Service is terrible. In my last few visits, there has been only one server who gets very flustered if there are more than 3 tables dining in. Expect to wait awhile to get any attention. The rolls are not the best but are a good amount for the price.

Finally got to knock one of the Ronnie's off my list. It's located in my neighborhood, so it's really a shame I haven't visited prior to today. They're in their own building, once you pass the coffee hut. Their interior is clean and eclectic. They have a mix of table and booth seating. I loved all the personal photos and ceiling decor. Their menu is pretty expansive. A ton of rolls to choose from. My dining partner and I focused in on the fully cooked ones (hello sensory sensitivities). My dining partner got a crunch roll I got a Ronnie roll (crunch roll but spicy plus top goodies). They did not disappoint. Complimentary soup and salad was perfect. Our server was on it the entire time. I can't wait to return.

Excellent service, excellent food and great prices! My favorite is box lunch 2! Recommend to all my friens!

I'm not mad at it. I like sushi I like sushi sushi. Ronnie sushi Jewel Lake area. Not too shabby. Very friendly and attentive service. Miso soup my son loved it. I found it to be just ok. The house salad was meh. I've had way better ginger dressing and it was just lettuce. I like when it has carrots, cucumber too, you get the idea. Overall (and this is mainly because I'm mad picky about my sushi) I rate it 3 out of 5.

Recently stopped by and placed a to-go order. Staff was alright. Got a dragon roll and a rainbow roll, which weren't bad. It's difficult to tell from the picture, but the rolls had a lot of rice imo. Probably wouldn't go here as my first choice.

What a disappointment. I was recommended and so looking forward to this place but will not return. I ordered the Chicken Kastu. Truly I've had microwaved Tv dinners with better taste than the junk I was served. Gross sickly sticky sweet sauce with peas and carrots microwaved until Every grain of recognizable nutrient was zapped by our server. The chicken was a thin sliced random breast(an oversized lab experiment chicken breast machine sliced into 'normal looking' chicken breast with TOUGH muscle fiber's. It truly was disgusting. The woman who served me knew she was serving junk but didn't care enough about it to want to try. Utter contempt is all she gave off.

Great food and service. I like the space because the booths provide a quiet place to eat. The Sushi Bar is great too if you want some interaction. Haven't ever had a bad experience here.

Pretty darn good! Got my favorite roll... the sashimi roll of course. The roll tasted very fresh and it was very nicely presented. My friend's Hey Ya roll was not quite as delicate but it was quite tasty. She and I still enjoyed every last bite. Service was friendly and attentive when we got their attention. Reasonably priced and nice atmosphere.

We hadn't been in a while, so we were invited by our daughter and her new husband out for dinner…read moreand a movie. I really liked the way they had the inside decor, it was really set up nicely. I was looking at the beverage menu saw, Sapporo, okay great beer for a Sushi experience. I guess after looking over the Sushi offerings, it was hard to find a clean roll. Clean roll, to me means, no imitation crab in their roll. The one clean roll was the Spider Roll which we got 2 of. Of the 5 rolls we got the Spider was the favorite to me, I got the Hot Lava Roll not my favorite, but my wife ordered the Crazy Devil Roll it was good, and another clean roll was what my daughter got the 911 Roll. We all shared amongst the 3 of us. Something else missing was, miso soup or a ginger salad staples at Japanese Sushi places. Daughter's husband got Teriyaki Chicken, not a sushi guy Lol! I did get him to eat 1/2 a Spider Roll piece. Overall a 3.5 for Sushi, but ambiance 4.5. What I'd like more is clean sushi offerings, Naruto style, and a must have Unagi (Eel), Sweet Shrimp w/deep fried heads, Toro (Yellow Fin Tuna), and maybe some Alaskan Crab! Imitation crab is for newbie/beginners. Also too many offerings of cooked Tempura Shrimp added to many raw rolls. Elevate your Sushi Game!

I had the dragon roll. It's basically a California roll with eel on top. I enjoyed the crunch of the cucumber and the glaze was perfect and not too sweet. The sesame chicken was not on the menu but we were still able to order it. Even though it was coated in a honey sauce, the breaded chicken was still crunchy. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was very juicy and tender. The server was very nice and efficient.

This was our third time ordering the shabu-shabu, and it continues to deliver. On a cold day, this…read moreis exactly the kind of meal that makes sense--warming, steady, and satisfying without trying too hard. The space has a modern Japanese minimalist aesthetic--clean lines, warm lighting, and a refined calm that feels both welcoming and quietly upscale. It's thoughtfully designed without being cold, striking a balance between contemporary elegance and comfort. Shabu-shabu here is on the pricier side, but the portioning justifies it. The small shabu-shabu easily feeds three to four people, especially when shared properly, and nothing about it felt skimpy or rushed. Three visits in, it continues to deliver!

We used to come here when this place was Peter's Sushi Spot, the inside has not changed hugely…read moresince then, except maybe for the hot plates on the tables, should you wish to have shabu shabu. The hot plates are spotlessly clean, I did notice, and there were instructions on the wall on how to cook shabu shabu. We used to come for the Tempura Udon which was spectacular. We were seated very quickly, and water was brought out. I decided to go with my benchmark dish, which always gives me some idea of whether I will return or not, and ordered chicken fried rice, husband got the tempura udon, so he could compare with the previous Udon we used to get here. I noticed that their soft drinks are only $2 which is an excellent price in my opinion. I got a Canada Dry as I love ginger ale. His Udon came out quite quickly, and we could instantly tell that the broth did not have the same depth of flavour, as when we used to come here, (it was quite smoky and very umami) and this one has a distinctly seaweed tang. Thats not to say that it's bad, it's just different. The noodles are also not quite so dense, chewy or toothsome. Additionally the tempura was somewhat of a letdown. The shrimps were very slimline compared to the display on the tv. There was an onion ring, that was also quite thin. Just not a good representation of tempura. Also, comparing with the Udon that used to be here, you also got a cup of miso soup, and a small salad with a carrot orange dressing. Those are gone. As for my chicken fried rice, well the presentation was excellent, it came on a beautiful plate, and looked very appetizing. The first couple of bites were really nice, plenty of carrots, broccoli, chicken, however I soon started encountering tender crisp onions. Which I cannot eat. They give me violent stomach pains. I can only eat onions that have been cooked down to almost mush. Anything raw or that has any element of crunch to it is a no-go, as it will make me ill. I found it somewhat unusual, as I get fried rice all over town and have never encountered chunky onions before. I'm sure I could have asked them to leave them out had I known they were going to be in there. It tasted good, for sure, but having to continually move the onions aside (and there was a lot of onions) was offputting. Normally when i get fried rice, I eat some, and take the rest in a to go box. I did not take the rest home this time which is very telling. Anyway, service was excellent, and they were very attentive - for instance our server saw that my husband was giving me a spoonful of his udon, and without being asked he came over with an extra spoon, small bowl, and a ladle, which I thought was very thoughtful. I cannot fault the staff.
