I'm updating my review because I really do like the food here. They have some very tasty chicken tacos. Juicy chicken and a fried tortilla shell. I also quite like their rice and beans which are both flavorful and not dry. Free chips and salsa is always a plus. The wait staff is always very friendly and attentive. Not a large place so if it's busy or you have a large group, expect to wait. Their food plates are warmed up so when they bring out your food they caution you to not touch the plate since it's quite hot. I like that simple touch because it keeps your food hot. read more

Here's a tip...find another place to eat. The take out order was originally promised at 6:20, then pushed to 6:40, then pushed to 7:40. I went to Rosalinda's for the first time yesterday with my girlfriends for some drinks and good food. It was delicious! The pineapple margarita so refreshing real pineapple juice! Chips and salsa were good too! I order the camarones a la diabla they tasted a little different than what I'm used to but they were still really good perfect amount of spice! UPDATE ON THE SERVICE: I came in today with my 8 year old sister, its a Saturday and we had a long day of arts and crafts so we came in cozy and a little messy from painting. 6 of the 8 indoor tables were taken, so I knew they were busy and didn't mind the wait to be seated. The 3 servers that were working saw me, attended to their tables first, then let me know that I could pick any of the 2 tables available. A male server came to our table shortly after and stated that the table might not be clean so he came and wiped it down for us. When he was done he told us he'd be back with some menus. I told him that we knew what we wanted to which he replied "I'll let your server know you're ready". Our server came over with chips and salsa and took our order but did not ask what portion size we'd like and had to come back to ask. She left so quickly that we were not able to let her know that we wanted water while we waited. So we sat there eating our chips... getting more and more thirsty. While waiting for our server to return, another group walked in and were seated and served right away. They had water before we did and we had been there a good 5 mins. After FINALLY getting up to ASK for water, I was able to quench my thirst. A few moments had passed and the server who assisted me in the last review came over to say hello and also thanked me for the review. I let her know that I was a little upset due to the lack of service I was receiving. She quickly apologized and made me feel like she was keeping an eye on us to see if we needed anything the rest of the night. Honestly if it wasn't for Monica, I probably would not come back. I feel like I was being discriminated because of my age, race, and the fact that I was dressed down. My server should definitely take some tips from Monica. Pretty basic food. Nothing special, I got the tamale plate. Beef tamales were good but idk about award winning. Beans were good, rice lacked some flavor for me. It's not authentic Mexican food so it was ok. Queso fundido was pretty disappointing, block of cheese melted with some chorizo on top. Not really a dip and kind of hard to eat, you almost had to cut pieces of it and put it on top of a chip. It's not the worst though but I doubt I'd willingly go back. This place is a little hidden but if you find it it is definitely a place to try. The chips they give you are delicious and the food is great. Anything with chicken will do because the chicken is cooked to perfection . Delicious tortillas and great staff. I love when I don't have to ask for a refill. The drinks are refilled before you are in need of one and if you are just kicking back chatting after the meal you can take your time because there is no rush. Disappointed, All Around. I'm a big Chile Verde fan and was looking forward to a plate while visiting family in Fresno. On the plate was meat, rice and beans. Plop, plop, plop... all average. The Chile Verde flavor was good and a lot of it... but the meat was gritty. Most disappointing was the guacamole. Where you'd anticipate the primary ingredient to be avocado, Rosa Linda's was onion. It was the worst Guac I'd ever had... and at about $4 for the two tablespoons the insult was doubled. Almost as disappointing were the chips served with my salsa and guacamole. Basically, corn tortillas cut and deep fried. I'm only guessing but they tasted like stale tortillas that were deep fired instead of thrown away. These were just cold flavorless crunchy cardboard. Let me start by saying we have been customers of Rosa Lindas back when they only had the Selma location. When they opened this location we were so excited and have dinner here 3-4 times a month. During the closure due to COVID 19 we ordered from the Clovis location as we were going through withdrawals. When the Bullard location opened again, we were so excited. However, that was short lived. After speaking with the owner twice about cold plates and barely warm food we are done. The excuse the first time was that if you only have rice and no beans then they don't keep your plate warmed, however, I had all beans and no rice and my plate was not warm. For those of you who haven't been here, all hot dishes are served on a hot plate that they warn you not to touch. Despite speaking with the owner about issues with the food, we decided to give them multiple chances after being loyal customers for decades. We have now decided to find a new Mexican restaurant. Service is not that great anymore coupled with cold or barely warm food is not worth it. We have been there 4 times after the initial issue. Also had an issue with a take out order where the person did not take down the order correctly and my father payed for 3 taco salads when we only ordered 2. Along the way there was no offer to refund or replace a meal. That simply gesture would demonstrate they care about the customers and we probably would have given them more chances. I love this place! It's really close to where I live, so that's a major plus. The food is good, definably I think more of an american twist on traditional mexican food. *** LOTS of CHEESE *** SO gringo friendly haha... Very friendly and nice staff! :) Tips: Make sure to ask for the "hot" salsas when they bring your chips, they're tasty!! My faves: The Chili rellno, Chicken toast-dada, and their Sangria! My boyfriend got the steak fajita burrito, and it was pretty awesome. The only weird thing we've gotten so far and why I couldn't give five stars is because of their version of the chimichanga... it was like an over cheesed meaty quesadilla that had been fried. The waitress was decently polite and our time spent there was short, as it should be considering we were the only two people in the place. Based on the food alone, I would go back here whenever i'm craving mexican food. My frozen margarita was also well worth a star for this review. The food is better than the three stars I am giving it. It is fresh and exquisitely prepared. On food alone it is one of the best restaurants in town. The problem with this restaurant is that it is bewilderingly expensive. The bill adds up QUICKLY, even when you haven't gotten your fill. Maybe it's the location. Maybe fresh food costs more. Wow wow wow the flavors are sooooo good the chili verde was the best the chips were fresh, salsa fresh, chili rellano fresh price cheap! This has become my favorite Mexican restaurant. We came here on the recommendations of a few friends and were hesitant since we had never heard of it. This is our second day in a row and here are the highlights: lunch special tostada with chicken is divine. The chicken is perfectly flavored and cooked. Their enchiladas are also very well done. Their sauce tastes homemade instead of from a can like many of the other local Mexican restaurants. The guacamole is fresh and not cut with cream, and their salsa is incredibly flavorful. Been eating here for years and never had a problem other than okay customer service with family and friends. 2nd time I've been here in the past month and they don't serve guacamole anymore with your chips even if you want to buy it. Due to a "shortage". What is mexican food without guacamole? Maybe a smart business owner would increase the price of the guacamole dip rather than lose a customer or customers. Poor management decision. Last time I was at the grocery store there was an abundance of avacados. I typically do not give bad reviews however I have to say something about this place. I called to place an order for pick up and had a bad experience. First of all it was really hard to understand the lady who answered the phone. Second I asked for a flour taco instead of a corn tortilla and it was like pulling teeth to get the lady to say okay then she says a $2.00 extra charge total of $4.00 extra. The meal was already $10.95 "so you are telling me it's going to be $14.95 for a two item combo? That's crazy talk! Anyhow I then said never mind I will just have corn and then she hung up on me. I would like to think I am a very nice person and never rude to people and for her to hang up that was not so nice, I thought about calling back giving her the benefit of doubt but I decided to call Casa Corona instead. read more

