Didn't want to review after one meal, it was good, so I went again. Then I went again. This is 8 slices of heaven. Im a Chicagoan and when I travel back, pizza is a must. What do you do in between? Rosati's in Mckinney. We ordered a deep dish again. The kitchen crushed each time. The dough was done expertly. The crust was perfect- fork tender with a crunch. Wonderful. All our fixings, a great layer of sauce and cheese. Wonderful. Three pizzas and it was super consistent- who ever runs the kitchen should be super proud. Well done. Thursday's are more quiet, but Kathy served us both times and she was excellent. Brianna more recently. This was my first time at Rosattis bc my bestie recommended. I tried the lasagna bc my server Kathy advised that it is made onsite. I dont like lasagna but i ordered it anyway. I'm going apologize for this review as I haven't actually eaten here. I was about to because I love deep dish pizza and the pictures look incredible. But I went to the website and looked at the menu. They don't list the actual prices for their set combination deep dish pizzas. They only list the prices for their thin crust and make mention that other crusts have different prices. I'm on a budget. Maybe other people aren't. But when I'm looking at a menu online-or in the restaurant-I want to know what the item costs beforehand. I don't need any surprises after I've sat down and ordered. Quoting from the menu, "PRICES AND CALORIES REFLECT THIN CRUST OTHER CRUSTS AVAILABLE AT AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE." I realize it might be a corporate policy rather than just this one outpost's decision. My husband and I got a flyer in the mail for this place a few months ago. We ordered a pizza from there and it was delicious! We've already ordered two more times from there. The food is always delicious and hot and the delivery is always quicker than expected. We ordered the fettuccini once and the Alfredo sauce was dried out a little when it arrived but I think that's what happens usually with that type of sauce. Flavorful and just the right amount of spice. It came with fries that were perfectly hot and delicious. Get a side of garlic butter to dip your crust in. Pure heaven. In the mood for a stuffed pizza, so found this place. Ordered a sausage stuffed pizza for pickup over the phone with a pleasant personality. Got there early, so had to about 4 min. Paid the bill with a credit card. Pizza box felt heavy, but it was stuffed so that explains that. The restaurant was empty, but was clean. They also have delivery drivers to deliver food. In the truck the pizza smelled delicious. Got home & the stuffed pizza looked very appealing. Pizza tasted great even the crust was good. Had plenty of sausage & cheese, also the right flavor. Update: After posting this review, I did call in and the manager offered to make me another pizza but I requested and refund and offered them to take the pizza back to them. Again, there was nothing wrong with the service nor the manager or the staff. ----------------------------------------- 30$ later to only eat 2 slices and here is why: I went to order Togo and the young lady that took my order was super friendly and I felt welcomed when she was talking to me. I went to Walmart next door while waiting and got back right on time. The lady that first took my order was busy waiting taking orders on the phone and the guy that was facing me, was in the phone taking orders as well. But I was not even acknowledged nor looked at... which was okay with me cause I can see them busy, but I usually notice all small details to give you the full experience. I ordered a large pizza with tomatoes, basil, pepperoni and bacon. But they decided I did not the bacon... And decided that I did not the Diet Coke that I ordered as well. Once I got to my driveway I called in to cancel to make sure they refund me for my soda. Again, they were busy so I understand.... pizza time. The second I grab the edge of the pizza, I noticed that it felt like a cracker... a straight up cracker, it seemed as if it was rushed through the oven. First bite, cheese was not melted, tomatoes are raw, and to my surprise it felt old... now was it old or not, I dunno but it was hands down the worse pizza I ever had. The crust was a bit thick and clunky for thin crust, but it was the only thing holding this pizza back. However, I have to write a review on my experience last night. I came to pick up my my order of lasagna, broccoli/chicken/penne salad and a calzone. I asked for plastic ware to go along with it. They eventually found one set to give me. Yep, only one person plans to eat all that food. Then, they packaged everything separately and I asked for a larger bag so I don't have to juggle each item. We have eaten here on numerous occasions. Often times, I will go here, order the food, while my wife goes grocery shopping at Walmart. Walmart is a place that do not want to have anything to do with. There pizza is excellent. We have never been disappointed. They have an excellent selection of sandwichs that are full meals. The eating area is small. Tonight I tried the pasta and as expected did not disappoint! My family and I also went to the actual restaurant for sit down service and the employees were super nice and attentive.
