and various drinks. She checked on us repeatedly, and made sure we had all we needed. My wife ordered a Gummy Bear Shot that was tart and sweet and very enjoyable. On the food side, the menu is filled with the greatest hits of casual, sports bar foods, but all kicked up several notches and more interesting than the usual. My wife ordered the Truffle Burger, replete with onions and mushrooms and cheese. The trappings were all very tasty, and the burger itself was packed with flavor, and came cooked to a very proper medium rare. The side of lemon-pepper fries were hand cut and crispy, though the citrusy tang wasn't my thing. A tad less successful was my Pastrami Sandwich. The meat, listed as house-made, had good flavor but was tough. The kale slaw with it also had good flavor, and the slight bitterness was a nice foil for the rich pastrami. Onion rings were excellent, and (regardless of the lemon-pepper) the better bet as a side. All in all, this is a great, comfy place with good menu and a really welcoming staff. I'd go back in a heartbeat to try the wings and pizza, both of which looked excellent when delivered to neighboring tables.

I visit this place last week and I really wanted to like since a friend recommended this place but…read moremy experience was horrible, everything went wrong, I will list a couple of thing that happened and made me never wanting to go back again. They told me the wait was 30-45 minutes since I really wanted to try the place I agreed. We arrived there at 11:15am and the out me in the waitlist, I wait for 1hr and I never receive the notification on my phone that my table was ready so I want to ask what was going on, the guy tolde oh you missed your table, and I said how come if I haven't got any notifications on my phone? He said show me your phone and I did and he did apologize and said give me few minutes I will give you the next table, does few minutes turn into another 39min. At this point I was already frustrated from all the wait but I remained calmed. Finally after almost 2hr we got our table, we order our food. My daughter order the French toast with fresh strawberry's, on the menu has the option with strawberry sauce or Fresh strawberry's and we specifically asked for Fresh strawberry's. I order chilaquiles and my husband also chilaquiles and my sun order pancakes. The food arrived after almost 1hr wait, we were starving after all the wait and the order of the French toast was wrong they send it with strawberry sauce instead of fresh strawberry's and we let our waiter know and he did offer to change it or just bring the fresh strawberry's on the side and my daughter said she was starving and didn't want to wait for another order so just said she just wanted the strawberry's on the side, he did bring the strawberries. And everything will be fine even do we didn't like the food, but when we got the check they charge $6 for the side of strawberries, I wouldn't mind if it was our mistake. I know $6 it's not a lot, it's just the principle that they supposed to correct their mistake. We didn't ask them to remove the charge we just paid and we still leave a good tip because we al way like to tip good. But honestly I wouldn't recommend this place. And we are never going back.
