    Enchiladas! Yum!!!!

I used to have this place on my list of lunch spots and it's okay but today I got upset and walked out. And they've lost my business completely. I earned the "Dutchess of Rosabellas" today when I checked in. Well... anyone can take that, I'll never come back. Once a business neglects a customer, completely ignores them, doesn't acknowledge them, that's it. Terrible customer service today. It's my lunch break, so I drove across town to come here. I walked in and stood at the door by the lecture with the drink menus on it, to wait to be seated. Inside was one person sitting eating his food. At the bakery counter were two customers that came in together to get pastries. And me, standing at the door. Waiting. I thought the lady saw me but she didn't acknowledge me, so I walked up and glanced at some pastries and then sat down at the little table in front of the register. Near the pastry items and waited. She rang up the couple and it took quite a while while they socialized with her. I was getting impatient. Finally they were paying and getting stuff to go. At this time I didn't even have a menu yet, hadn't been acknowledged either. Not a "be with you shortly" or anything. Then another man walked in, quite tall, walked up to the bakery glass. The employee was still bagging up the previous couples order, and then putting the extra bags away. I looked at her hoping to make eye contact so I could see if she would bring me a menu. Instead she ignored me yet again and asked the guy who just walked in what he'd like. With that, I got up, and said "Thank you. I'm leaving now." And walked out. This is the bakery where I come for certain food items at lunch and cakes for birthdays and huge tamale orders at Christmas. But it only takes one cruel customer service to ruin it all. Today was cruel. Ignoring me completely. That was weird to me since normally I'm always greeted. The woman today (Monday, April 23, 2024 at 1:00 PM) failed to do the right thing... which was offer me a menu first before getting the tall man's order. Completely left me without getting lunch as I had to get back to work, and lost me as a customer forever. It only takes one bad employee to ruin a business. Good luck to the owner, because they will need it.

I had no idea Ventura had this gem. The only reason I dropped in was because we were on the 101 NB and needed some pastries and a hit beverage since it was raining and we needed snacks four our road trip. I got a hot cocoa and a mix of goodies. All of which got devoured before we even hit Santa Barbara. The service was fantastic. The lady out front who helped us was so damn nice. She took the time to make sure everything fit in the container. The cinnamon crisp was fuego.

Very much recommend. The place is clean, the workers are nice and consistent. The food was phenomenal, 10/10. Bakery goods are so delicious too

Rosabellas was a delicious breakfast and great experience. When we went it was nice and quiet. The service was fast and friendly. The food was super tasty and presented beautifully. The hollandaise was good and flavorful. The chillaquilles had great flavor. We will be back for sure.

    All three tamale flavors

Tamales were so darn good and the habanero salsa was hot and wonderful like it should be! The michelada was also great. Can't wait to return! I got 3 tamales to go after I ate my first 3 that's how good they were. Great menu for everyone!

Do not sleep on this place! We stumbled upon Rosabella's when driving around looking for a breakfast or lunch place when visiting Ventura. Our server Rosa was an absolute rockstar, she was working all of the tables in the restaurant solo. The food was incredible and the service was great! We will def be back when we come back to town!

The food quality was commendable, yet the service was inadequate. Requesting napkins was necessary, server attentiveness was absent, and payment processing was sluggish. Moreover, WiFi connectivity was not available.

Wonderful place to stop by and get breakfast or brunch! My fiancé and I stopped by to try this place out since we aren't from Ventura and wanted to try a local spot. I ordered the Chicken Chilaquiles with Red salsa and it was absolutely delicious! Just perfectly balanced and exactly how chilaquiles should taste! My fiancé got the breakfast combo that comes with two delicious pancakes, eggs, and bacon for $15! Our server was very kind and attentive! The whole team seemed very on top of the orders and very hard working. Great staff and the kitchen staff was great too because our food came out in less than 15 mins! The restaurant itself is very homey! It's not a super trendy brunch spot like the ones we saw in DT Ventura, but we like it more like this! Very small town diner vibes and we would take this over a hipster spot with 2 tables and mean servers! Overall 10/10 for food, service, and ambiance. We will definitely be back!

Came here for the first time per my sister's recommendation. She said she found out about this place from Tiktok. We came here about half an hour before closing, which I always feel bad for doing, but staff welcomed us in. Service was great, our server was very present and checked in with us a lot. She made sure to take note of specific requests, even going as far as asking how we would like our eggs poached ?? (I thought poached egg yolks were always just runny haha) For our meal, we ordered the Rosabella pancakes, red & green chilaquiles, French toast, a side of bacon, scrambled eggs, and potatoes. All of it was very delicious! The brioche made the French toast very soft. It wasn't too sweet either! This was the first time I'd ever seen green chilaquiles so I had to try it, and it tasted great. I wish I took more pictures! Their pastry displays looked amazing and the general vibe of the place was comfortable and warm. We ended up buying dessert on the way out: wedding cookies, chocolate croissant, and a pistachio cannoli. Again, desserts were not too sweet which is how I like my sweets. We also got some menudo to go. I give it 4/5 stars just because service and getting our food out was a little bit slow, but everything else was amazing! I will be coming back in the future.

