So I'm visiting Seattle from California, and in need of a rental car. Problem is, I'm hungrier than I am in need of the rental car. Romio's, not more than three stores down on the same block from Budget Rental Car, had me covered! Although plenty of things on the menu looked delicious, I'm a huge fan of calzones, so I decided to give the calzone here a shot. I created my own, choosing pepperoni, mushroom and black olive for my filling. The calzone proved to be fresh baked perfection! The breading was soft and slightly doughy with a crisp, almost flaky outside. It was piping hot, but I couldn't stop! Scalding my mouth, I kept taking bite after bite of this delicious calzone. I also (not knowing how huge this calzone was going to be - think medium pizza, folded over), ordered mozzarella sticks. Oh man, these things weren't bread crumb breaded. They were battered and deep fried, and were absolutely delicious. My first bite, and the mozzarella did that "stringy" thing, where the further you pull it from your mouth, the more it just stretches, and stretches! At around $12.00, I'd say this calzone was perfect for the price. I was only able to put half of it in my stomach (in addition to a half order of mozzarella sticks), so the fact that I had half to eat for dinner later on, made it an average of two meals for $6.00. I had a great personal pizza. A little smaller than I realized though. The timeliness wasn't the best. When I came to pick-up my order they seemed to not have gotten the order to the kitchen. The customer service agent said it would take 6 min but really I ended up waiting for another 20 minutes. I was disappointed with that but I'll still give them another chance. read more

Staying at the Camlin and just chose this place because we could walk and had a 4 star rating. My husband and I created our own, sort of Mediterranean pizza and it was delicious. Our friends had the chicken Parmesan and the low carb special and they were all very happy with their choices. Some long haired grubby lookin guy always delivers to us in a fairly quick time or some tall teenager kid with curly hair when we do game night over at a friends and we sometimes order every other Fridays. I always ask for extra cheese and they so far have not skimped. I always get my dipping sauce for our appetizer add on and they sure do pasta right as well as the desserts . For an Italian American joint it's not bad and our choice when hanging with a group of friends. We usually spend for a group of 6 to 10 people anywhere from $135 on up with an added $25 $35 tip. I had no expectations coming in here as I was desperately hungover from a wedding the night before and just needed food immediately and this place was close to my hotel. We were thoroughly impressed with our calzone and eggplant parm sandwich. Excellent customer service. The gentleman working the tables was also working the bar and he made us a wonderful and generous Bloody Mary. The entire establishment was exceptionally clean. My wife and I were recently in Seattle to play tourist and stayed at the Homewood Suites, by Hilton just about a 2 minute walk from Romio's on Pike Street. Although the name is Romio's Pizza and Pasta, they have a pretty extensive menu that includes calzones, salads, and my favorite fruit, calamari. Oh, they also have tiramisu and baklava, which unfortunately I didn't have space to try. Anyway, after a disastrous dinner the first night up the street at Six Arms, we decided to try a Romio's special medium size pizza and a couple of great draft beers!!!!! I'm a big guy and we couldn't finish the pizza so we brought it back to the hotel. The next night, we decided to order an antipasto salad from Romio's and reheat the pizza in our hotel room. Great antipasto!!!! The next night we made the mistake of going to the Cheesecake Factory, waiting over 45 minutes to get seated while there were many unoccupied tables, having our order get screwed up, and just getting a mediocre meal. I don't recall where we went the next night. On our final night in Seattle we decided to order a pizza take out from Romio's and again, we were not disappointed. The servers are great. Our main server was Christina, who is originally from Bulgaria but is very attentive and takes good care of you. The other server I didn't get his name but he is an older Army veteran who I went out of my way to thank him for his service to our country. I think he really appreciated that. Overall I highly recommend Romio's for a reasonably priced and very good Italian dinner. read more

Me and my girlfriend are on vacation for the week and are staying down the street from them. I ordered a half pineapple and ham half everything medium pizza. They made it wrong and we were missing sausage and my girlfriends soup. I called the store and the manger apologized and said he would make us the things we were missing and a pineapple ham pizza. I stayed at the hotel next door for two weeks. The first week I stopped in, it was close and easy. There is a lady with a strong accent that was very rude, didn't offer to fill my water, ask how my food was or anything. I felt like an inconvenience. The second week my last day in Seattle I was in a pinch for time and figured maybe she had a bad day. I returned to the same lady on the phone for at least 10 minutes, i stood there waiting. Finally I ordered cheese raviolis and a slice of cheese pizza, paid her, then she got on the phone again. So I helped myself to a seat. She brought me a pizza that was clearly black on top. I immediately asked for a different slice and her reply "oh is that too burned?" I'm thinking too burned? why am I getting burnt food anyways? She brings me another slice, not fresh and still partially burnt. As pictured She brings out my pasta that looked good but had mushrooms all over it. It was probably my fault I didn't realize it wasn't just normal cheese and sauce ravioli but with my mushroom allergy I had to request another dish. The woman goes to the kitchen and speaks to a blonde woman who is now starring at me making a disgusted face and proceeds to angrily converse with each other. This was far too uncomfortable. I went up to the register, the woman came out and I asked for a refund. I told her I didn't appreciate her talking about me and upsetting the cook and I was very uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. With no apology or any reply, She just rolled her eyes and moaned, grabbed my cash that was still there and put it in my hand. The lack of customer service was unbelievable! So, I've heard stories about how bad the pizza is on the West Coast. However, I never bought too much into that. Until today. After having this pizza I realized that all of the negative hype about west coast pizza just might be true. This pizza might as well have been from Pizza Hut or domino's. The crust was incredibly spongey, the sauce was devoid of flavor, and the cheese, simply wasn't good. If you're a fan of crispy crust, flavorful sauce, basically an Artisanal pizza, then you'll be disappointed with this place. I was in Seattle staying at Homewood Suites next door so it was a 30 second walk to check this place out. For the ease of access, it is definitely worth it. Simple and tasty menu, and large portions. The service was very friendly when I went in. I'm not sure it is worth a long drive or any serious hassle to get to. But if you are roaming downtown and want something warm, familiar, and comforting to eat this place is a nice spot to try! read more

I have been ordering from Romios, mostly delivery, online for about the last 17 years. Their food is great, prices are reasonable and they deliver for only a $1 charge. I have to say I'm really disappointed in the quality of my latest order. I don't know when but at some point they changed their salad dressings. Their ranch used to be either homemade or just not the standard crap out of a bottle. Now it's the yucky crap out of the bottle. Tastes like hidden valley ranch, which I personally can't stand. I ordered one of my fav salads, the dinner salad, with extra ranch, to the unpleasant surprise that the ranch is terrible. They get 3 stars cuz of the longevity of my business but I'm never getting ranch again. They had a great tasty ranch dressing! What happened?! Yuck. Also my coworkers order was wrong. Paid extra to add to her salad and the items were missing. Not cool. Oh and the order was 20 mins late. When I called at 40 kind (the time the website said for delivery) I was told the driver hadn't even left with the Oder yet. I'm guessing same person as in the other reviews. Delivery orders that require a driver, beware. Ordered via their website as I have for years from the Belltown and Downtown locations. Order for two pasta dishes that were no show at the hour mark. Called for status and it took 3 questions to establish they got the order and maybe made it, and maybe someone left 10 mins prior to the call. Ultimately took 85 minutes to arrive, and it arrived cold. Food quality was also bad, really runny sauce and undercooked peas. Disappointed but from other recent reviews, it feels like their short move really lowered quality and delivery. read more