I hate giving a restaurant that has no other reviews just one star, but our experience there was lacking and the food was just plain bad. Just to be clear, I've seen rave reviews for this restaurant elsewhere, and had heard from word of mouth how great it was, so I guess it's a crap shoot whether your food is tremendous or completely inedible, as ours was. The service was just OK. The rice was oily and so undercooked that it was crunchy. The beans tasted like cheap olive oil (I have no idea how that was achieved). And the shredded beef taco was completely unseasoned and had no flavor whatsoever. I don't know if the cook was having an off day, or that is how they always make their food, but I certainly won't be returning to find out. Also, for such a nice restaurant in an uppity part of town, the high chair they gave me to seat my son in was filthy and the strap was broken. So, there's that. read more

WoW! There is delicious Mexican food waiting for you inside! I ordered one of the specials: The Selma special. I almost ordered something else, until the waiter said it was his favorite. I'm glad I did! The waiter (Luis) was very friendly and provided excellent service. The dish includes two crispy tacos packed with carne asada, lettuce, cheese and guacamole. However the waiter recommended that I upgraded my tacos from a crispy shell to a homemade tortilla for $2 extra ($1 each taco). The flavors were ridiculously delicious. In addition, the chips were warm and crispy and the salsa seemed homemade, perfectly spicy. Again, the afternoon service was great and that's essential in my book. Um, it's ok. They don't have homemade flour tortillas, only corn. The guacamole is 2% avocado and 98% other. So. Meh.

Very disappointed with the service I received today. My daughter and I sat outside on the patio for lunch. We received our beans cold, and the cheese wasn't even melted. Wouldn't really have been a problem if the waiter, Luis, actually came back to see how we were doing. No drink refills. Nothing. I had to walk inside and ask for a box. This isn't the first time the customer service has been bad at this place. It's one thing if they were busy, but Luis just stood behind the counter the entire time we were eating.