It's been a long time since I visited Rosabella's when it was primarily a panaderia serving Mexican seeet breads. It has since transitioned into a full service restaurant serving "international foods" and still baking treats. We decided to stop in for breakfast on this long weekend. It was 830 am and it was slow and sleepy inside with only one person and one employee. We sat down a perused the menu and while is boosts international it's Mexican breakfast favorites with various standards. We ordered the beignets which were more like churro bites, fried dough balls rolled in cinnamon sugar. I ordered the Fernando's omelette which was like a chile relleno omelette with roasted poblanos cheese and chicken. It was good but lacking something so I used a little green salsa left over from the wife's tamale combo and it took it where it needed to be. Paired with some roasted red potato's and a side of fruit with tortillas it was a pretty massive serving, I would say there are small things needed to really put this place to a must visit. We didn't get our coffee until after the food came, the potato's needed to be crisped up they were definitely missing the texture element and the omelette needed that side of salsa to tie it together.

Nice sign, clean and modern classic.

Best breakfast/lunch place in Ventura!!! This hidden little gem of a cafe is in the corner of Thompson Blvd. They make everything from scratch so please be patient. When you first walk in your eyes are greeted by a variety of freshly baked deliciousness of pastries!!! What a welcome. The menu has breakfast/lumch options from your classic deli to more traditional Mexican breakfast , so good. We ordered hot chocolate, tamales pork and chicken single to try individually, huevos rancheros, and a BTL. Tamales: both the masa was fluffy. The pork tamale, pork was juicy in sauce was good. So was the chicken shredded in green sauce. The huevos rancheros, the sauce was not spicy, which I like and very flavorful. Best BTL ever! Has a excellent bacon and lettuce ratio! With avocado and a perfect garlic aioli to balance the BTL sandwich. Comes with a mixed greens salad. This wonderful mom and pop shop should be treasured. With excellent service, quality ingredients, a scratch kitchen, with freshly made food and baked goodies for all types of taste buds. Give it a try and you'll find it'll be one of your favorite eateries. Seriously highly recommended .

Good coffee. I stopped by for breakfast when I was having a flat tire fixed at pep boys next door. Large dining room with no customers at about 10 AM for late weekday breakfast, so it was very quiet. Large carry out bakery counter. Eggs Benedict used raw spinach, not Sauted, but it was still good.

I ordered my usual - known as the Caffe Breakfast here ($18). It comes with 2 eggs, your choice of protein (chicken sausage for me), potatoes, and ciabatta. It tasted like a regular ole hotel breakfast. The texture of the chicken sausage was crumbly which I didn't prefer and the eggs looked and tasted kind of limp. I smashed that thing and literally went right to sleep in my chair. What a perfect beach day thanks to Dukes. To add to my food experiences and recommendations here, the time before this, I ordered the fish and chips. In my case it was the fried fish and sweet potato fries. It was so flavorful and crispy. I highly recommend eating it there or hopefully near by so it doesn't lose that fresh crunch. However, you have to get any and all fries with their Ranch. I had to get extra as I couldn't seem to get enough. Obviously every fry needed to have a disgusting amount of ranch on it. Everything I had from here so far has been incredibly tasty and I would recommend it anytime you're in the area. Can't go wrong with good food and the beach with in skipping distance from one another.

He's very patient and attentive helping my dining experience be exactly to my liking. My dog was safely leashed near my table. Even Skipper got the attention he was hoping for. The Cafe offers complementary Doggy water bowls too. I think there is a Custom cooked Doggy meal section you can order off their menu. It was great to get such a nice breakfast with an ocean view and great wait staff such as Scott and the others. Dine with waiter Scott.

The…read moreentertainment was fantastic--the piano players were talented, interactive, and made for a really fun night. The food we did receive was very good. The Brussels sprouts and shishito peppers came in a huge, shareable portion, and the carne asada nachos were delicious. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the evening. It took 1 hour and 25 minutes just to receive our appetizers. During that entire time, our waitress never took our dinner order, and our menus remained on the table the entire evening. After our initial drinks were delivered, no one came back to check on us or ask if we'd like another round, even though our table would have gladly ordered more drinks. We later noticed that gratuity had already been added to the bill. Whether or not that had anything to do with the service, the lack of attention was disappointing. I understand restaurants can get busy, especially on nights with live entertainment, and I'm usually very patient. But waiting over an hour for appetizers without ever having the opportunity to order dinner, combined with almost no follow-up from our server, isn't the level of service I expect when making a reservation in advance. The dueling pianos, the Brussels sprouts and shishito peppers, and the carne asada nachos were all highlights. I truly hope this was just an off night because the restaurant has the ingredients for a great experience. Unfortunately, the service kept us from enjoying it as much as we should have.
