My son and I went here after a doctors visit to Children's north hospital. We were very hungry saw the good reviews and decided to come here. We were seated gave us water and menus. Then nothing, other people were being served but no one even came over or looked at us. So 15 mins later we walked over to 5 guys. Please just do better not sure why you could not even take a drink order or let us order chips and salsa. We were there Friday at 215 pm. Sad read more

We're so glad to have discovered this gem in North Longmont a few weeks ago. The food and service has been consistently excellent during both visits. My husband thinks their Relleno Oaxaca is probably the best chili relleno he's ever enjoyed in decades--and he's a self-proclaimed Chili Relleno snob. He devoured half of his Santo Burrito today (a very hearty burrito) and will finish the rest for dinner tonight. We both loved my Camarones En Chipotle entree during our first visit and today's Shrimp Fajita entree was also outstanding. It's wonderful to have discovered a semi-local restaurant where we can enjoy delicious, authentic Mexican food that exudes charm and creativity in its atmosphere! read more

My husband and I stopped off here to grab lunch after a visit to the apple orchard nearby. As someone who grew up in Arizona near the Mexican border, I have to say this food is absolutely fantastic and authentic! The chips and salsa are handmade in addition to the tortillas and beans. We came in for a late lunch. We were immediately seated and greeted by our wait staff. She took our drink order ; confirmed it and had it back within minutes. The menu is small enough to ensure freshness but robust enough to get what you want. Overall the food was outstanding and so was the service. Our new go to for Mexican food. read more

First time here and the food was AMAZING! Portions were great for the price, and the food tasted so fresh! I had the aguachiles rojos and they were so spicy and fresh-tasting, so delicious! Cute decor and very clean. Our waiter, William, was great. He was attentive and very polite. The food was delicious. My friend and I both selected the chile relleno plate. It came with black beans, but I switched mine to refried. The chile relleno, beans and rice were wonderful. Very nice presentation too! I look forward to going back! Just a side note: I didn't have any problem paying for chips and salsa. After all, the restaurant has to pay for them. And, I have to say the two salsas were really good! read more

We practically live at Rosa Cantina since we discovered it! My mouth waters just thinking about it. The menu is extensive, but not overly so. They offer some very creative and delicious taco's (the Governador and the Tijuana are my favorites.) We love to try a different specialty dish each time we go, and they've all been amazing. The Queso Fundido with chorizo is a must. It comes with fresh tortillas, pickled onions and an amazing spicy salsa that is like a garlicky mole with a hint of peanut. We are addicted to that salsa and put it on everything!!! The spicy Ceviche's called "Aguachiles" are so fresh and tasty they are a must have. Great cocktails in a lovely environment. Not what you expect in a strip mall location. Karla is an amazing bartender and server. She's extremely nice and attentive. Actually, all of the employees are motivated to make sure you have everything you need, and that you're happy with your experience. We're so excited that you're here in Longmont! This place is phenomenal! The staff is a bit green but it's a new business so it will take time for them to get more comfortable. We loved all the food that we ordered and the margaritas were yummy too. I will say I tried the Serrano margarita and it tasted no different than the classic so hoping I can try a spicier marg next time. Finally, a good Mexican food restaurant in Longmont. We went on Cinco De Mayo .The place was packed! 45 min wait already at 530, and I can see why. The food,drinks and wait staff were outstanding! We ended up getting a spot at the bar. It is a little pricey. We will be back. read more

I have to say this was some of the worst mexican food I've ever had. The chips came out...my god they were greasy and tasted like bacon ! I've never had a chip this greasy and taste like this. My wife and I ordered ceviche...disgusting. The shrimp tasted like it was soaked in brine, too salty to eat. The fish in the ceviche was fine, all 4 pieces. The dish was mostly onions. My one son ordered something that he like a lot. My other son ordered chicken tacos. So salty, they were inedible. I went to the bar and got a shot of Don Julio anejo. It was $15 dollars ! she filled the little shot glass a smidge over half way. I talked to the manager, and she took off the ceviche and my son's tacos. She was very nice, and apologetic about it. The waitress was a very nice and sweet young lady as well. The place is a fun place for young people. Very bright colored , and loud Mexican music. But, I think the food is over priced and really bad. read more
