Medium with blue magic, overnight oats, honey granola, banana, strawberries, blueberries, and peanut butter and honey please and thank you

Super patient workers took extra care with my orders and helped me get the right match for me and my kids. Highly recommend to go in and say hi to them, they are super sweet. Açaí Bowls are bomb as well. Ordered medium acai base with blue magic , honey almond granola, banana, blueberries, strawberries, peanut butter and honey.

Heavenly. Absolutely everything I needed and more! This is my new favorite spot for açaí bowls because it's truly a hidden gem. So many topping options and base choices to create a multi-layered bowl of deliciousness. My favorite base was the matcha and I loved the fresh fruits with agave. Fast and friendly service in a casual, welcoming environment. Excited for my next visit!!

Yummy açaí bowl spot! They offer unlimited toppings like fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, and honey, along with different bases such as açaí and chia pudding. I ordered a medium bowl with 4 different bases and multiple toppings, it was the perfect size to share. They have seating inside so we enjoyed our bowl at the shop!

    Acai Bowl - small

I got the small açaí bowl with chia seed pudding, hemp heart granola, blueberries, bananas, goji berries, almonds, cocoa nibs, almond butter, and honey drizzle. The açaí is delicious, creamy, and not too sweet. Balanced well with the nut butter and burst of blueberries. The chia seed pudding was a perfect pair with the açaí. It was refreshing and a perfect summer treat. The small alone was very satisfying. Would recommend as it is a 10/10 for me. The unlimited toppings means limitless creation. Would be returning.

So delicious and the service was great! amazing vibes from the place. They had me sold by the unlimited toppings! So yummy. My bf and I shared the large.

My favorite smoothie/bowl place. Everything is fresh and it's always build your own smoothie for only $9.95. You honestly can't beat that, and you can included protein powder and no extra charge. If they had rewards, that would be amazing but it's probably not needed lol

Came for breakfast during our trip to Pasadena. The açaí bowls were okay. The toppings were good but the açaí could've been better. It wasn't very sweet and kind of bland. My daughter ordered half açaí and half overnight oats but they forgot to put the açaí. I went back in and they gave us a small scoop of açaí in a separate bowl. I tried a bit of her overnight oats which she didn't finish and I didn't care for it.

Solid place for acai bowls and everything was super fresh. Love the option of building your own bowl and how you can designate the date/time of when you want to pick up your order.

My bowl made by the GODS themselves haha

I really enjoyed my bowl here it tasted authentic and was perfect for this hot sunny day they do not skimp out here and the customer service was on peak.I definitely will be telling my security buddies about this place and will come here often it was my first bowl here and definitely won't b my last.Try it out I'm very picky when it comes to my açaí this place had everything I need.Great Job Roots and Rye definitely a hidden gem.

Nice quality. All four of us enjoyed our bowls/smoothie Note the small is very generous. Limited seating.

    BYO acai bowl.
    Albert A.

Okay acai bowl with below average customer service. I would say the value is below what you pay for, not worth $13. The taste is good it's an acai bowl but not as delicious as I've had at other places. over all service and product are 3 stars. Staff is not friendly. They're not rude but they don't go beyond the basic actions of taking your order and putting g toppings on a bowl.

Huge fan of this place. Whenever I come into town before or after spa, this place is perfect for a light pick me up. Their avocado toast is heavenly and perfectly seasoned with salt, pepper, everything, and chili pepper flakes. The acai bowl base we got included the acai, coconut, and blue majik. The bases were not too sweet and the coconut was very creamy and flavorful. Everything is fresh and the service is always friendly.

Got myself a refreshing smoothie with boosts of nutritional flavors. It was what I was looking for after a run in a hot day.

Ask the Community - Roots & Rye

What taste would you compare the blue majik too? Is it on the fruity side or bitter?

Definitely fruity. They described it as coconut, pineapple, maybe mango? Kinda like a pina colada. Not as strong. Mild flavors. YUMMY!

Anyone know what brand gluten free bread they use?

Approx how much sugar is in a bowl? Natural or added?

My estimate for a 24 oz bowl is between 50-90 grams of sugar. More if you add agave or honee.

As an acai bowl snob, this place definitely gets my 2 thumbs up…read more I love finding new modern day acai bowl places. By modern day, I mean places where they have funky flavors for bases, interesting and unlimited toppings. Not the simple brazilian style where acai/pitaya are the only base options, and the only toppings are the holy trinity (strawberry, blueberry, bananas). It was a little confusing at first, because you order at the register on the right side, then make your way left to customize your bowl..? I was a little confused at first. I thought it was so cool that they had an ube flavored base, and it was so creamy and delicious. The toppings available were akin to what you'd find at somewhere like Roots and Rye or Blue Bowl. Everything tasted so refreshing. Lots of outdoor tables available, and a few indoor ones. Staff is really friendly, and if I'm ever in the Eagle Rock area I'm definitely stopping by here again!

They've since opened another location in Redondo Beach. This spot is quite popular. I always see people outside when I drive by. The staff here are friendly. Inside is cozy with limited seating, but there is also a patio area out front. They offer Açaí & Pitaya Bowls, Smoothies, Juices, pre-packaged snacks and beverages to go. I ordered a mini acai bowl, which comes with 3 toppings. ($6.51) Larger bowls come with 7 toppings and 1 nut butter. Way too much for me. The tropical acai sounded good, so I got that with fresh blueberries, chocolate granola, & chocolate pebbles. It was so yummy and also the perfect amount. *Rewards program *Metered street parking or residential.

I tried their vegan sandwich and it was so delicious and the bread was springy and fresh. I will say if you save the sandwich it probably would get soggy because of so many fresh moist ingredients in it. I also tried the lavender matcha latte, iced. They have oat or almond milk and I saw in their fridge its barista milk edition. Also I was told a baseline their match is "ceremonial grade" from Uji. I will say the matcha latte was one of my favorites. Overall really great. My order did seem to take awhile and while they checked in with me when they noticed me still waiting...I could see some impatient faces of other guests.
