I was hoping the "black sesame" would be more flavorful aside from sugar, but it seems like it's more of a straight sweetener than anything. It seems like they have more seating upstairs, and surprisingly it was closed on a busy Sunday afternoon. This little coffee shop is so good. It's my favorite local Saturday morning treat. Admittedly, the only drink I've had here is the orange creamsicle latte-- it's so good, I can't bring myself to order a different drink. I mean, it is SO GOOD. Sweet but not too sweet, rich, and creamy. Someday I will try one of their other drinks and I'm sure I'll love those offerings too. Roosevelt has an inventive menu of classic espresso and matcha drinks that change with the seasons. Service is always friendly and the contemporary decor is inviting. Stopped by again today on my lunch break from work (my 3rd time since they opened). Pros: - The place was packed on a work weekday. - It's still convenient right off the 5. - The Interior finally has some more furniture which makes the space feel more comfortable. - Customer service was friendly. Cons: - The bacon and tomato croissant I purchased has raw bacon in it. - I didn't ask them to heat it but I assumed the bacon inside was cooked prior, that didn't seem like the case, they should tell people they have to be heated on the bacon is raw. - The peppermint mocha drink I had was 80% foam and 20% coffee. Literally two sips and the drink was done for nearly $8 the value wasn't there. - The barista seemed to have forgotten my name and almost gave my drink to a lady waiting who ordered after me. They apologized for the wait (was about 10 minutes) but given the cons I think they can do better. Not sure I'd stop by again at this point. I wish them the best of luck and continued success however maybe it's just not the coffee shop for me, which is fine as coffee is person-specific. read more

There is a parking lot so parking is never an issue. I've been here a couple of times so I've had a variety of drinks and pastries here. I really like the pastries! My go-to would have to be the almond croissant. In terms of drinks, I've had the iced mocha latte, iced vanilla latte and the black sesame latte. The drinks are on the pricier side. As someone who really enjoys strong coffee, I feel like their lattes don't have a very strong coffee taste and is more on the sweeter side. Overall, love the ambience and service. Customer service was great. However for the drinks and food, I don't see myself coming back unless I was in a bind. I would rate this more of a 3.5 stars. I ordered a hot vanilla latte with oat milk, and felt the drink was okay. I understand coffee is subjective so for me, I don't see myself coming back because a vanilla latte really has to be special enough for me to return. The place sells a decent turkey and cheese croissant, but it won't hit the spot if you're craving a ham and cheese one. I learned that there is only turkey and the cheese croissant due the shop trying to make it inclusive for those who can't eat ham. This location is very clean and filled with good natural lighting. had no idea this place existed, but it's a very hip cool place in the middle of an office park next to an Albertsons. Peak Irvine. Service is nice and the place gets PACKED early. We were there at 8 but by the time we left around 9:30 there was barely room. Seating is plentiful, space is clean, music is good - the overall vibe makes it such a comfortable place to settle in and get work done. The coffee, hojicha, and matcha are consistently well made + never disappointing. Def try the black sesame latte or cream top! The employees + owner are incredibly friendly, helpful, and hardworking. I came here to study with me and my partner, and we were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of tables and it was very clean and open with good lighting. There were outlets laid around the room and boots and tables and chairs and even benches to sit on. I ordered a banana Matcha And was super surprised. I asked for a recommendation from the cashier and she was so nice and recommended the drink. I was very satisfied. Their ambiance is very nice as it's bright and the decoration is minimalist trendy. They have all the good caffeine infused drinks that you will need to get you thru your day. I got an iced green tea just for a refresher and at the same time the Orange Creamsicle Latte looked really good so I had to try it out. first time! I came to this cafe with my friends for a co-working day. I got there at 10am on a Friday and got a booth for me and my friends to sit at. The place looked like it was surrounded by offices but it was easy to find parking. The cafe is small, but I didn't mind that since there was a lot of natural lighting and they played good music. I got an iced matcha latte. I usually like my drinks sweetened, so the owner directed me to the station on the side where I was able add the simple syrup myself. The latte from Roosevelt Coffee is good. I liked the plain one over the Vanilla because the Vanilla was a tad too sweet. I love the open feel of this coffee shop - it's modern and they have different styles of seating. I didn't try any of their pastries or food, but they do look good. I wish that they offered freshly roasted coffee beans. I know that coffee shops are pricey, but I felt that a regular latte at $5.50 is a bit steep and the Vanilla Latte at $6.50 was overpriced. Granted, I believe that their Vanilla syrup is made in house, but I still don't think it's worth $6.50. This is a great study spot for anyone in the Irvine area. The drinks and service are good and the interior has a nice vibe to it. There is plenty of parking outside and seating inside, although it does get fairly busy and there aren't a ton of outlets. For the drinks themselves, I liked the Peach spritzer a lot - very strongly peach flavored with a biting fizz that woke me up. When you order you get the option of for-here (drink would be served in a mug or glass cup) or to-go (drink served in paper cup for hot and plastic cups for cold). They have a place to put your finished cups in and right next to it is a water tap. Often times staff might circle around and collect your cups and plates from you. There is various merchandise, snacks, and bottled drinks to purchase when visiting. Oftentimes they will have pop-up events in their upstairs space which separates them from other cafes. This is the new aesthetic hot spot in Irvine!! I visited for a morning stroll and fell in love. The indoor area is lit with natural lighting with top to bottom glass walls. The parking is free outside in the parking lot. There's lots of parking in the morning :) When you first enter they greet you immediately-- Caleb was very kind and welcoming as well as getting my order in asap. Hip vibes from all the staff here including baristas and cashiers. The coffee here tastes authentic and deep. No Starbucks tasting kind. Legit coffee makes my day!!
