Disappointing experience -- no consultation and stencil-only brows…read more I booked a brow wax with Sarah and was very disappointed. There was no consultation at all. She immediately started marking my face, and when I stopped her to ask what we were doing with my brows, she told me they don't do consultations and instead use a stencil and wax everything outside of it. I trusted the process, but as she started waxing, she mentioned she had just started doing brows and that this is how she was taught. My brows were very full before and only needed a cleanup. When she finished, they were much thinner and uneven, and I was shocked. She said, "Next time we can use a thicker stencil," but I was never asked what I wanted beforehand or shown what my brows would look like before waxing. A simple consultation would have prevented this. Brows are not one-size-fits-all, and waxing without understanding the client's goals is careless. If you care about your brows, I recommend going to an artist who takes the time to ask what you want instead of relying on stencils.

The room was very clean and she played some great music. I got my underarms, nape of neck and sideburns sugared. Everything was pretty easy to get through but this was the first time getting the nape of neck done. It hurt a little more than I anticipated, but reasonably so as it's course hair in a delicate area. Kat did a great job at getting all 3 services done quickly. She laughed with me through the pain of the nape sugaring which is truly what made it easier to handle. By the time we were done, she had put so much attention to detail and left my areas so smooth. I felt brand new when I looked at the nape, I had so much hair and now seeing it bare made me feel 100x more feminine. Thank you so much for your help!
